After my cousin finally navigated their delayed communication from the start, she clearly and politely communicated that the dog wasn't the right fit. She apologized and moved on, only to be hit with a rude, confrontational text message from the rescue over a month later. It is completely unacceptable for a professional organization to sit on a communication for weeks only to resurface with hostility. This level of delayed, aggressive 'follow-up' shows a total lack of internal organization and basic courtesy. If they are this reactive and unprofessional with potential adopters, I have serious concerns about how they manage their records, their vetting process, and the placement of their dogs. A rescue's goal should be to build bridges to find dogs homes, not to burn them with petty messages weeks after the fact. It's a shame, as the dogs are the ones who ultimately suffer when a rescue is run this poorly.
