Upon some research I found I was paying $577.85 for a years subscription however my neighbor was paying only $296.73 and a friend was paying $409.18. We all get the same paper, the same number of days and have been subscribers for 9 years and longer. Why this huge discrepancy? Good luck trying to get any answers. I left numerous messages to Candy Grey, District Manager and sent an email to Jack Bungart, Editor in Chief and never heard back from any of them. Oh and by the way they no longer have an office anywhere! Maybe if they get enough complaints and cancelations someone will get off their couch and fix this inequity.

A really cute kid came to our door, so I caved in and tried once again and bought a subscription. We have received the paper less than 50% of the time. When we call to report it, the circulation dept. is very rude, never apologizing for the bad service-just saying, "we'll get one out to you.". I called today to cancel and request a full refund. I was treated to the same uncaring treatment. The person in circulation flatly asked, "do you want it to stop now or let it run out." REALLY??!! When I requested it to stop and asked for a refund, a refund was promised. So much for trying to support this business...

Unfortunately the cashier was slow as ever and it easily took 20 minutes of waiting 3rd in line (!). Granted there was only one staff worker there, but that simply means that management up there in the higher reaches of GameStop should be adjusted. Hopefully this two star rating can wake them up even if it's just one simple read!

Avoid this place at all costs! I traded in an old Xbox, three controllers, and several games and…read moreused the store credit to purchase what I was told was a brand-new PS5 controller. When I got home, I noticed the packaging was torn in multiple places and the original factory seal had clearly been removed and replaced with a different sticker. The controller's color also didn't match what was shown on the box. I immediately returned to the store to exchange it, only to be told they wouldn't allow a return or exchange because I had opened the box--even though it was obvious the package had already been opened before I bought it. (The two ladies acknowledged and admitted it was ripped when they sold it to me and claimed the multiple tears on the box were from putting it on the sales rack - which is an absolute joke). The only option offered was another trade-in for $15 on a controller I had just purchased for $79.99 less than two hours earlier. It's clear I was sold a pre-owned or previously opened controller as new, and GameStop refused to stand behind the product. I feel completely taken advantage of and ripped off and will not be shopping here ever again. Buy your games elsewhere--this place is a rip-off and doesn't stand behind what it sells. Try Walmart or Target they will still be in business years from now and will let you return/exchange - unlike GameStop.

Met Kevin, the Owner, who's been in business since the heyday of collecting in the 80's. He was extremely helpful, friendly, and didn't mind taking time to answer questions, which I had plenty of since the collecting industry had changed so much since I stopped. Over the next 3 years I bought numerous hobby products from Kevin. When COVID hit in 2020, the industry went crazy and caused prices to skyrocket. Kevin remained true and offered prices well below what he could of asked for at the time. I asked him about it and he told me he'd seen numerous highs and lows in the industry, and he wanted to take care of his loyal customers who would always come back. I have a great deal of respect for Kevin, and while I have stopped collecting new cards (I just purchase vintage), I still stop by from time-to-time to say hello. He no longer sells sports cards because the distributors got too greedy, and he didn't want to pass those excessive costs to his customers. He still sells comics though, and he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with anyone who stops by. It's a small shop and if he doesn't have something you're looking for, he has years of connections and will either find a way to get it or point you in the right direction. If you're in the area, stop on by and take a look. You'll feel welcomed and want to come back. Not enough places like this anymore.
