Other loan officers do it wrong and just let their clients go out with just a pre-qualification form, which isn't an accurate number of what a person can afford. Armando also helps keep all the necessary paperwork submissions stress-free. The truth is that part of the normal process of getting a home requires a lot of back and forth about income and bank statements, but Armando's great attitude makes these communications easy to have. He is very knowledgeable about the industry, organized, adaptable, and responsive to help clients navigate the complex loan process smoothly and build trust. As a non-citizen, I cannot give my trust away so easily. But Armando earned it. He even helped us get a better interest rate right before closing escrow, saving us thousands over the years. I am now the proud owner of a multi-family home in Los Angeles. The whole process took two months - si se pudo! And Armando is still available to answer any questions even after closing.     I can't express enough how disappointed I am with my business experience with Marco Polo at this…read moreoffice. At beginning of escrow, he was overwhelmingly kind, always take phone calls and respond to text messages promptly even after hours and weekends. He seem to be very professional and very hard working loan officer which was the reason why my client chose him to do the loan. He always respond to our calls and I've told him over the phone that I appreciated him very much. Then, when issue arise on the loan, he completely stop communicating with us. The issue I have is his irresponsible work ethics to all involved in this transaction. We've opened escrow on beginning of February at 45 day escrow term, which at that time my buyer was shopping for lenders for two weeks. He begin working on the loan two weeks after we opened escrow but he still had more than 45+ days to work on the loan until loan was declined on 4/16. Buyer, listing agents, escrow officers and I have been trying to get hold of him via numerous emails, phone calls and text messages which he intentionally ignored and carelessly declined to return back to any of us. It is very surprisingly and shocking how a licensed professional don't have any work ethics, and no professionalism to return a phone call or simply a text message for loan updates. I have emails and text message history on record. He failed to provide a simple, fundamental customer service to clients, and failed to provide a humane relationship. Last email communication he responded was on 4/6, which he replied to listing agents, "Loan has been escalated waiting on response" My very last communication from Marco was text message dated 4/7 "once received update from underwriting I will" Since his last response, we all have been reaching out to him for an update, literally desperate for an answers and trying our ways to get some clear answer on the loan and get his upper managers to get involved so that we have clear answers on the loan process. After complete silence, on 4/16, he called and told us that the whole time we were desperately trying to reach him and requesting countless number of response from him, his reason for not responding was simply because he was on vacation which he never told us. Not only he never apologized, he was busy trying to blame on my buyer because she was shopping for the lender. Then he called the listing agent on 4/16 and told to him that *****"Shannon knew this loan was declined weeks ago and she is lying to you to buy some time" ***** He straight out lied to the listing agent. I asked listing agent to be on conference call as a witness. I don't know if Marco understand that when licensed loan officer is lying in business matter, it becomes very serious issue. We are in discussion to get Customer Care Recovery Group to get involved to investigate the details of the loan. At this time, I believe his apology is minimal he can do as a normal human being. If professionalism matters to him, if customer relationship matters to him, I hope he will take few minutes of his vacation time and act as a mature person, show his honesty, and apologize to myself and all persons involved and acknowledge that he lied to the listing agent because he may have needed someone to blame on the loan. We are adults and we understand that people make mistakes. Although I am disappointed at him, I still believe that he still have nice, honest side of him and that he will take responsibility for his actions as this is what adults do.

So in my busy schedule, I was able to get pre-approved, with under writing for our home within 2 days. They are top of the line with communication, transparency, and efficiency. Without this group, I don't think I would have been able to even make a solid offer in ample time, let alone get this home that we wanted so much. If this process was as amazing for everybody, I think there would be a lot more homeowners in this country!
