After reading all the reviews, I was looking forward to a great experience. Unfortunately, my stay turned out much different from the ones described. The hotel staff I dealt with at check in and check out were fantastic, professional and customer focused. The room however left much to be desired. I am not sure the room I was assigned should have been made available for occupancy. My primary concern was the bathroom, specifically the exhaust system. I can't explain the cause or source but the bathroom had a very strong odor of what seemed like cigarette smoke. The smell was overpowering and noticeable as soon as you approached the bathroom door. If prior guest had smoked in the bathroom then I would hope the smell and odor was mitigated/resolved before the room was used again. Beyond that, the room was clean but haphazardly. The top of the fridge, immediately noticeable when entering the room, was dirty. The legs/base of the desk chair did not appear to have been wiped down this year. There was debris on the desk chair and around the rim of the toilet. The bathroom vent was visibly stained when looking up. There were a few other minor items that it it clear the room was cleaned in a less than thorough manner. When taken in totality it tells me the room was poorly cleaned and obviously not checked. If all these visible items appear dirty then I hate to think what the things not so visible were In fairness, I spoke with the front desk about the cigarette smell and was immediately offered another room. I am still forced to wonder why the room I was in was even used to house a hotel guest.

We stayed here 6 years ago when it was brand new. My inlaws live in the area and it was nice to know there was a new residence inn to stay at. Here we are 6 years later and the place is neat to hell. The cleaning staff can use some training to say the least. My 5 year old didn't want to sit on the toilet and I can't blame her. For the hotel industry to have been hit hard for a year with the lack of travel due to the pandemic, you'd think it would have left lots of down time to get caught up and get the property clean for guests. Imagine that. I guess not. Last but not least the A/C in the place isn't working correctly. We ended up having to move to another hotel. I don't recommend.

The Residence Inn in Niles Ohio is an impressive Hotel. The rooms are almost all suites which include large flat screenTVs, king size bed, a walk in the shower, vanity room, L shaped couch, a full kitchen with stove, sink, stainless steel appliances. There is a desk and pendant lights. This is a hotel fit for executives in my opinion. The lobby reminds me of a casino lobby in Atlantic City. And has trendy lounge vibe in the lobby with fashionable furniture and areas for intimate conversation. The gym have the typical exercise machines as well as dumbells up to 50 pounds. The pool area is one of the best I've seen in a hotel. You will be very happy with the residence inn. I stayed one night, The front staff seemed eager to help me with anything I needed.

Nice new RI. I really enjoy the big open lobby area. I always feel motivated to do my paperwork in one of the pods. Close to many places to eat and attached to the mall.

Free dinner! I didn't even mind the informal plate. It made me feel like I was a millennial that buys craft beer instead of real dishes.

This hotel has complimentary dinner and breakfast- and I'm not talking about stale bagels and jelly BS, it was legit delicious food. I've even heard murmurs of free happy hour cocktails. Let's face it; if this hotel pulled my hair and told me I didn't need Botox, I would marry it.

Tom Terrific here with another honest business review…read more My brother heard about this place and was aching to go there. He has his own Jumbo pinball machine in his home and he's really into it. So am I, so we stopped in a few days after Christmas. Admission on that Sunday was $20 per person. I was stunned by how many people were there. Male and a surprising number of females. Whole families with little kids were having a blast. It's a huge place with many hundreds of machines, most of which are pinball. They have gun shooting machines, the pac man type machines and my favorite the baseball games where this flapper rises up and a pinball shoots out and you whack it with the bat using your flipper control. My favorite pinball was the Twilight Zone. It gave me lots of time to bang that ball around and it had all the bells, whistles and lights I love. Many times in the 2 and a half hours we were there I'd just go from one machine to the next one all down the line. What fun! The men's restroom was medium size, easy to find in the rear and clean. I was surprised to find that they have a great concession court. It had lots of tables, chairs and napkins. There was a TV showing football. The biggest surprise was the quality of the food. My $3.50 hot dog was all beef on a fresh bun and there were all the condiments, even relish in packets. The food staff wore latex gloves and all of them were neat, clean and wholesome looking. I refuse to eat at any place that hires people with what we in Tampa call snot rings that go into their septum and hang down to their lips. UGH. Get the hell out of here. Not for me. Very unsanitary. I complimented the staff on their food and they thanked me. I noticed that they had quantity control. The french fries were made to order and they came out of a small sandwich bag that I assume was weighed for a consistent number of fries. You don't see that everywhere. I checked the counters and the floor of the kitchen and the entire place - it was clean and the floors appeared freshly mopped. A+ Past Times also had decorations and photos on the walls and my brother knew who the old men were that were depicted there. The walls honored the pioneers of pinball, a very appropriate thing to do. The entire staff and management was very kind as we asked questions and I got my picture taken with the white board stating I was Tom Terrific from Tampa, Florida. My brother said there may be only one pinball arcade that was larger and it resides in Los Angeles. I loved Past Times and it seems like so did all the other people. I highly recommend it for a date, a great family night out or even as a solo venture. Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Past Times - 5 Stars !

HO. LEE. SHE. IT…read more It took me a while to get here, but I've just been to the best arcade in Ohio. Past Times Arcade is absolutely fantastic. Maybe, just maybe, it's the best arcade that I've been to in the last 40 years! PTA has the largest "open to the public" selection of pinball machines that I've ever seen...this includes the Pinball Hall of Fame in Vegas and both of the big venues in Pittsburgh. There might be occasional pinball expos, and private collections, where more games are on display...but these are usually not open year round. Rare and cool AF games are everywhere! There are tables from 5, maybe 6, continents! Tables from "every" era in pinball history are represented, IN LARGE NUMBERS, at PTA! And critically, almost all of the games are playable AND are in GREAT CONDITION! I'm not sure how the owner and his team keep this many tables in such good condition, but somehow, it is the case. How about video games? You bet! PTA has over 200 of these. Selection? Lots of rare games and almost all the blockbusters as well. Are they in good condition? Yep. Less than 5 were not operational. Not a single game (that I played) had an issue with the controls or the screen. Amazing. Also cool: There is a fair number (50ish?) of pre-transistor electromechanical games. Many of these were operational, but many, (such a Sega's Periscope) were, unfortunately, not up and running. Still though, it was nostalgic and (maybe even a little) heart warming to see them again. The games are set on "Free Play;" you pay 20 bucks to play all day. You get a wrist band and you can come and go as you please. If you're a kid, it's cheaper. If you're a veteran or a first responder, it's cheaper. Food? Yes. I admit that I didn't eat anything, but the kitchen and diner area sure smelled good! It was also amazing how clean PTA was, even the crapper was spotless. Booze? Yes. I didn't drink but the selection of canned adult beverages looked pretty extensive. Bottom line: I've been to some of the biggest and best arcades (and coin op museums) in the country. Past Times Arcade just might be the best. No shit. 5 Stars.

The food is absolutely delicious as the the in-house catering outfit is led/ran by the owner and operator of a few local restaurants, Café 422 and The Candywood Wine Cellar. The offering was pasta with red sauce, Chicken Parmesan, garlic green beans, salad and cake for dessert. The chicken was perfectly breaded/seasoned of which was complimented by the excellent red sauce. Every bite was delicious. This place is becoming well known in our area and am told they are just about booked every weekend leading into 2024. There was a bourbon tasting, movie night at the indoor pool and a dinner for a sorority! Also you could pay 100 in the cigar lounge to attend an event! There is no buffet for breakfast you just dine in that wasn't explained to us! We had a 150 voucher dining credit and I kept telling our servers that they never applied it to the voucher so we went to the gatsby on my birthday and spent the 150 in there! We ended up over spending because they never explain how to use the vouchers you get when you buy a package! The champagne that came with the anniversary package was nasty I wanted to exchange it for wine and they wouldn't I don't drink champagne. I think you should be able to choose if we want wine or champagne. Friday (day of birthday) it smelled like weed really heavily! It was so over baring!!! On Thursday it didn't smell like that but Friday and Saturday it was bad and it just made the experience not so good for me! I was so excited to stay here and been wanting to come and have that happen just put a bad taste in my mouth! Friday everything was loud and there was a lot of ppl everywhere! Kids screaming and running the pools were over crowded and it wasn't peaceful anymore! I stayed in my room all day on my birthday! Sad I just wanted to go home so we checked out early Saturday! I won't be back! My favorite place was the cigar lounge and the sauna only peaceful spots in the resort! Bae felt like it was over priced because of the kids and weed smoke and the young adults running around cussing and just being them! Didn't get to experience the Roman bath too many young ppl splashing around and being dum and complaining that they were cold! Our room was clean bed was comfy and pillows was comfortable! All the staff was nice except our very first server she was mean, and I didn't like her attitude. We had questions because this was our first time here at the resort and we didn't know what any of the food items were in. I don't know if she just didn't like our presence but we just ordered chicken wings, because we didn't like her attitude. And left! But 3/10 over all experience!

The property is beautiful and luxurious, and from the moment we arrived everyone made us feel incredibly welcome. The rooms were spacious, the beds were wonderfully comfortable, and since we booked a package, we were greeted with a charcuterie board and wine -- such a nice touch. We took full advantage of the spa and enjoyed several services, including pedicures, facials, and deep tissue massages. I opted for the 90-minute massage and... absolute heaven. Truly one of the highlights of the trip. We also dined at Gatsby. While I had just had my wisdom teeth removed and couldn't fully indulge, everyone else's food looked fantastic and they couldn't stop raving about it. Special shout-out to Jimmy for being such an amazing and attentive waiter. Lastly, we spent time at the Roman Pool, and even at the start of winter it was incredible. The water temperature was perfect and kept us nice and warm -- just be prepared for the cold air when getting out, because that part is definitely not for the weak! We're already planning a return visit since we didn't get to experience everything the resort has to offer. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I would gladly recommend to anyone. Even as a day trip, you won't be disappointed.

She says that she will have somebody there to Direct people where to park which is in the contract there was nobody there was no security officer for the alcohol as well she sat in our reception the entire time with her face and her phone with Jean shorts a tank top and hiking boots. And was very rude to all of the vendors. She said that she had a working refrigerator behind the bar she did not so one of our vendors had to go out and get more ice to keep drinks cold or run across the other side of the barn to get things out of her little fridge that she had in there to try to keep drinks cold and then when you can't find out to get the barn lights turned on for the reception and everything that she's supposed to have turned on good luck finding her because it took us about a half hour to find her. The venue was very beautiful but I'm going to be honest with you I would rather have this wedding in my backyard so I would not have to deal with her she is downright disrespectful and is very two-faced if anybody would like to know any more information you are more than welcome to message me I have screenshots messages to prove everything as well as Chris blocking my wife and trash talking my wife and the north east Ohio wedding group our opinions are our own everybody has a right to their opinion and their feelings that is what reviews are for so I would highly not recommend this venue to anybody especially somebody that doesn't want their bride to have to change in the middle of a field or in a Porta John with their dress.
