We agreed to proceed with the work so we could get the car back with working AC. Shortly after having the car back in our hands, we noticed continued AC issues. It never quite cooled as well as before. I called EuroHaus back to mention the AC needed to be rechecked after their initial work. The guys initial response on the phone was something along the lines of, "oh your evaporator core probably didn't need to be replaced" which he later denied saying when I went back in to drop it off to be rechecked. EuroHaus kept it for a few days and in the end said they could not find any issues with it and it was working fine as far as they could tell. Since then, the AC has continued to deteriorate and our experience shows it was never truly fixed. It seems EuroHaus incorrectly diagnosed the issue the first time around and performed costly unnecessary work. We paid 2000 to get working AC but did not get that. They offered to take the car back in and continue replacing more parts at our cost. At this point we have lost confidence and trust in EuroHaus's ability to perform the work so we're having to cut our losses and take it to another shop. Avoid this place. If you have to work with them for whatever reason, record any phone calls you have with them and make sure you get everything in writing.

They even paid for a Lyft ride to go pic up a rental car. The next day, I get a call, and there is a long laundry list of things my car (supposedly needs). Some of the things mentioned, I was aware of, but when they started talking about my oil pan gasket needing replaced and the engine coolant being like water, I was like, "No way!". For one, I could go into my driveway and see that there were no leaks where the car has parked for the last 10 years. Also, the weather had just been close to 0 degrees, so if my coolant were like water, my engine block would have froze up. I told them to just do the cleaning of the throttle body (but they were still charging $450 to clean it). When I got the car back, the first thing I did was check the coolant, and it checked at good for -10 degrees, so it was hardly like water! My car uses half a quart of oil between oil changes, and it has 140,000 miles, so clearly, whatever leak they thought they saw, hardly warranted a $1,000 gasket change! They did fix the code, and two months later, all is still good (that's why I'm giving them 2 stars and not 1). However, I could have paid $2,500 for a bunch of stuff that wasn't needed, so beware when they call you with the estimate!

The last time I needed it replaced, the auto parts shop did it for me, so I figured it'd be something easy. Firestone wanted to charge me $60 and refused to use my bulb (apparently it's against their policy). I went to Encinas and they were able to tell me when they could work on my car. Since it was the same day, I asked them to rotate my tires as well. I sat in their waiting area working on my laptop and they were done in under 30 minutes. I realized I hadn't asked how much they'd charge me and at the end, they refused to charge me anything! This kind of customer service is so unheard of nowadays. They've definitely gained a customer.
