I attended a friend's birthday brunch at Re:Rooted Wine Bar, and it was absolutely perfect!. The staff was friendly and attentive, making everything feel seamless. Highly recommend this spot for any special occasion!
What an amazing little winery in the heart of downtown! I was walking by the Hemisfair park with my family and found this little wine spot just next to an ice cream shop. They had plenty of indoor space, but since we had a puppy with us decided to sit out on their patio. The staff was super nice and welcoming, and immediately explained the menu to us. I loved that they have a lot of Texas wines, so it is a nice way to get a taste of the hill country without traveling out of town. Since it was a warm day, we decided to go for a glass for their rosé. The wine was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for. During my time there I also noticed they were giving some wine classes. PSA for all the mamas out there, they have baby changing stations and their bathrooms are super clean and spacious (no need to go to the public bathrooms). Thank you to the ReRooted 210 team for an amazing time. Can't wait to come back and try more items from their menu!
I love a good urban winery, and ReRooted210 fits the bill perfectly! Located right next to the Hemisfair parking garage, ReRooted is a little slice of heaven! My daugher in law and I shared a bottle of Riverwalk red wine ( you get a discount on your next bottle if you bring the bottle back for a refill). They do have food, but we didn't order anything since we had just had lunch. Service was friendly and enthusiastic. I am so glad that ReRooted is close to us...saves us a ride to Fredricksburg!
If you're up for delicious wine ... well look no further! This place is an Urban Winery and there are some great options. It's truly an awesome vibe and ambiance. It's nestled in the lovely downtown area of SA. To top it off, the superior service doesn't skip a beat! Get out here and check it out. Huge plus they even offer a Military discount,
I found this place by chance and I'm glad I did. Loved the wine tasting, atmosphere and staff. I chose the dry flight. It was four tastings for $10. Two white and two red. We all agreed the river walk was the best of the four. The wine is on tap. You can also buy a bottle to go. The tasting room has plenty of seating. I did notice a back room where there was a small party going on. It really has wine room vibe to it. The hemisfair parking garage is right next to it. The parking fee isn't outrageous. It's per hour and reasonable
I am so happy that ReRooted is near my home. The wine is so good and the service is very chill and knowledgeable. It is woman owned and she is a bad ass! I am part of their wine club and it's a great deal. Definitely look into it if you are a wine lover.
After a nice dinner at the Chart House we took a short walk over to ReRooted and was pleasantly surprised and delighted with our decision. There were a couple of regulators sitting there and the vibe was super friendly when we walked in. The modern decor is amazing and the story behind it...... well you'll have to stop in and ask for yourself. This is a really neat concept as you buy your wine in a growler bottle that can be used again and you get a small discount when you bring it back. I will not spoil the experience for you, I will merely suggest that if you like wine and enjoy urban wineries, try it out, you will really like it and probably go back and more than likely join their wine club too.

Amazing customer service and loved the staff for explaining that each wine we tasted. Highly recommend the House Malbec and the Counoise Rosé.

So I won't attempt to cover some of the material in the other reviews: Jennifer's resume Re:rooted's genius origin story I won't even talk about the wines ... the staff does an amazing job about that. Instead... I'm going to say a growler??? Heck yeah sign me up! They have cider and mead as well as wine. That's a little more my speed. But really... I want to obsess about these olives. The marcona almonds were good too ... but I've had good almonds at other places. These olives will transport you. I ate the first one and it was smoky, it was smooth, a faint brine / pickle... almost like a caper. It's like everything else faded into the void and it was just me and these precious olives and almonds. I ate them together... gorgeous. I stuffed an almond into an olive... split it in the process... not so inspired lol. I came to the hemisfair for Diwali. My son wanted to hang out with friends and my wife and I agreed that I should give them space but lurk on Life 360. I had some of the spicy festival food and thought some alcohol would be good to dissolve the capsaicin. The reviews for Re:rooted were phenomenal so I decided to get a wine flight and to check it out. I was a little snacky so the olives and almonds seemed right. They stole the show... don't pass them up if you come. Reading some of the other reviews and knowing what parking is like. I would recommend having Re:rooted as an add on to a festival or a nice dinner at LaVillita or the Tower (Charthouse). It can be a destination rather than an add on for Tuesday evenings as Downtown Tuesdays is free parking in city lots after 5 pm.

Really enjoyed ReRooted! The only wine tasting place in SA that is inclusive of Texas wines! The atmosphere is super chill and the employees behind the bar are super knowledgeable about the wines. The wine club is awesome. I love structure of the wine club. ReRooted is environmentally conscious offering a thermal carafe to refill your wine club purchase. I have and will continue to recommend this place. AND they have 2 hour validation in the parking garage!
We walked over after dining at Dough and it was jammed packed! They also had a bridal party in a little side room, so lots going on. Even with that, the bartender took good care of us as we had to sit outside. I normally like sitting outside, but this area seems like an afterthought and like you're not part of the party. They came and got us when there was space inside, so we still had a fantastic time. When it cleared out, it really cleared out! We started with a sampler and loved all of them. My friend is a member and by the end of our time there, I joined also! All the wines were so delicious. Also, the owner was walking around greeting everyone...I always like that, as it makes you feel valued. read more

This is a kind of out of the way location near an active tourist site in San Antonio that is peaceful and serene while being close to all the action. The beverages are created on site from grapes and other items grown elsewhere. The wine was okay. The 2023 Pedernales Vermentino was a favorite. Service was outstanding even in a region known for good service this place is a standout. read more

Such a beautiful ambiance! The wines are delicious, and they offer a great selection to choose from. My husband and I love coming here for special occasions -- it always feels like such a wonderful experience each time we visit. We most definitely recommend it! read more

Saw someone commenting on this place online and read that it was owned by a woman, so I wanted to support. It's welcoming. Clean. And a good size place. I tried the dry wine tasting. The woman helping was friendly and knowledgeable and showed she loved her job. I was impressed by how conscious she is with being eco friendly. I definitely will be back. read more

Love the vibe here! It is a great place for to spend time with friends with some wine. Also date place for wine lovers. Service is amazing and the staff are friendly. Love the owners. Great variety of wines to try from white, pink, and red. I'm not big on wines but I do appreciate the flavors and smoothness with some of their white wines. Cannot go wrong for a mimosas for a Sunday afternoon. Their single cheese and meat tray is delicious and well styled. You can choose a variety or meat and cheese to enjoy. I got salami and Brie! So good! Definitely bringing friends here for dine done Wednesdays read more

Cute new spot in hemisphere park! It's a little hidden, tucked into a corner of a building, away from the playground. There's a few outdoor tables, but the majority of the space is inside. It's nice and open inside with glass walls that fill the room with natural light. The owner was very friendly and offered us a full complimentary tasting. She bestowed us with knowledgeable about the wine, telling us about the grapes and how their flavors incorporated into each final product. Their wine is made locally in Fredericksburg, and many of them hold the honor of a having a San Antonio name. It was very enjoyable learning about the drinks. And they were delicious!! We ordered a charcuterie board and the cheese was perfect! Each cheese had a complimentary dipping sauce. Ah, they were all great combos. Next time I'll ask about a meatless option. You can purchase either a glass or growler. And they're reasonably priced. The menu includes the tasting notes of each wine, which I greatly appreciated. They're still relatively new and said they'll be adding more options in the future. We had a great time here, and we look forward to coming back and enjoying more local wine. read more

We had been eagerly awaiting their opening, that, like so many other businesses, got delayed in the past year. It's a bit difficult to nail down an all-encompassing descrition of what's going on here, but here goes: -custom crush urban winery featuring ALL TEXAS wines. If you're new in town and considering a US 290 wine trail trip, START HERE! An amazing amount of knowledge to be had regarding, varietals, production techniques, and personalities in the Texas Hill Country wine scene. Can't think of too many other folks bringing Jennifer's years of experience and general wine knowledge to the community in a way thats approachable/informative regardless of your prior background as a wine consumer. -neighborhood wine bar with a selection that, while not in the dozens in terms of selection, has something that should be pleasing for just about every palate, regardless of your "usual favorite". The cheese/charcuterie plate available makes for a great addition also! -retail wine outlet featuring eco-friendly reusable growlers for everyday use as well as kegged wines for larger gatherings/events. At some point in the future, they're planning to have offerings from other Texas wineries on hand as well. -winery tasting bar with a couple different "wine club" experiences available. Wine education seminars are also on the longer term horizon. read more

ReRooted is located in a new building on the Hemisfair site. Parking can be a bit tricky. Don't use the adjacent surface parking lot, like I did, but instead use the parking garage that is part of the building that ReRooted is located in. Much cheaper and I understand that ReRooted may validate your parking. ReRooted 210 represents something of a new concept. I have watched owner/solemner/wine maker Jennifer Beckmann's career over the past ten years. She has been involved in setting up several fine wineries in the Hill Country (among her many accomplishments). Now she and her husband are setting out on a new and, I think, relatively new concept. Recently opened, ReRooted features wines that Jennifer has blended and produced from Texas grapes. As such, these wines are only available at this location. Instead of bottling the wine, it is stored in recyclable casks and dispensed much like draft beer. Much friendlier for the environment. In addition to dispensing wine by the glass you can purchase the wine in reusable bottles much like growlers for beer. When finished, bring the bottles back for a credit on your next purchase. The space consist of a bar for dispensing wine, an airy modern seating area and some adjacent outdoor seating. Wine: We tried the sampler of I think six different wines and I was very impressed. The wines were well crafted and I think very similar to European style wines that I have had in the past. Food: Food is limited to a very nice cheese and charcuterie plate and I believe one other selection that we did not try. A great place to meet with friends and enjoy some very nice Texas wine. read more

LOVE the place!! The owner, Jennifer, is a wine connoisseur I would identify myself as an intermediate wine drinker. Was a bit apprehensive about urban wineries. However, from the initial meet, I can tell that Jenn is knowledgeable! She knows and understands regional wine and will give you recommendations based on your experience with wine and drinking preferences! Stumbled across this local spot in SA. Did not disappoint. Sweet & Dry Wine tasting and Charcuterie options as well. Wine was delicious, Staff was super kind & friendly. Female owned and they are Eco friendly! Great spot for a date night or friends get together spot. I will be back again!! read more
