First, he asked for half payment…read moreup front for a short film sound mix, and as soon as he received payment, he fell off the face of the Earth -- changed his phone number, stopped answering emails, etc. When I finally managed to get back in touch with him, he made promises to follow through on finishing the project but never did, and refuses to give me a refund. Had to take him to small claims court. What little material I did see from him (nothing even CLOSE to a completed project) was so embarrassingly unprofessional it makes me doubt he's actually ever mixed a TV/film project before. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
