My…read moreparents were reading the Singtao newspaper and saw a cruise ship deal. $2000 cdn per person (based on two people in the same stateroom)- 14 days return trip from Vancouver to Hawaii (several islands). This included gratuities, taxes and also an extra $100 spending money per person to use on the cruise ship. The cruise is with Princess. Wow! that was a really good deal. My parents took advantage of it (not me because I have work). Third and fourth person free if stayed in the same stateroom. I didn't want to go myself. My parents just ended up going together. Even though, we could have printed the tickets/boarding passes online. Long Long Vacation printed it for us and we went over to pick it up. They explained to my parents all the details about the cruise and what to watch out for and etc. They did a good job in notifying their customers about all cruise ship updates and what to watch out for. This is not the first time my parents were on a cruise. It was me who drove them to pick up the tickets. There is no need to worry about not being able to find a parking spot at this mall. Their deals are pretty good compared to what you find online.

The service provided by Rikki the tour leader was exceptional throughout the trip, as he made sure the needs of all the tour participants were well taken care of. Long Long arranged our airplane reservations to depart from San Francisco so that we did not have to depart from Vancouver, and also an additional flight to another destination after the cruise. The tour guides that Long Long utilized for the day excursions were multi-lingual, speaking English, Chinese, and native languages of the destination countries. Based on our positive experience with Long Long on this first cruise, we plan on booking other trips with them for the forseeable future.

My wife was communicating through one of their agents Tasha Panico to schedule a viewing for a home they were managing. They had agreed to show us the place on 6 PM on a Wednesday (6 days ago). Tasha had asked to move the date earlier to Monday at 6 PM but my wife was working a late shift at the hospital and didn't have a chance to reply to her email until the following day where my wife confirmed 6 PM would be okay (Tuesday). Tasha explained she was busy that Tuesday and left it at that in the reply email. We of course assumed the viewing would go ahead for Wednesday at 6 PM and my wife emailed back apologizing about not getting back sooner and emailed back to confirm again 6 PM on Wednesday. She did not get a reply back but we did not think much of it at the time. We got to the viewing early on the Wednesday, sent one more email and also text messaged her that we were there, still no reply. We phoned her once at 6 PM but still no answer and then waited around and still nothing. Unfortunately we never got another answer from Tasha explaining what happened even though there was never any indication to us that plans had changed. The unit was subsequently rented so our interpretation is that she felt there was no point in showing us the rental however a simple message telling us so would've sufficed and would have saved us the time involved in making our way down to the viewing and waiting around. Again I hope this is a one off or there were extenuating circumstances but I feel that as a professional organization, communication is very important, and we felt there was a communication breakdown dealing with Tasha, who had been a good communicator up until that point.
