Trust
I could stop my review with just that word but I would be remiss if I didn't express my gratitude to this company and its staff. It is difficult to trust anyone with the care of your loved ones. No matter how qualified they are or how well they present themselves, it is always difficult to trust anyone with some you love. From the very first encounter, Chris, was an absolute professional. He was very compassionate and genuinely cared about the needs of my mother. Most companies come in and tell you what they can do for you and tell you how great they are without every asking a question. Chris listened - simple as that. He listened to my mother and the family to assess what services we might need before he said a word. I interviewed several companies (some big named companies) and Rest At Home, and Chris, were by far the best.
Fast forward three months - everything they promised - they delivered. The over communicate with the family which leaves no room for concern. And how great is it that the owner, Chris, just randomly visits my mother to see how things are going. Yes, he actually visited my mother. Most will make a call but Chris made the extra effort to visit her. Lani, the caretaker, is very sweet and the only thing she cares about is my mother. She is not on her phone, sending text, surfing the web - she tends to my mother the entire time.
I would encourage anyone looking for home health care for the needs of your family member to call this company. And, if anyone already has a company they use - I recommend they call Rest At Home.
