He had to solve for a couple challenges, most notably that the new flooring was thicker and thus created a disparity with the entrance to the master closets in the bathroom and to the master bedroom. Poor workman ship charges for work not requested and way over priced for what was done. I agreed to pay for all the all the big ticket items such as vanity, tubs, faucets, and other items. I wound up paying for paint, mixing valves, and door trim somehow. Also the work was not performed to standards, no communication on what was going on. I could not get an itemized invoice, just general expenses, items included work that I didn't ask for, billed for $5,500 dollars and didn't even have the toilet or sink installed. Horrible experience, it will cost another $1,700 to have this fixed and finished. Then I was billed $1,200 for a window replacement that was insane, I knew that would be on the high side for a urgent request but $1,200. Thats nuts, around $1,000 dollars for a moisture inspection with no report or evidence of findings. Just a note on a bill received well after the work was done that no water damage was found. However I had to open the wall and there was water damage. 9 months still not done and he asked for more money. Go figure!
