We then went inside and were told there is no one able to do a return at the service desk so it's closed for the night, but we could stand in line where there "is a bit of a wait" to see if a cashier knew how to do a return. No thanks we aren't waiting in line on the of chance one of these people MIGHT knows how to do a return. After twenty years in retail myself, I understand staffing issues and training issues but NEVER have I been in a store this size where there wasn't someone competent enough to complete a basic return. There is evidently enough staff for the Team Lead Jordan and three others to stand at self checkout and chat amongst themselves, and for someone else to sit in the dark in customer service on her phone, and someone else to stand at the door and stare at everyone who walks out, but not enough staff to do a return. Cheap tacky and…read morevery cool Big Al's is sort of a famous place. Located right on RT 1 and impossible to miss, everyone that goes through here sees Big Al's and I suspect most people have stopped in, at least once. Look up the words "tourist trap" in the dictionary and you'll probably see a picture of Big Al's. Big Al claims he has over 10,000 items and although I've never counted, it's easy to believe. There's stuff piled up in front of the store and piled in heaps or hanging on the walls or from the ceiling inside. Weird, unique and incredibly strange things every place you look. Yeah, most of it is cheap and tacky. The usual souvenir stuff, crummy T-shirts and hats, cheap mugs, refrigerator magnets, weird garden thingies, toys and beach stuff and of course the "as seen on TV" crap. A great place to find cheap and tacky souvenirs for cheap and tacky friends and family members and In between the heaps of cheap and tacky crap there are some interesting and cool things, you just have to look for them. And that's part of the fun of this store. Big Al's is a cool and fascinating place. You can even get free coffee while you dig through the piles of stuff. The type of place where you just might find a hidden gem or something really cool. But then again sometimes cheap and tacky is just what I'm looking for.

All of the clothes are cheap nasty material that nobody wants, certain things have been there since last fall. It's truly pathetic! Their bathrooms are an absolute dumpster fire. ALL THE TIME. Don't even get me started on their idiotic parking lot and the drivers that park there. None of these customers have any right to even have a drivers licenses. Everybody is arrogant and entitled. I can't even tell you how many times the handicap parking is invaded by non handicap people that don't have any compassion. The only saving grace this store has is that they have the new Alpine Blast Poppi soda in stock and their door greeters are the nicest people in the world. That's it. They have 4 parking spots just for their store, and there is other parking nearby. They do not have a public restroom, that is at the bottom of the hill they're on. They do charge a card fee.
