I don't have a last name. Erin was so knowledgeable, kind and patient. She took us through the entire facility. Everyone there was so kind. The staff members stopped to speak with us and the individuals living in that facility were up and about, laughing and having a great time. I have been to other facilities and the individuals living there were just sitting around doing absolutely nothing. At Arbor Terrace it was a great deal of fun, togetherness and interactions going on. We were looking for a facility of my nephew's mother, but to be honest, I would put myself in that facility. The staff members and the individuals living there have a great relationship. It was fantastic.

Shortly after arriving at the facility, he developed rage and combative tendencies. The facility paired with his team of doctors and got the situation under control. During his stay, I am well aware that he was the patient from Hell. He was treated with such dignity and respect by all of the staff. The nurses are amazing people. They are experienced and intuitive. The staff are truly the best of humanity. I learned so many care tricks from them!! They are supportive to the patient and the family. Their social service person was responsive to all of my calls. Your decision as to where to put your loved one should be based on care. The pictures on the sites want to sell you on the amenities like dining rooms that you never use. It does not show you the hearts of the care providers. This place deserves so much more than the 5 stars that I am leaving.

The owner from the first day I met her was an angel and still is even though my brother is back to work now. The house is kept in tip top shape. The food is healthy and delicious. It is hard to find a place where you are confident to leave a loved one there. Not only is the owner a beautiful person but she is a Christian woman and it shows in her care for the elderly. I thank GOD for her and it would be the one place I would definitely take him back to without even thinking twice about it. Once she was comfortably settled into a very warm, caring, clean like home environment, she was treated as if she was there Mother. We never had a worry. I was referred to Harmony at Enterprise by an associate of the directors. After a week, I went to the website and scheduled an appointment for a Saturday at 12 p.m. No one contacted me to confirm, so that Saturday morning I called to follow up. The receptionist said she saw my name in the system and told me to come on in. I arrived seven minutes early and was greeted by the receptionist, who handed me a packet of information and asked me to sign in. I waited in the lobby for about 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time before the receptionist came over to explain that the manager on duty had not come to work and could not be reached. I thanked her for letting me know and left, assuming perhaps there had been an emergency. When I returned home, I went back to their website and scheduled another tour for the following Friday at 11 a.m. I even took the day off from work, thinking a weekday might be better. However, once again, I received no confirmation call or email. Two hours before the appointment, I called to confirm, and the receptionist again told me she saw my name in the system and invited me to come in. We arrived five minutes early and were warmly greeted by a different receptionist. She asked me to sign in and have a seat to wait for the manager. She was very pleasant--offering freshly baked cookies to residents and guests--and provided excellent customer service throughout. After 15 minutes, she informed me that she still couldn't locate anyone available for the tour but would go upstairs to locate someone. When she returned, she said she was unable to find anyone. I told her how much I appreciated her professionalism and that she had already gone above and beyond her duties. I explained the situation to her in full, and she was sincerely apologetic. She asked for another 10 minutes to try to reach someone, but by 11:35 a.m. she was still unable to find anyone. At that point, I thanked her again for her kindness and asked her to relay a message to her supervisor: it is extremely unprofessional that no one from sales or management came out to greet me or honor the scheduled appointment--not once, but twice. I took time off work and drove an hour from White Marsh, only to have my time and my family's time wasted both times, at Harmony at Enterprise.

THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE…read more Harmony may look nice, but they are intentionally misleading and do not genuinely care about your loved one. To them, residents are just a number and a check. If your loved one needs anything above Level 1 care, look elsewhere -- you will not get proper help with major needs. They will nickel-and-dime you for every little thing on top of what you already pay, and treat your loved one like a burden instead of a human being.

From day one, the staff treated my dad like family, showing genuine compassion and care. He received daily showers, three daily home-cooked meals, and plenty of activities like Bingo, singing, and group exercises. The staff checked on him regularly, even overnight, and allowed personal touches like his recliner and a bird feeder outside his window. When his health declined, they worked seamlessly with hospice to ensure his comfort and dignity. The facility is warm, welcoming, and far from the sterile feel of many others I visited. Every staff member went above and beyond, and it gave me tremendous peace of mind knowing my dad was so well cared for. If you're looking for a place that truly treats residents like family, Bowie Assisted Living is it. Five stars all the way.
