My daughter recently moved her furniture to a storage unit after selling her house and looking to buy a new one. Since she is single, and I'm retired, she enlisted my help getting moved. I was the primary contact for all moving issues. We used a different company (not Clean Slate) to move from her old house TO the storage unit. They were "decent" but I felt a little used and abused by their add on charges after the fact. I started looking for a different mover when it was time to move from the storage unit to the new home. All communications were via text. Clean Slate did meet another movers price and since they had so many 5 star reviews, I decided to go with them. There was one problem, they showed up an hour late. I considered giving them 4 stars due to showing up late, but that issue was offset by the quality of the two young men that did our move. Both guys were respectful and took good care of our possessions. They worked non stop for 4 hours. They even let this old man talk their ears off! I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

This towing service was assigned to help me with a roadside service issue. I finally called the roadside assistance customer service back, and they informed me that Mikes hauling and towing service had canceled the order without even telling me. They told her to "call back in 10 minutes and see if we can do it." Now remember I've been waiting for TWO HOURS thinking they were coming. My vehicle was running the entire time with the a/c on, so I ran out all kinds of expensive gas thinking Mikes was on their way. I had my son with me so I eventually left, while at the same time I'm sitting on hold for over an hour while they try to find me another towing service. It was thee worst experience after a long day at work.
