I opted for the 90-minute new-client special, and wow am I glad I did! Alicia is a great masseuse, with even pressure and solid techniques. I was so relaxed when the time was up, I literally had to sit in my car for 15 minutes and get out of fuzzy land so I could drive home! I highly recommend Alicia. Love love love renew massage studio. I have been here twice and had amazing experiences both times. I have seen both Kris and Julez and I would recommend them both. Even though they both had different techniques, they were able to reach the same end goal - fix my wacked out back. I sit at a desk 50+ hours a week and also suffer from scoliosis. The combination of these two means I need to get my back worked on every few weeks to prevent lower back pain. Both of these ladies noticed immediately my scoliosis and were able to not only work around it but are in the process of helping me cope with it. The massages were a mixture of hot stone, stretching, and muscle movement -all wonderful and necessary things. They both continually checked to make sure the pressure was enough and that I was getting all I wanted and needed - talk about wonderful customer service! I've been going there over a year, 10 months of that while pregnant, and it's been a really great way to work out some tension. I like that the office is quiet and understated-- you aren't paying a premium for unnecessary details, but it is still pleasantly decorated and always smells like lavender. About half way through that I started bringing my husband in with me occasionally for a simultaneous massage with Andrew, and he reports to having had a great experience. Alicia has been my masseuse, and she is great, though taking some maternity leave soon. I look forward to experiencing massage with the others there while she is gone. Overall I've never had a single complaint about the service I have received here. The only suggestion I have is that they look at investing in a maternity-specific massage table. Once you can't lay on your back or belly, side-lying massage is the only option, and while it's still relaxing, it's not quite the same. read more

I'm in Denver for a conference - far from home and the familiar therapists at home, but my back was hurting from PT after knee surgery. I took the chance and looked on Yelp for someone. I did try a few that were more established on Yelp - but no answer... Alicia answered and fit me in that very same night. She is just getting started with Renew - it's not hard to find, but no signage and not much but a well-decorated & comfy room in an office building. But she has everything important taken care of: From start to finish - I felt comfortable and so well taken care of. And her technique is incredible. She'd find and work on those sore spots that I didn't even know I had - all the while asking if all was well. Was it ever.... Any regrets? Only that I got the hour instead of 90 minutes. I've been going to Renew on and off for the last three years - and each time I return, I'm amazed by how relaxing and wonderfully intense the massages are. I've tried to visit other studios a few times based what Denver neighborhood I'm living in, and no one beats Renew. I always see RheAnnon and she is amazing. Got a 60 minute massage from Ali and it was great. I was looking for a relaxing massage to relieve some tension, and she worked on all my problem areas and even provided some insight on the muscles that were problematic and possible causes. She was good at checking in on pressure, and seemed genuinely interested in making sure the massage delivered on what I was looking for. They are in an office building and at times you could hear some people walking above but it didn't interfere with the peacefulness of the space. I have seen Ali many times for acupuncture and she is awesome! I was skeptical the first time my wife suggested trying an acupuncture session. I went through a long bout of physical illness a while back and I was willing to try anything to feel better, even for an hour. I had really bad vertigo and nausea almost to the point I couldn't leave my house for months. I can honestly say Ali's acupuncture treatments were the absolute ONLY thing that made me feel well during the first 2 months of illness. My vertigo and nausea were gone right after the sessions for at least 24 hours which may not sound like much, but when you are constantly sick an entire day and night of not being sick is a miracle. Ali knew what I was going through and was so kind and compassionate, I will never forget how she treated me, it was one of the only highlights I had during my long battle. She listened and understood my afflictions, she knew every tiny place on me to get the most relief from acupuncture, but most of all she really cared and genuinely wanted me to feel and get better, it was truly amazing. After I had been receiving therapy for awhile she also suggested I try cupping for my tense back. I had no idea what she was talking about but I will obviously listen to anything she suggests, especially after giving me relief from the illness! It was almost as amazing as the acupuncture, I could feel the tension leave and the procedure itself feels so good, she didn't steer me wrong! I highly, highly suggest having Ali perform acupuncture and cupping, she is an amazing therapist and an amazing person in general, thanks Ali!! read more

Alicia delivered exactly what I needed. I am also a massage therapist, and I am pretty selective about who works on me. As soon as I came home from my massage, I was inspired to come to Yelp and give Renew Massage Studio a 5-star review! I was sore from lifting weights yesterday, so I was very happy her pressure was just right, and her pace was slow. She did check in verbally to make sure the pressure was okay, but she didn't need to -- she is very intuitive, and it was perfect. She worked on exactly what I asked her to. She did some really effective stretches for my arms and shoulders (I might have to borrow some of those moves). My session was therapeutic AND very relaxing. I enjoyed the music she had playing. She did ask before the session if the music was okay, and it was. Also, the table was warm, the lighting just right. She made the most of the 60 minutes I had with her for sure. It never felt rushed, but I also felt like she addressed everything I needed. She has awesome deals for 1st-time clients and discount packages, too, so you get a 5-star massage for a reasonable price, and you get the full 60-minute (or 90-minute) session, unlike some of the chain massage places. read more

My boyfriend and I have had two couples massages there, the first one was amazing and we both really enjoyed our therapists, we were excited to return and be healed once again for our second visit. I didn't request the therapists we had the first time because the reviews were amazing and I figured all of the therapists were great at what they did and were professional. Well, boy was I wrong lol. My therapist Hope was the worst massage therapist I have ever had ( I'm an athlete and have been getting professional massages for 20 years ) she was not only rude and unprofessional to me during the massage but after letting me know to tell her if I needed more or less pressure she had a reason with a condescending attitude towards me for why she could not do what I asked of her each time (I was asking nicely). After she insulted me a few times I made the choice of being kind to her and just calling the manager about the situation when I left the location as to not ruin my boyfriends experience further and to not create a scene. I left my massage with more pain then I arrived in. We paid and left tips just like we normally would, and I called the manager on the way home. Now despite hopes horrible customer service skills the manager Nicole was the exact opposite. She was very quick to apologize and share my concerns about hope and told me that she was going to refund the massage for us because we were returning customers and she wanted us to give them another chance. This is not only amazing customer service but also the right thing to do, I've worked in the industry of customer service for over a decade and I praise Nicole on her service. She let me know that hope would be spoken to and that this behavior was not ok with the owners or management. We will be booking our appointment with our previous therapist as soon as we find time in our schedule. While I had the worst 2nd experience there, the first one and the manager made up for it completely. Definitely check them out :) read more

Alicia is amazing! I don't get massages too often but this past year was in an accident and have had terrible shoulder and neck problems, leading to multiple massages.
