The service here is so hit or miss. Sometimes they do great, other times they don't come both days, then have the nerve to charge an "overfilled" charge when the dumpster is overflowing. How is that my fault when you've repeatedly not done your job? Called yesterday to inform them that their guys stopped in front of my business, then kept driving without pickup up trash. I told the customer service guy that I needed it picked up because this weekend would have me drowning in trash. They never came. I already have 10 trash bags on the ground because it won't fit into the dumpster, and my 2 busiest days will probably give me another 20-25 bags of trash on the ground, but they won't pick bags up off the ground. So when they come Monday and I have to pick up all those bags, my dumpster will be immediately full again. read more

If I could give a negative star, I would. This is not a service, it is a nightmare! After paying for three months of residential trash pickup, it was never done. According to the driver's log, there was no can at the curb on pickup day. I have to call him a liar because it was put at the end of my driveway EVERY WEEK! Update. I was a loyal customer of Republic Services waste service since 2002. They were BFI and then changed to the current name. Not only did they over charge me for months and threaten to skip my services when I had a credit on my account. They also skipped services for a week after a weather event but still charged me. Every other service in my neighborhood picked up that week. Now they are trying to charge me $58 for picking up their can because I finally had to change services when they never fixed my bill and had such poor service and customer service. Beware. I'd rate them a 0 if I could. They skipped over me and I called when I realized with in 30 minutes of them leaving to ask why. They had no answer and assured me they'd pick me up Wednesday. Wednesday rolled around and no one came. I called Thursday morning, they told me they were too busy Wednesday and pushed me to Thursday. Thursday afternoon They still had not shown, so I called. "we don't even close til 5 it is only 330 give them time." They never came! I called this morning to be told they pushed me to today and guess what....THEY NEVER SHOWED. i have not experience any customer service as bad/worse as republic trash pickup. for the last 18 months i have had to call them almost every 3 week because they have missed coming by. then they will not come by until the next schedule pickup day. horrible service. i have had to leave my trash container out for over 7 days to be picked up. i have requested to the home office (because they will not give you the local phone #) for a supervisor to call me but never have one time (after 12 requests) did a supervisor call. the company will only try to give you a $5 credit for missed pickup. also they will charge you $39 to pickup the container when you stop service. they should be glad you don't destroy it. terrible customer service. they don't care about their customers.poor, poor service. read more

If I could rate a zero I would. Upon moving to this area I was I interviewed and hired for a position they never posted for internal candidates to apply for. I worked for them for a month and get called into the operations managers office on a Tuesday afternoon and told that he had a guy come back from covid sooner than they expected and they now had too many employees so he had to let me go. There is zero communication from anyone at this company about anything. Yet the customers wonder why they have terrible service? One of the supervisors was great. She did all she could do with what she had. The other was stuck on himself and his answer for everything was always "Hell if I know?" Nothing surprises me about this place, when I interviewed I asked if there was any chance of being laid off. The answer was no! Then a month later I'm laid off and can't get any help from anyone there about obtaining information I need about the time I worked there. Think twice before using Republic Services. They are difficult to deal with and tack on fees when you cancel their services. Also they frequently missed my pickups. read more
