I sent in my information for my 2023 taxes to be taken care of and they never got filed. 2022 was smooth with no issues but I don't know what happened last year. This CPA was recommended to me by a family member but I do not recommend this business to anyone. They are currently ignoring my emails and phone calls. Would give a 0 if I could. I used this firm on a recommendation from a friend and it's done nothing but cause me stress, anxiety and $3,000 + in IRS fees due to gross negligence and malpractice. It's been a month and this firm has not done anything to reconcile my issue or paid the $3,000 in IRS fees for never filing my returns in 2021 but taking my money for doing my personal and business taxes( which they didn't even ask 1 question on). They claim they will try to fight the IRS fees but it's been a month and they've done nothing while my IRS account accrues more fees. They also totally messed up a year of QuickBooks costing me personally over 30 hours of work. Yes they want to put blame on a main player in the company , who recently died in 2022 but these things were done in early 2021. There is no excuse for this negligent work. Run away fast....their reduced fees must be due to their inexperience, minimal time working on your account records, and totally not worth this huge amount of stress!!! Waiting for my money to be returned and my fees paid by May 1 before escalating this to the next step....HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! read more

The Renberg team is amazing! They accepted me at the 11th hour and completed my returns and did an outstanding job. Communication was great and the secure web portal is easy to use. I am a licensed financial professional and will be referring my clients to work with Renberg. Take any bad reviews with a grain of salt. If you are organized and honest then you will have a great experience. Some "Karens" will never be happy and won't take responsibility for their part. 10/10 would recommend!!! read more

Like reviews said, my taxes for 2017 were done incorrect and now the IRS says we owe additional money, $1700. Mine and my husbands voicemails haven't been returned. When my husband did finally reach the office, of course nobody could help and said they would call back-that never happened. Now I am looking for a different CPA, who I will need to pay again to correct. They also said they would do an extension for me for 2018 and that never happened so I have additional fees. I'm not going to waste time to try to recover my service fees, from other reviews it looks like responsibility is never taken and ethics are nowhere to be found. Some reviews are absolutely correct, Mark will talk your ear off. We got to hear all about how his daughters like to spend all the money us poor souls are wasting on his services. read more

Mark is a great accountant! I found him through my in-laws....he has done their corporate taxes for years and now he does taxes for all of my siblings. We had our taxes completed with Mark in 2014 and recently received a letter from the IRS stating we owe money due to his inability to read a W2. After giving him the letter to review it took him a MONTH to respond to us after MULTIPLE phone calls and in person visits. Finally we received a call from his secretary that he sent us an email, his email response was rude and completely unprofessional. He never even apologized for his error and stated "Sorry we haven't responded to you on YOUR time frame....Let's agree to disagree and have you move on to another tax preparer." He also did not even acknowledge his error in reading the names on the W2's. (one for myself, one for my husband. Both were put under the same name therefore causing an error of approximately $2,000). He refused to return our tax preparation fees. I seriously question his competency after making such a simple error. I do not recommend anyone having their taxes completed by him. read more
