If you have any type of issue, just know the managers are too lazy to do their job and put it on the poor employees up front to deal with with problems that isn't even their job to start. There was constant miscommunication with every employee we interacted with and the manager was well aware of what was going on and refused to even help. What's the point of your job then? We made well aware we were not experts and were beginner snowboarders. Not a single employee made us aware that the beginner slopes were closed. We were never given any advice on what to do and where to go. We get to one of the lifts and when asking the employee if it was the expert slope, he said "it's not too bad." It wasn't until we got off the lift, when we realized it wasn't the case. A different (only helpful employee in this situation) immediately came to help. When explaining we were beginners, he shared that we never should've been sent up there. After explaining the situation, the people inside mentioned they were unaware that the beginner slopes were closed. Due to the miscommunication (on their part) and the fact that our safety was at risk, we rightfully asked for a refund. Mind you, we didn't even get to experience anything of what we paid for. We immediately went back down at the recommendation of the helpful employee on the slope. Management refused to speak with us and refused a refund. Also, all of a sudden once a refund was mentioned, they were ready to offer alternatives for beginners. First of all, where was this in the beginning? Second, by this time the way the situation was already being handled, we were over it and had zero interest in returning. While I don't fully fault all the employees that attempted to help with the options they were given, I put full blame on management. There needs to be cohesive communication across all employees to prevent situations like this. And as a former customer service facing manager, I am absolutely floored by the unprofessionalism from the manager on duty on February 2, 2026. She was well aware of everything but not once did she come out of her office to apologize or offer any kind of assistance. Absolutely ridiculous, insulting to our time, energy and money.

I, having an illness and a service dog, couldn't use the facilities but said I would sit in the lobby and wait. I was then told I would also have to pay the daily fee just to sit there. I couldn't believe it. I had gone there that morning to check it out and the counter staff was so rude, never smiled, and seemed so angry that I would ask questions and want to use their place. This lack of service continued when we went this afternoon. I was looked at askance and impolitely questioned about my service dog and then told I couldn't sit and wait for 30 minutes. For a town mostly dependent on tourism these people and their rules are designed to keep people away and have left a very bad impression about the whole town.

I called the owner and Jennifer texted me back and through Venmo I got a 24 hour door pass to her gym. It has lots of weights, cardio and all sorts of athletic gear to stretch and do work outs. While I was there I met her and her kids. Seniors, young people and middle aged locals came and went while I was there. I particularly enjoyed the tanning bed and sauna room. The shower was nice and they have a couple of lockers. Everyone cleans the equipment after use. A small town gym with big city amenities. I had never seen the pic of Marilyn Monroe working out before that is in the Sauna Tanning booth room.

Hiked up the Teton Pass Mountain trails in 3 hours on Sunday without stopping... it's a 6/7 mile hike strait uphill. We stayed at the Kodiak so I ran to the gym did my training and ran back just in time to eat breakfast with the family. The staff are genuine and so helpful.
