My trailer broke down near this business, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing…read more I was charged approximately $2,000 just for them to bring their equipment out roughly 12 miles, and the invoice listed 21 miles. The repair also took nearly three times longer than the timeframe I was originally given. I was billed for 10 hours of labor, even though the work performed should not have taken that long. If I had access to my tools (which were buried in the trailer), I estimate I could have completed the repair in about five hours myself. Additionally, I was billed for labor related to items that were damaged during the repair process. I had purchased several parts and specifically requested that they be replaced on both sides. Not all parts were replaced as requested, and the unused parts were not returned to me. I picked the trailer up at 10:00 PM, and due to the late hour it was difficult to fully inspect the work at that time. In total, I was charged close to $4,000 for a tire, rim, and hub replacement. Based on the scope of work, I believe the cost was excessive for what was completed. I would not recommend this business based on my experience.

They shared even though this isn't the responsibility of the business they would honor that and my service will be complimentary. I thanked them for looking into it and honoring it. Which in turn after my last complimentary service I will continue getting my car serviced here and continue to do business with Manhattan Hyundai. I hope they can understand the impact this experience can have on a customer and their future business. In a world where everything is much more expensive, I expect the customer experience to be positive. I as a customer place loyalty where it's earned and am happy to pay for that experience and I will want to give those who treat me well my business. --------------- I just learned Max Motors was sold. I called to schedule my maintenance on a vehicle I bought not even a year ago. I had asked for them to include 2 oil changes/maintenance when I purchased my car. They had agreed and included that in my deal. I had trouble getting service to answer my call this week. I finally spoke to someone today to get it scheduled. I mentioned it should be covered. I then was told oh, we're not max motors. The new owners are not honoring that. You can do that in Missouri. I asked that they do, and all I was told is that I'll make a note, but can't confirm it will be covered. Just sharing as this is very common when purchasing a vehicle, to ask them to include such services. So if you did the same and were promised the same, heads up! I'm fairly frustrated the new owners don't see how Max Motors was building clientele and treating customers well which brought customers back. This was the second vehicle I had bought from Max Motors. But not receiving the same level of customer service that used to be provided, will likely lead me to purchase elsewhere in the future.
