We made our introductions and I asked if he was the store owner. He proudly yet with a humble tone said he is. The old Buchard's Jewelry Store. They do buy clothes as long as it's what he is looking for at that time. We are going to bring in some Vintage Coogi shirts we have so that he can check them out. I looked at the prices and they are reasonable when you are taking into account store front, over head and time and effort to curate and hand pick the clothes. Lots of variety, collectibles, antiques, instruments, toys, and just about anything you could be looking for. Talking to the owner I found out that he had recently bought out the previous owner and was getting things organized and cleaned up. I was impressed with the wooden masks and assorted carvings they had; most were very high quality and vintage. The back room has a wide variety of items, from the usual flea market trinkets to really nice items. I found a really cool walking stick with a hatchet head, it was unpriced and the owner was great about negotiating a fair price. Overall I was very impressed with the variety and selection at Second Chance, well worth the drive. The new owner was very friendly and willing to deal. If you are looking for something vintage or antique go and check them out.
