First and foremost, I have had a bad experience here in the past, but the owner Brandon stepped up to make it right. He reached out to me and was more then helpful in getting my screen repaired and it didn't take long at all. I have read other reviews on here and as someone who appreciates going to a small business with my issues, it's nice to see a owner step up and take responsibility for his store. The old staff that caused the issues are not there which made a huge difference. And remember when reading a post or review your only getting half the story. This is not your average 5 star review! About 3 weeks ago, we brought my son's I Phone 6 in to repair the screen. Turns out, it needed a new digitizer and home button as well. One of the parts had to be ordered - no big deal. We get the phone back but had to bring it back in for whichever part they were waiting on, but they WERE able to get it useable in the meantime. So, it was taken apart a few times before the repair was complete. Fast forward 2 or 3 weeks. Son taps phone lightly and screen cracks again - apparently there was pressure somewhere. Long story short, the employee (who is obviously knowledgeable about phone repairs) was initially not very helpful; but after speaking with the owner, he called us back, apologized for the inconvenience, informed us that the phone was ready, explained how the problem occurred, and even offered up some very helpful advice. We are big supporters of local businesses and this is one we will return to - especially for accessories. All phones are now outfitted with Otter Boxes (from here) so hopefully no more repairs are needed! Great place, knowledgeable staff, and dependable owner. Highly recommend ESPECIALLY after my experience, I can say you can trust them. read more

First let me start by saying that I've gotten a phone repaired here previously with absolutely no problems. I recently shattered my iPhone 7 screen on a work trip from Montana and I needed to get it fixed asap. This was somewhere around May 20 I had brought it in to get fixed. I left that day and driving home I noticed the screen was completely black through polarized glasses (Costas for reference) I called the next day and explained to the guy currently at the shop and he told me the guy that worked on my phone doesn't come in until the afternoon and I'd have to wait because he isn't trained on iPhone 7 screens yet. I politely agreed to just wait and see him that afternoon when he got there. When I visited I explained everything that was going on and he said that he would contact the distributor and figure out what they could do. I also explained to them I travel a lot for work and there's no way to never look at my phone and just be okay with the screen. By chance, the owner walked in and I explained everything to him as well. He made the comment to the guy to just order me an original screen and call me when it came into put it on. I agreed and gave him my contact number and asked if I could keep the phone with me until then. 4 or 5 days later I had called to check the status and he said he thought about it the day or two before but didn't have my number. I was a little annoyed but just decided to leave it alone. I went in again with my boyfriend to drop my phone off a couple days later when I had free time. He called that afternoon for me to come pick it up and we got there around 7ish. I checked everything and it still did the same thing (because they in fact did not order an original) so he changed the screen a couple times while we waited. We came to the conclusion that the screen protector helped a little and left that on until he can contact the distributor again. We left and went back to Destrehan and my phone started wigging out(I'm assuming because he changed screens so fast while we waited), so I called before they closed at 8 and explained what was going on, he said he could stay open a little later if I wanted to bring it back. I declined and told him I had things I had to do and could just come the next day on Friday. He said he wouldn't be there until Monday and the other guy didn't know iPhone 7s. I just said okay well I'll figure something out. I took it to a different place in Destrehan (which was half the cost and less time). I had that guy take the screen off and put it in the protective package to return to repair dat. Today when I tried returning the screen he told me he would have to contact the owner to see because the warranty voids if the customer or someone else works on it. So I explained that I wasn't going to be without a phone for a weekend until he was back so I needed to do something. He said they've ordered a specific screen for my phone and called and left a message. I told him I never got a message and confirmed they in fact called my boyfriends phone. I told him that he was in Mexico on a cruise and that's why I had no idea and wondered why he contacted him instead of the number I originally gave him. He insisted that he'd have to talk to the owner so I said okay as I waited a few minutes for them to text back and forth. I then told him I had to leave and asked if he could call me and he agreed. I just got a phone call that the owner is not budging on giving me a refund for the screen (even though originally they'd said they could refund the screen but not the labor. Which I understood because they can't get their time back, but neither can I). I said okay and hung up. I've had one really great experience here and one really terrible one. This time it's costed me $230 for a screen that didn't work and service that was below par. Go at your own risk. read more
