Our original San Diego Airport Budget car rent option was a great deal not realizing via priceline per Budget agent at the airport our reservation was near the mexican border. UGH! Searched for low cost long term car rentals and this had good reviews. We need for nearly a month in April, called them last minute and they took care of us. Christina office manager and Olivia were great. Car in April was an older 4 door Hundai, little noisy but was good for our needs and cant beat the price $625. This was a great help for me when I was in town for the summer and needed a car temporarily. The prices are super reasonable, the staff was responsive and friendly, and it was a great experience overall. The cars themselves aren't fancy but they drive fine and that's all I can ask for. When there was an issue with the tire on the car I rented, they assisted me in getting it fixed and it was a quickly rectified issue. She said our cars are about three to five years old and are in excellent condition. I really don't need a brand new rental car. I saved easily a few hundred dollars compared to the usual car rentals at the airport. My four year old car was in great running condition. It had 55K miles on it and ran beautifully. It was clean inside and out and the body was damage free. I recommend San Diego Car rentals if you want to save some bucks. These guys are awsome. This is my second time getting a rental from them. Monthly rental rates are affordable, and the office works with you if you need a little time with money for the next month. They are also quick to get you back on the road if you have any problems at all. I rented a car for over 3 months. In that time i needed the battery swapped out once. And then there was a leak another time, and I needed brakes changed another time. They got a tow out to me and gave me a loaner car until they fixed the car. Its great not having to worry about maintenance. All I had to do was call and say what was wrong and they handled it or sent me to the shop for maintenance. We just completed a very positive experience with Emil and this company. We rented a vehicle, which provided reasonable travel throughout our one month stay in San Diego. Unfortunately, I did not pay enough attention to the 28 day requirement and returned the car late. That was my error and Diane just charged me an additional fee. These cars are older, but seem to be very reliable. I plan to rent another vehicle when I come to visit this area again next year.
