Quite possibly the nicest and cleanest rest stop I've ever visited - also a good place to stretch your legs and take a break from the drive

The cabin gives you all the space and amenities of home and is perfect for a couples' getaway or for the entire family. The bunk house brings a fun, outdoorsy vibe that is perfect for hunting trips or just hanging out with a large group. And the newest addition, the Cactus Hotel, can be a mixture of both! You have the option of renting one room at a time or the whole thing, depending on how large of a group you have. Each has its own bathroom and access to the common living area (which is super cozy and great for just hanging out- we escaped a rainstorm in here our first night!) I can't say enough nice things about The Ranch. Leah and Don are the most incredible hosts and will make sure you enjoy your time here, whatever the occasion. I'm already planning my next girls trip! Give this awesome family business a try!

The Chaparrel Ranch is great place to get away, enjoy an evening of fireside chats with family and friends or romantic evening for two. The Chaparrel Ranch has free range chickens and ducks as well as a pen of goats. You may also encounter the steer that roam the surrounding pastures. Wildlife such as, deer, hawks, road runners, and quail abound the ranch. I have never seen such a big beautiful star filled night sky! Leah- thank you for an unforgettable experience.

The staff was very helpful with all thing requested I had a problem figuring out how to work the remote for the tv couldn't figure out the volume and the young man came to my room to show me and I felt less than able once he showed me how it worked. Gotta push up and down not in who knew. All in all a wonderful stay at an amazing place.

I will go back just to crash in that glorious bed. They also have a great bar next to the pool that has fantastic cocktails and brunch in the AM. The pool isn't very large so make sure you take advantage during the early day as it got busy at night. They also have a food truck across the st with real cheesesteaks. I'm talking actual Philly wit wiz 1 1/2ft longs. They were open late so made for a great feast after the cocktails we had.
