If you are handicapped please be warned that there is stairs here and no handicap access. There aren't many good finds to be honest or variety of selection of products. This store is overpriced with a very small selection. They had a few sale items like old unpopular…read moresized jeans for $1; however many of the items would not be considered "vintage". They have many items on par with typical Goodwill donations, but for 3 times the price. For example, a $38 Sonoma leather jacket from Kohl's. Regarding service, the clerk clearly did not plan to speak to me. However, I kept eye contact until she was forced to acknowledge me. At which point she said hello and I replied in kind. The next customer who entered received a much more enthusiastic greeting that I did. Towards the back, a male clerk walked by me several times, but also didn't speak. Overall, it's a cute set up, but not worth the time or the consideration of spending money. Especially if they can't be bothered to speak.

Every week they have a sale on a specific colored tag to have extra savings. They hire adults with special needs that work there, which they call "Stars." It is so sweet! The front area of the store is dedicated to clothing and accessories, the back has a bunch of household items. I LOVE shopping here! So happy they expanded and opened a new location.

Sharing Connections provides furniture and household items for low-income families, helping them make their houses or apartments feel like homes. Most of these families are coping with a major crisis such as domestic violence, homelessness, job loss, or a financial crisis. This is an opportunity for community members to show gratitude for their own blessings by helping someone who could use a little extra help. Because they respect the dignity of the families they serve, they want to give them furniture they'd be proud to have in their homes. This means that they only accept items that have been gently used. Items that are not soiled or broken. I recently assembled dressers that were provided by financial donations to Sharing Connections. A great way for anyone to spend their time. There are lots of ways to help. --your money, your unused belongings, or even just your time.

The donations are impeccably checked for cleanliness, chips, holes and working order. There are some awesome deals to be had. By the way, Goodwill is much higher priced and lacks the discretion of the Gingham Tree. Go find out for yourself and you will not be disappointed. There are special sales each week from books to dishware to clothing. The Gingham Tree is located on the south side of Good Samaritan Hospital.

There's a large selection of books, most 3.00 and under, mass market paperbacks 50 cents, and periodically there are good old ones from the 50s or 60s. Some items are cheap. Some are costly. They also sell the very high priced stuff online, but there's still plenty of great stuff in the store itself. The bathrooms are old but super clean and not creepy like in some places. There are real antiques, beautiful furniture, art works, plastic storage tubs, all kinds of glassware, figurines, etc. Don't listen to the complainers. I go whenever I can and almost always find something I want.

I'm not sure if I'll make the trek again for a second chance. I had high hopes, but ultimately, this place just didn't live up to them. Still worth a try. I did find that the employees just sat around on their phones so I couldn't get a feel of who they are. One actually scolded me for trying to pick up and item
