The Puffin's Nest store in Damariscotta was the only store that did NOT have sanitation supplies at the door and the two women working or present behind the counter were not wearing masks. I am very disappointed that they are not cooperative in efforts to keep people safe and stop the spread of Covid-19. I guess some still think this is a hoax or it is their right not to wear a mask, although I believe it is the law now under the Governor's executive order to be open right now. Again, very disappointed with this store. Just thought folks should know if they are shopping in the area.

The owner and staff are nice and friendly, the store itself is clean, cheerful, and well-organized - and there are often a few good deals to be had. I think the prices are fair and I've bought some quality pieces there. From how another shopper gushed about it when I was there last time, it seems that the people who consign their stuff at Consigning Women are loyal fans of this shop. I just wish they had were open every day, and at least until 5pm.
