Avoid this place! I rented a car for 3 months (Jan-Apr '25). The car was a bit of a wreck to start with. The front end was slightly disconnected and there were lots of "dings". Most of their cars have seen better days. I incurred NO damage while I had the car. Today (9 days after returning the car), my credit card was charged $1247 for damage repair! This is the damage they are claiming. I am a 79 year old woman. I guess they see me as an easy mark.

Closer to a 2.5 than a 3 star rating. Every time I came here there was a long wait. Some of the workers could use customer service training, mainly the women. The two men that were working up front whenever I came in for the past three months have been on point and know how to check in on a customer while there is a long wait. One woman in particular has terrible customer service skills and does not do well under pressure; she would get impatient with people that came in and definitely needed help. Aside from understaffing/letting employees go too early in the day (usually there's only one employee left at the last hour, and all the other employees are still there but off the clock), I would say that it's a decent company. Their cars are a bit dingy and not as clean/well kept as bigger rental companies, but they ARE a budget rental company, you get what you pay for. I rented a 2014 Prius C for 12 weeks and after all the fees and taxes, it came out to $1997.99. The car seats were dirty, had a weird smell, and there were dents and dings all over, but it did the job. It's also very hard to find a hybrid car to rent these days, so that was a major bonus to me. During my time renting the car, I had to bring it in once to get it's routine service done. I do appreciate them letting me drop it off to avoid going over the mileage allowance, but I had to come back a few days after picking up the car to pick up the new registration sticker. Wish they would have told me that was coming in so I could have just picked it up at the same time, since Clairemont is a bit out of my way and I had to spend more miles and gas picking up the sticker. The first day I picked up my car I was told that they could accommodate me with a Lyft ride to pick me up at Enterprise so I could drop off my old rental. I tried telling the woman who was helping me during the paperwork process so she could schedule one as we waited, but she insisted on waiting until after the paperwork was done. Lo and behold, by the time the paperwork was done they were closing and she couldn't schedule the Lyft on the company phone. However, the gentleman that was helping her said he could reimburse me for whatever I paid for my Lyft if I e-mailed them a screenshot. That was thoughtful, however I never received my reimbursement. Overall, I would recommend renting from Renty, just be prepared to wait and always have open communication with the employees. If you just follow their guidelines that are posted everywhere and be mindful of your miles and service dates, it's a good way to save money.

Nice people, nice car, fair price...The waiting area has nice chairs. The car was pretty red. I hope I am at 85 or soon i'll be dead

They gave for the same price but the truck wasn't ready so we had to wait for it to get cleaned. The mileage total was under 60 miles and he told us to refill the tank and keep the receipt to show, but since it was so few miles it wouldn't really move from the full line. We drove 57 miles total and we stopped to put gas in and kept the receipt. At 11.10 the handle clicked off. The needle wasn't showing full and so we TOOK a video for proof that showed we were trying to put gas in and the handle kept clicking off as if it were full. He wouldn't even look at it when we arrived to try to explain. He agreed to take the truck to the gas station, so we avoided the extra 40.00 feet, but when we arrived at the gas station after making a u turn to get there, he was able to put another 30 dollars in and then charged us for the 30.00 in gas and the additional 40.00 fee. Overall service was poor, no willing to accommodate or even hear us when we were trying to show there was an issue. Ended up paying way more than we should have for this truck. If we were negligent or lazy in doing our part I would understand the paying extra. but that was not the case and still paid way more than we should have. Would absolutely not recommend this rental.
