We approached Aisha at Resham Creations in Fall 2024. Initially, she was charismatic, warm, and friendly, giving positive feedback on design elements. We made a deposit for several outfits over the next few months, including nikkah, mehndi, and Shaadi outfits for my husband and me. However, her behavior changed drastically after the deposit, with numerous instances of inappropriate, unprofessional, and manipulative conduct. At first, her communication was good. After the deposit, calls went unanswered, messages ignored, and voicemails disregarded. Promised deadlines were repeatedly missed. My husband had to call multiple times daily, sometimes waiting days for a response, only to be told the outfits wouldn't be ready on time. On multiple occasions, she suggested we reschedule our wedding or change travel plans to fit her delays -- utterly unacceptable. Documentation was chaotic from the start. We discussed specific fabrics, colors, and upgrades which she confirmed (and charged extra for), but there was no organized record. Notes were handwritten, receipts cryptic, and she lost documentation multiple times, complicating the process. Details we explicitly rejected were included, and some paid upgrades never happened. She lost my husbands measurements weeks before the deadline and asked me to measure myself. The quality was inconsistent and disappointing. For example, my nikkah veil had a seam down the center, which she claimed was necessary for support and barely noticeable. Yet, I found the identical veil on her company's social media with no seam--suggesting a quick repair rather than a remake. The mehndi outfit's fabric came apart within hours of wearing it (photos attached), and the wedding dress had sequins glued on instead of sewn, falling off within hours despite the premium price. Poor timeliness and communication made this experience a nightmare. We were first promised delivery by April 25th, then April 20th after paying for upgrades, then reverted back to April 25th when she lost the documentation. She missed the deadline and said it would be done during our wedding week, then blamed Ramadan and her staff's vacation. We received the dress 36 hours before the wedding. When we requested an urgent trial and adjustments, she insisted on unreasonable demands, like waiting until 5 pm to iron the outfits (which she never did). The wedding dress had wrong fabrics, trims, and quality issues. It was too late for major fixes; we just wanted the dresses. Shockingly, Aisha expressed frustration that adjustments were needed because I lost weight, ignoring that normal alterations happen weeks in advance. Her business operations were also bizarre -- frequent offline credit card terminals, no business Zelle or Venmo, requiring online payments to random family members. Our final interaction was explosive. Aisha screamed at my mother, threatened to call the cops, and snatched my dress, saying she'd "rather go to jail" than give us what we paid for. This reaction stemmed from complaints about her delays. She was derogatory and dismissive toward my mother, even telling me not to let her mom speak to her about the dress -- a completely unreasonable boundary. My husband and I will never return to Resham Creations nor recommend it to family or friends. Despite a beautiful wedding filled with joyful memories, Resham Creations contributed nothing positive. We felt unsafe, threatened, and emotionally drained dealing with Aisha. Her business is disorderly, client interactions manipulative, and conflict management unprofessional. She is a pathological liar, creating confusion and overwhelming stress. Do not recommend. Any bride coming in to look for your wedding dresses please go elsewhere. It may look like an easier option ordering locally but with their customer service and inefficiency you're better off ordering from a designer in Pakistan. My cousin made the mistake of ordering her outfits from here and every single item had something wrong with it. Not only does this place charge a pretty penny but they don't have the workmanship to back it. The coloring of the outfits was wrong. The sizing was incorrect and the stitching was horrendous and poorly executed. The customer service is it's own issue. Aisha is extremely rude, lacks basic customer service skills as well as human decency. As a bride there's already soo much on your plate and dealing with all of this is not worth it. My cousin literally received her dress 1 day before her wedding which is unheard of especially since it was a destination wedding. These outfit orders were placed well in advanced and confirmed by Aisha herself that they would arrive in time. Please think twice before submitting an order with them. I have never been so upset as to write a review for a business but this just goes to show how bad of a business this is. I got my reception and mehndi dress and my husband's mehndi outfit from here and the design and fitting was GORGEOUS. The fabric is very comfortable and the matching jewelry was a beautiful touch. Super UNPROFESSIONAL service overall: 3 ladies (staff) rushing us to buy their outfits, were extremely curt and pushy and the owner was straight up rude! There were no price tags on the dresses so it felt like they were throwing random prices at customers. When we went to purchase a dress, they said their card machine is out of order, kept pushing for cash payments. Took home a dress and noticed there was some loose threading/damage to this very expensive dress. Called and they were completely rude and unbothered on the phone, claiming it's not their responsibility at all. Very negative experience shopping here. As other reviews mention, Aisha will act nice and hospitable at first in person, but as soon as you give the deposit, there is no communication at all. We called her several times after to figure out the timeline of delivery and she ghosted us completely. Once we did get the dress, there were issues with it. We pointed out those issues and she told us it was fine. We also ordered a pouch from her, and she assured us it would come within a week. After a week, we called her and she told us it was delayed. Again, her communication was very poor--if the pouch was delayed, why couldn't she tell us herself? She tried giving us a different bag, but this isn't how you do business. She also forced me to take a video saying that I love the dress, which was really awkward. We had a very poor experiences shopping here, she gave us a lot of anxiety and her communication was horrible. She becomes a completely different person once you hand the deposit to her. I regret buying from here and I urge others to not buy from here. I'm surprised how she has some five star reviews, but after looking at each of those reviews, they look like they're from fake accounts. This has by far been the most unprofessional experience I have ever encountered. My sister in law bought a dress from her with a bag that she never received. She is a true scammer who was horrible with communicating and gave us false promises about the bag getting delivered in time. The most disgusting part of it all is she never refunded us our money. I asked her for weeks and gave her the opportunity to refund us but she kept lying about her Zelle account not working. She repeated "this is America" when in reality she is scamming people like she is still in Pakistan. Horrible woman and I would not recommend anyone to go to her for ANYTHING. AVOID THIS PLACE. Resham Creation NJ. The owner, Aisha Farid, was screaming at me, kicking me out of her store, threatening to call the cops on me and threatening my family if I write a bad review about her. I'm not exaggerating or lying. I was only asking for a refund of the product item which was not delivered to me. We ordered a wedding dress for my daughter in February 2024 and paid a $700 deposit in cash (which includes $100 for a pouch) to her employee at her store because her employee specifically asked for cash. The delivery date was supposed to be July 20, 2024. The dress was not ready on time and kept getting delayed. August came and almost every weekend she'd tell us the dress would be ready, only for it to get delayed again. My family was under a lot of stress and my wife was losing sleep worried if we would get our dress or not. Five weeks delayed of the delivery date, the dress was finally ready, and we drove from our home in Virginia to New Jersy to pick up the dress. My daughter tried the dress, and it was a bit tight. Aisha had told my wife over the phone at one point if the dress needs to be fixed her tailor would do it on the spot since we're coming from another state. When we asked her if she can fix it, she said she can't cause her tailors is not here and we should get it fixed in Virgina instead. That goes against what she told us, but we compromised and said that's fine. Our original deposit included $100 extra for the pouch, and it was not with the dress, so we asked for our money back for the pouch. Aisha refused to return the money. It was not fair that we paid for the pouch and we're not getting the product. She offered to order us a new pouch, but I told her I'd rather get my money back because I was not confident, we would receive the pouch in time, let alone at all given how she kept delaying the dress. When I insisted on getting the money back, she got mad and started screaming at me. She said now she will not give us the dress, not accept our final payment and will not refund the deposit either. She said she'll only give us the dress if I apologize, which I refused to do because as a customer I have a right to let her know if I have had a good or bad experience with her business. Then she kicked me out of her store and threatened to call the police on me if I stayed. I was extremely angry at this point and told her I would be writing a review about her so other people can learn from my experience, to which she said the bad consequences of that will come before my daughter if I write a review. My wife was trying to diffuse the situation with her, and she was yelling at my wife too and told her to swear on my daughter we won't write a bad review about her.???? I am a customer, and all customers have the right to review businesses, it could be good or bad depending on their experience and the kind of service you provide to customers. She acted like I am doing her an injustice by writing a review about my experience, this is MY experience, and I can speak about it. If you're that worried about negative reviews, then you should provide excellent customer service and don't take money for the item you didn't deliver so that no one has anything negative to say about you. Even when I was insisting on my money back and telling her I was displeased with her service, I did not personally attack her and was only talking about her business. But in return, she had to bring my daughter into it and make things personal. Completely inappropriate. I couldn't deal with her attitude and screaming so I left her store angry. My wife convinced her to accept our final payment including the money for pouch which we didn't get, and she left with the dress luckily. In my lifetime I have not experienced this kind of horrendous behavior from any business owner, even if I told them I had a bad experience with their service/business. Negative stars. Aisha is one of the worst people I have had the misfortune of meeting. A family friend recommended her and if I had read any of her reviews I would never have come to her. It takes a pretty awful person to scam people, but a true monster to scam people on what is supposed to be one of the happiest days of their lives: weddings. She ruined all the clothes for my wedding on July 7. 1. My nikkah dress had holes in it and she claimed it was the natural silk fabric. It had patches where the cloth had obviously caught on something, pulling up and ruining the fabric. She used a bottle of gasoline to "repair" the damage! Like pouring gasoline all over the clothes is going to make the holes disappear?! The pants were huge in the waist and extremely tight from the knees down, to the point where I was unable to sit. I spent hours the week of my wedding taking the stitching apart so my mom could re-sew the churi pajama appropriately. 2. My husband's sherwani was ill-fitting in the arms and back. I asked for the work to be silver and gold, and it came back red and gold. There was no red in my wedding and had to change the color of my bridal bouquet so it wouldn't look like we just threw a random sherwani onto the groom! The design on the front of the sherwani does not even line up when it is buttoned. The dupatta did not arrive with the sherwani and we had to have it shipped to my parent's house the week of the wedding. 3. For my mehndi outfit, the arm holes are different sizes. I asked her to line the arms and they came unlined. I asked her to remove the purple color in some of the design and it came back with all the purple still there. 4. My wedding day outfit is by far the worst. I tried on the sample in the store back in October of 2017. My family loved it and so we ordered it. The product that was delivered was NOT THE SAME DRESS as what I tried on! She made a different dress at least two shades darker than the original with completely different work (especially the flowers). There were several issues with the work on the dress and she kept making up lie after lie. Not only are the flowers all over the dress different, but the beadwork on the front does not line up and is completely different than what I tried on. The fabric attachments that go on the shoulders are 100% different than what I tried on - so different that I took them off on my wedding day because the pictures looked so awful (the work at the bottom was completely different with no design elements that would tie it into the rest of the dress). Not only was the dress different than what was promised, it was stitched so poorly that again, my mom and I were taking the dress apart the week of the wedding. The neckline was so high that it dug into my neck, leaving a cut on my neck! My mom had to cut and re-stitch the neckline. The zipper on the side was sewn into the armpit! We took the entire top of the dress apart and had to re-stitch it. Aisha had added extra fabric to the back of the dress to make it less revealing and added "Swarovski crystals" otherwise known as cheap dollar store rip-offs. The work was so badly done and falling apart that I had to take off the remainder of the crystals and we had to ask her to ship more mesh fabric last minute to re-do the back of the dress. In the end, I had to wear it with hot glue marks. Ridiculous. Aisha lied again and again to my face. She must think everyone in the world is an idiot the way she continues to lie when confronted with picture evidence of the truth! She also kept repeating that her factory workers were idiots and did not have any brains. She said they all ate food while working and the clothes come out of the factory looking unrecognizable until they douse them in gasoline and clean them before delivery (obviously not well enough, as I was using a tide pen to take out food stains from my dress the morning of my wedding). Who in their right mind would want to order from a woman who doesn't respect her workers, probably pays them extremely low wages, and then doesn't even quality control the work? In the wedding industry, it's hard to do anything because no bride wants to go into her wedding with NO CLOTHES, especially since they deliver the clothes 1-2 weeks before the wedding (and sometimes WAY worse than that, from the rest of these reviews!). If this weren't for my wedding, I would have walked out of the store, leaving my deposit behind. To top it all off, Aisha felt "so bad" that I was upset that after I paid her in full for all of the clothes (despite ALL the errors and even DAMAGE), she told me she was going to send me a set of clothes when she mailed my husband's missing dupatta. The dupatta arrived by itself with no extra clothes. Aisha is a cheat and will scam you over and over again. Please be warned and please do not go to her store. Dear store, don't judge a book by its cover. This is not how to do business. Please learn some manners. Also, regardless of how I felt in your store, this comment is based on quality. My fiancé did not find an outfit to her liking and we wanted to take some time before making a decision. THE WORSE OF THE WORSE - the worse customer service, the worse interactions and people, and the worse place to get outfits for what is supposed to be a happy time for a bride to be. I am sincerely disgusted by this place and particularly the designer and supposed "owner", Aisha Farid. A true scammer and hustler. I had two interactions with this lady; once when we first chanced upon the store and second when we had returned with other family members to see if this was the place we wanted to get wedding outfits. I should have been thrown by the fact that during our allotted bridal appointment, she kept making us feel bad if other customers were trying to come in the store and were quickly eaving because we were taking up their time or their space. Her claim was no one would want to enter a store during the time of Covid - we even offered for some family members to disperse as we continued to try things on. On top of that, her assistant who helps put you in the clothes is the typical brown judgemental aunty who is basically yelling at you on HOW NOT to put clothes on when in fact she should be the one guiding and patient. Aisha told us many times to not take pictures of anything as these were new designs then we chanced on her Instagram to find that her designs are from ages ago.....So going to own our faults there for overseeing the red flags. But the real fault lies in her service. We never solidified any designs, any colors, or anything. I had text messages to prove it. We realized in the next coming two days that our wedding plans were changing with COVID. And given that she had done nothing with our order - this included even the slightest attempt at even making it or gathering clothes because we truly didn't finalize any design, she would have no issue returning our money. She claims that the money is not her issue - that her partners sitting in nowhere land are claiming a nonrefundable policy etc. The ONLY evidence of a customer ever even knowing about such a policy is a stamp on her run-down old paper receipt claiming no refund or exchange. Refunds or exchanges are for definable goods - goods we NEVER even got. Moreover, she lied claiming she had already started making the order the next day - you have someone here who is money hungry. Little did I know she would go MIA right after the deposit. I placed my order in December and she promised all 3 outfits on April 15th, which was even on the contract. My wedding was on May 5th,6TH and 7th. I received all 3 dresses on May 3rd. Literally two days before my dates. Not only did the dresses need fitting, she got the color wrong and refused to admit her mistake. She tried to gaslight me into thinking this is what I asked for but I had pictures of the swatches. She told me if I want I can go out and find another dress instead of trying to fix the problem she played victim. All she kept saying was how shes been in this business for 15 years and something like this has never happened. She yelled at me, my sisters and cousin then proceeded to cry because I didn't appreciate her work. She also expected me to still pay shipping fees, even though it was 2 1/2 weeks late. After arguing with her for 3 days straight, we finally came to an agreement, I was desperate since my wedding was that weekend and took just the two dresses. (which she also gave me an extremely hard time) Her tactic is to give you your dresses last minute so you dont have a choice but to pay for it, otherwise she will hold it hostage. I am still in shock by the way Aisha treated me throughout the process of getting my dress. She has no customer service skills and is extremely rude. She not only yelled at me multiple times for asking her for updates on the dress but she also blamed me for the dress being late. There is little sense in what she says and she refuses to take accountability. I placed an order 4 months in advance and received the dress a day before my Walima. Since the day we paid the deposit, Aisha did not reach out to me a single time. Any contact made with her was initiated on my end and even then she would not answer or respond 90% of the time. Her employee informed me that Aisha has gotten into fights with many of her other clients and has a pattern of treating her clients horribly after finalising a sale. I wish I could give them negative stars. We ordered my sister's wedding dress from here more than 2.5 months in advance. The date they said we would receive the dress latest by was December 15th - which was only a week before the wedding. We told them we wanted to dress sooner and were not comfortable with a such a close delivery date but they guaranteed us a December 15th delivery in writing and kept telling us we would receive it sooner than that date. However, once December started they said they cannot get us the dress by the 15th. They said they would have it by December 18th. December 18th comes by, STILL NO DRESS! The wedding is 4 days away and the owner - Ayesha - is sitting in Pakistan ignoring all calls and messages. We had been trying to reach her for days! We ended up receiving the dress THE EVENING BEFORE THE WEDDING! She had promised that she would give us free jewelry and a party dress because she admitted it was her fault. However, when we got there, we received nothing free. Had to pay full for the wedding dress, did not receive the party dress, and she just discounted the jewelry. I ordered my mom's sari for my WEDDING reception, she showed me a picture of HERSELF wearing the same sari while in the store (to say "oh this will look so nice on her") but said she was getting a new one made for my mom and to have a blouse made for my mom's size. She sent the sari 3 days before the wedding and said "don't open until day of so that the folds stay" We opened 2 days before and the blouse has obviously BLUE marking all over it - she tried to alter the original one she already wore, it did not fit and the sari was OLD, USED, with the petticoat basically ripped. SHE SENT US HER OLD USED SARI!! We immediately called, sent pictures SHE DID NOT ANSWER!! I was crying. My mom had to pay twice to get the sari blouse re-altered and wear an old used sari. It was terrible. She had NO care that is was my WEDDING!!! We sent the sari back, and she KEPT it, no refund of any money, no apology, no store credit. Also on that same day in the store (before we realized she was a thief) we ordered 2 sari blouses for the future (paid on the same day to be custom made) and she said she would mail them to us when they came. That was ONE YEAR ago. I have been calling, texting her and finally now she responds she was gone to Pakistan and she just got back. Her store owner said she's been back since April. WHY has she not sent us the sari blouses? And she refuses to send money back. She didn't even respond if she has the clothes or what her plan to get them to us is. A year later, our events that we bought the blouses for have already passed and we still don't have the blouses (more than $500 charge) and no refund on money! Review: Buyers Beware: we bought a dress and 2 blouses from Resham collections which were represented to us as "new." When we opened the package we saw that they were all clearly used and just Drycleaned - they sold us used clothing passing it off as new. Resham, despite my requests, did not refund my money. We ended up driving 5 hours from Maryland to get to her store to demand a refund in person. The manager refused. We called the police who came to the scene. Officer Romatowski sympathized with us, saw the condition of the clothes sold to us , tried to get the manager to refund us after what he saw, but when the manager still refused, the officer wrote a detailed theft report and he encouraged us to use the report to sue Resham to recover our money. Even more shocking, another customer walked in while we were there and she was complaining of having clothes that didn't arrive as ordered either. Clearly we are not the only customers Resham is mistreating. Save yourself a huge headache and save your money, don't shop at Resham collections. As I see it, they are complete crooks. read more

I was able to get my outfit in the colors that I wanted and it was fitted to my size. I am very happy with the clothes I ordered.

If I could give negative stars I would. Aisha (the owner) is so rude that even when you say her name to people in the town or surrounding stores they have a disgusted look on their face. She uses extremely cheap material to make the cloths and they end up being see through. She has no design sense at all and think very highly of her self. She was asked to make an engagement outfit for me and even though I gave her a picture it turned out to be completely different and horrendous. The top did not match the skirt and I had to have someone else re make the top. She will definitely not give you your cloths on time. I have proof of receipt with the date she will have the order done by and she did not give me the order until 2 months later. She messed it up and I had to rush and get things fixed for more cost. AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT...she does not do the alterations properly!!! and when you talk to her own people that work for her, they have bad things to say about her and her attitude. She is so uneducated and money hungry that she will make you pay upfront then do a terrible job and refuse to give back your money. Her arguments make no sense that you can tell she has some type of psych issue. She will lie about what the outfit looks like and not send you any pictures. She makes everything in pakistan for a quarter of the cost and tries to over charge you. Please use this as a warning. read more

I wish I had seen the reviews on this page before I came here. We came here because someone had recommended her, but honestly we had such a terrible experience here. They have the worst customer experience and I'm not sure how they expect anyone to come back here. We certainly are not although this would have been very convenient for me since I'm moving to NJ. My sister tried to get an outfit here for my wedding. And we gave a deposit of $750 for the outfit. However, we called the very next day before the store clerk passed along the order to the designer saying we are a bit hesitant and not to process the order just yet. We were told that the designer/owner would not give deposit back and we had to get something at the full amount, which was $1500. The designer straight up would not take my mom's calls despite calling her several times. The store manager tried calling her several times on our behalf and this designer/owner Aisha ignored her calls too, but would pick up the calls of others who worked at the store. In the end we were so frustrated that we had to walk away with two outfits that were probably worth $750 together for double the amount. I get that some stores have a policy of no returns or exchange, but this outfit had to be made from scratch and the order was canceled in a more than reasonable amount of time since we talked to them about holding on the order the very next day. Instead we were forced to get something at $1500 when the deposit was only $750. Thankfully, I haven't been thru what others seem to have been thru with this store, but I highly recommend others to not come here. And definitely read the other reviews. There are some horror stories in here and on Facebook. I know of another boutique that is local to me that has much better customer service and is far better reasonably priced. 1 day after I posted the review on Yelp my daughter's dress arrived! Like mine, it is 6 inches longer than her measurements. What is the purpose of taking measurements if dresses won't be made to size? What a horrible experience! read more
