Also, when the table was dropped off, my husband left a "good faith check to show that we were serious about getting the table refinished. On February 9th, the check was cashed. I called Anthony a month later to find out the status on the table. Anthony had not started the table claiming there was sickness in the family and he had other customers he needed to take care of first. I called him again on April 15th to find out the status. He had not started on my table but said he would start today. Later in the day, he called me back with pictures of the disassembled table and quoted me a price $150.00 higher than the negotiated price. I refused to pay the newly quoted price and he said he would stick it with the rest of his unfinished inventory. Currently, I am without the table and also the money that was initially paid. I was told it should come in "about a week or so" after delivery of chairs. Chairs were delivered on 10-16-2024. I texted Christian on 10-25, 11-13, 12-9, 12-17, and 1-8-2025 asking about the part and to receive the additional stain. I called and left a message in November and my call was returned that after Thanksgiving he would get back to me. I left another message on (219)678-1141 on 1-13-2025.
