Amazing wood framing and floors, private guest rooms (two share a large patio off the front of the house), two kitchens and so much more! The owners are the sweetest! They are more than helpful, accomodating, knowledgeable about the area (history and local events). Plus, they make a killer breakfast! As a "green girl" I sincerely appreciate the heath and sustainability of the couple and the property. Your eggs can be fried with coconut oil and paired with fresh vegetables from their garden. They compost and only clean with sustainable products. Also earth concious, they have solar panels and water efficient toilets. The rooms are cozy and the beds comfortable as can be. Even the pillows were great - I know because I usually have to travel with my own due to my TMJ. The master suite has a phenomenal hot tub (see pics) which is well worth the stay right there! Better than any of the finest hotel tubs in Vegas, which I know first hand. Note, it's right off a semi-busy street in town and you can sometimes hear the traffic, but when the windows and doors are closed you barely hear a thing. I highly recommend and can't wait for the opportunity to go back!

As I looked around in every room, on every wall, on every table and in every nook there was a well decorated elegance and charm - books, throws, photos, art and even grand pianos (2). More importantly Marty and Ann are the quintessential hosts. The perfect balance of charming and engaging without hovering around. After having been partially destroyed by fire, vacated by a vagrant, and after sitting unloved and overgrown, the house has taken new life after being restored by the Winner family in the past 29 or so years. It really is magical inside and outside. I can see why people choose this as a wedding venue. I would love to come back and stay there and experience the spa. "A SLICE OF HEAVEN"…read more The buildings are perfectly maintained on the outside and pristine inside. The flowers are so attractive I wanted to smell each one to see if they were real. We stayed in the Studio Lodge. It was spacious with a full kitchen and separate bedroom. An assortment of snacks and drinks were provided. Breakfast was a feast - French toast, eggs, bacon, muffins, fresh fruit and coffee. Pat & Tom are charming and easy to talk with. Whoever visits the CVE B&B is very fortunate. May God bless.
