She is a great masseuse. Very professional and really works your body to get rid of stress and muscle tension. Highly recommend.

This is hands down the best massage I've had in Reno! I requested a 90 minute deep tissue, and Brenda exceeded my expectations in every way possible. After a rather unpleasant experience at a reflexology practice in the Costco shopping district on Harvard Way, I opted to find an alternative massage therapist. I'm glad I was motivated to find someone new. She addressed the pain I was feeling in my right elbow with 10 minutes of deep tissue therapy by focusing on my upper right arm. The fascia build up in other parts of my body were also alleviated with her firm and targeted pressure. Brenda pointed out problem areas that I should work on, and recommended use of a foam roller to avoid fascia build up in other areas. I felt like I was walking on water upon completion of my 90 minute session. The location of her office was super convenient, and there is plenty of free parking available. Brenda will be my go-to massage therapist in Reno moving forward. I look forward to future therapy sessions! read more

When I first came to Brenda I was suffering from multiple issues including shortness of breath and a body that was just twisted in knots. I formerly was an avid mountain biker but was unable to ride at a consistent level with all I had going on. I let her know I was open to any options that she assessed I needed. That first visit, Brenda was shocked to see how much my sympathetic nervous system was misfiring. She described it as wound so tight that my body could not respond, it was in constant fight or flight mode and never backing off. We started with massage therapy but quickly moved into cogno movement therapy. Over a series of monthly visits I began to emerge from the dysfunction and could see it reflected in my mental outlook and physical well being. The first time we worked with cogno movement therapy in less than 5 minutes I gained extensive range of motion in an injured shoulder that was far greater than I had before the injury. I have maintained that range of nation ever since. We later spent two full sessions and I unwound physical and traumatic barriers that have left me feeling at the peak of health, physically and mentally. I have referred family to Brenda for both massage cognitive motion. She is extremely knowledgeable and customizes your care plan based on your needs. I had tried multiple different types of intervention and nothing had worked. Brenda found the actual root cause and addressed it resulting in me feeling better than I have in years. I am also riding at peak form once again, climbing with ease with little or no recovery time required! read more

I got lucky when I found Brenda on Yelp. The reviews on her services were spot on! She is an excellent masseuse, professional, thorough, friendly and I immediately felt comfortable with her. I had been experiencing experiencing neck pain for a couple of weeks and then it moved into my back. I called, left a message and she returned my call within a couple of hours and was able to squeeze me in the next day when she had a cancellation. Brenda immediately found my tension spots and did a wonderful job of working them out. I have been so tense that I scheduled another appointment for next week! I highly recommend her! read more

I can only tell you Brenda is like no other massage I've ever had. She has a healing and intuitive presence that will cause you to walk out a different person that you walked in. She began by holding on to my bare feet to "tune in" to me and align herself with where I was energetically. From that point on, I began to relax and not only physically feel better but heal. She asked me a few questions about my energy level and honed in on something emotional even though I had shared absolutely no personal details about myself. I told her I had enough energy for 10 women and she responded "maybe on the surface, but your body is telling me something deeper, something more profound..." I physically had pain in my trapezius and a numbness in my legs when sitting in bed. She told me about my SI joint being way off and that my sweet little body was "crooked as a stick". She could see by the way I laid on the bed. She is very gifted at what she does. She used cupping, vibrational forks, her gentle but also strong hands, her years of experience and her intuitive gift of listening to the human body and spirit. Thank you Brenda for sharing what you do. It has already helped me so much after one experience. I found Brenda's magical touch by reading other people's yelp reviews like this one. Thank you to the other Yelpers who take the time to write honest reviews; because of you all, I found Brenda and it's changed my life. read more

Brenda is truly gifted. I stumbled upon her business while doing a quick search on Yelp. The reviews don't like, folks! She was able to quickly pinpoint the problem and correct it. She is very intuitive and knowledgeable! I joked around that I was learning so much while she was taking care of my body but it is true! Not only was she able to get me aligned, she also walked me through how these issues can occur and how to avoid them. I felt totally comfortable with her and highly recommend you book with her! I walked out feeling like a new person. Thank you, Brenda! read more

I hurt my back a few weeks ago and it was seizing up while I was out of town. Thankfully I found Brenda who squeezed me in and tended to my muscular mess. Brenda was an excellent therapist and her services were reasonably priced for her talented hands. She is also a yoga teacher so she gave me a few simple stretching exercises. Her massage and those exercises have done wonders several days after the massage. I would definitely be here often if I lived in the area. read more

Brenda is very professional and experienced and the massage was very firm and strong. My shoulders and neck were so tight I was getting headaches, and I knew I needed to do something. After searching yelp I felt that Brenda would fit the bill. I needed someone who would really dig into the muscles and get the circulation moving. She did exactly that. The location is nice, in a historical old house. She also gave me the Internet introductory special for 65 dollars, which I found to be good value for this high quality massage. I had excruciating pain in my lower back. I searched the internet for a sports/massage therapist and the "Reno Massage Yoga" website popped up. After reading the reviews, I immediately called and left a voice message. Brenda shortly called me back and squeezed me into her schedule. She is truly amazing. She was very understanding of my situation and within a few minutes, identified what was causing the pain. She walked me through her every step and I immediately started to feel relief. I walked out feeling like a new man and had little to any pain. I can't thank and recommend her enough. I will be back for follow up treatments. Thank you Brenda!!! read more

A Reno must! As a bodywork therapist myself, I can truly say Brenda's work is the most compressive I've experienced. Not only is there strength in her hands but heart and intuition behind it. Have her work on (with) you for 2 treatments per week for 4 weeks in a row and watch your body, mind and spirit transform into the well balanced, self aware, self healing organism it was designed to be. Her dedication to continuing her education in the field of natural healing and body work is a resource worth it's weight in gold. read more

Me and my husband have both been here for her awesome Ayurveda Shirodara. She is absolutely amazing and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. The ambiance when you walk in is so peaceful and relaxing it feels like you've been transported to a place of magical solitude. She is very knowledgeable and at the same time very humble. I loved every moment and by the time I left I felt like a whole new person! 10/10 would recommend read more
