We called Fencing Green Bay and the phone was answered almost immediately by Jake the owner. Within a day he was in our backyard replacing posts that had been snapped by the wind. He and his to helpers worked until two hours after dark to make sure the yard was secure for our two dogs. He returned the next morning to complete the job to better than new condition. He used phrases like "on the high side" and I can't imagine it being more than that," and made us feel assured that our budgeting was appropriate. Given that, we agreed to a deposit of $250 for him to go ahead with a formal quote, per company policy. When the proposal came back, it was $45K, which is more than double what we had discussed. While I understand that quality work and materials are costly, I don't understand how his verbal estimates were so grossly inaccurate, especially when he said he's been working there for 18 years. While I understand the deposit was intended to cover his time in gathering the estimates, and that he "doesn't work for free," a large part of his job is properly estimating potential costs for potential clients, and he did not do that. We agreed to the $250 deposit based on incredibly inaccurate numbers, and when I requested our deposit back, we were denied (twice.) While I don't think it was his intention to be deceptive, we felt swindled out of $250. I was very disappointed that they weren't willing to refund us.

The entire process took one week as there were multiple areas needing repair. The main project took only three days. Although the ordering process with the furniture supplier had some minor communication gaps, the quality of the workmanship more than made up for it. There was never an issue with any of Forever Bath team; they were very responsive and helpful. The installation crew's attention to detail created a beautiful bathroom remodel. There was no concern throughout the process that pricing would fluctuate. Services that I requested was: Central AC Unit on a existing home in which ducts and wiring was needed. Complete rewiring of the fuse box to accommodate a central unit and wiring was old as a previous electrician just kept tapping into other fuses instead of doing it right the first time. Complete new bathtub, in which a leak in the wall was found and Ted not only fixed where previous residents just put plywood covering a window he repaired flooring, wall, and covered the whole area on the outside with new siding. Moved outlet for dryer. I did my due diligence in getting estimates. Ridgeline was superior in pricing, follow-up, communication. Even after issues were found. Ted took the time to listen to my concerns and delivered hands down the best service I have ever received.
