I've been buying the Top Superoll for about the past 4 or so years. I enjoy the flavor of the menthol tobacco. Unfortunately, this past year or so, the papers included with the pouch of tobacco always have severely curled glue edges on the papers. Very difficult to pull off only one paper at a time. I buy top tubs and two injectors for the tubs. The tubs are great good quality and quantity for the price. But the injector sucks won't work half the time. End up destroying tubs. And won't hold the tubs on. Also camt grip it to inject the tub. To start ots rounded not square. Then there is no room to put the tub on. And it tells you to pack it in with he packer and it won't inject so I have to leave it loss and the hot ember on the end falls off and burns you or what ever furniture your sitting on. Don't buy it. I recently purchased a T2 rolling machine. It's the third one I've owned. The first two worked as expected and lasted years, so no complaint there. This last one worked better than any of em at first, but after a couple months (if that long) it won't hold the tube while filling it. At first it was intermittent but now it's every time. I'm highly disappointed and have wasted a LOT of tubes over this. Unfortunately I lost the receipt so returning it isn't an option. I'll try another one once. And retain the receipt this time. The dating information on the package is 14085y1/1137. My first pack of this brand and it was so dry I could roll cigarettes with it. and mine was made 100% in the USA. It is 2018, and haven't seen the 'new bags' with the bold warning label in Maryland until yesterday. The warning is printed on 1/3 of the bags nowI have been going through this since 2009 after Obama destroyed the RYO tobacco industry, and Martin Omalley prevented me from a natural blend I had shipped to my home from Pennsylvania. I also called Republic Tobacco L.C. (thanks to Frank G in 2015) and was told they were unaware of any change and that I 'may or may not be correct' that the old bags I had laying around said 'american tobacco', and this foreign and american' reblending smells like dirt, tastes like dead, moldy leaves, and is harsh. I've used this replacement )Premier) for the last 10 years, and Republic tobacco thought we wouldn't notice the change? It's NASTY! In 2009, Obama pushed pipe tobacco(hack!) as an alternative, and eCigs (yuck), and told me I couldn't get my natural brand from 'Custom Blends' brand (now 7 Rivers) shipped to my State (MD) with USPS. Martin Omalley banned me from using UPS, FedEx, or ANY delivery service. The search for a solution took 2 years, and a special arrangement to replace my natural blend, but taste and feel the unhealthy difference. They legislated me to inferior tobacco or pre-made store shelf big brands, or this nasty crap !! I searched for years and settled on The Premier brand (mfg by Top), and special order it in my area. I thought TOP SUPEROLL Premium Cigarette Tobacco was the best value when I started making my own cigarettes in 2003. It was finely shredded making it fluffy and easy to stuff in a tube, and had little to no waste. It had a nice aroma and smoked well. Recently I purchased a bag of SUPEROLL that wasn't a fluffy shredded tobacco but a compacted shake. The last 10 to 20 percent being DUST I had to throw in the trash. The tobacco smelled like it had been cured in a horse barn. The cigarettes were hard to draw on and they wouldn't burn even. I thought this was a fluke, I had just run across and old bag that had been setting on the store shelf to long. Several bags later I know it isn't a fluke but a pattern. NEW BAGS AND NEW BAD TASTE AND SMELL. its so bad I went and found some of the older stuff in the old bags. going to find a company to test this stuff they call tobacco. its so bad now it burns my eyes to stick my nose in the bag to smell it. and it tastes even worse than it smells.wow just noticed a tiny sticker they are putting on bags of tops cigarette tobacco. there is only 5% American tobacco and 95% foreign stems and twigs. and this includes gambler tobacco also. found some older bags and no sticker but says proudly made in the USA. now even with the sticker saying how much foreign junk is mixed in with the 5% American tobacco it still says proudly made in the USA. WTF. I called republic tobacco and they told me that the tobacco plants not the tobacco are foreign. so I guess they ship live tobacco plants from foreign countries to grow here. what a load of crap. if they were doing that then they would not have to say how much and from where it came from. the quality of there tobacco has been going down fast lately. now we know why. I have been smoking there brand for years so its not like this happened overnight. THIS IS HOW THEY MAKE MORE MONEY. by using cheap foreign tobacco. I am done with there junk!. I was having the same problem as Bill W. from Portland. I called Republic Tobacco at (847) 832-9700 and spoke with customer service. They're aware of a problem with the tubes not filling all the way. They told me to turn it over and find the small cam that activates the tube holding arm. At the apex of that cam there's a nut that holds it together. They told me that using a pair of pliers to turn that tiny little nut clockwise just a tiny bit. So I gave it about 1/8 of a turn and that solved the problem. Hope this helps. read more

I buy this brand even though it has 5 less than it competitors, because I prefer the all white tubes were the competitors have an ugly gold ring around the filter. I purchased a 1lb. bag of Gambler Gold recently that contained 2 white bird feathers, and a corner off of a ketchup packet. I took it back to the store and was told, "Sorry, no returns". I purchase this product often and have not had any issues until now. The last bag I bought had some type of green canvas or ribbon shredded with the tobacco, as if someone's clothes got caught up in the shredder! I had to throw away a nice handful to keep from rolling it up and smoking it! Any comments on what this was?
