It was clean and was not over-powering with nail chemical smells like many other salons. The check in and check out process was digital and easy. The nail tech was very nice and personable and I am happy with how my nails turned out. Will definitely come back.

I absolutely will not be going to this nail salon again. I came in for a gel removal and classic…read moregel pedicure. Gwen started filing off my gel polish and it was hurting on a few of my nails, which doesn't normally happen. I looked down and notice the top of my nail was red but figured that was temporary. She then wiped them with alcohol and that was when my nail started burning badly. I told her it was burning and stinging and she just said "oh it hurts?", to which I responded yes, and she said "your nail is thin" and the just laughed it off. At that point I felt it was unsafe to put anything on my raw skin that was now exposed from my nail being filed down too thin, and she asked if I wanted normal polish instead. Being a professional, I would think she would advise no nail polish on the nail since it was open to my skin. I told her I did not want anything on them. She then pulled out a "strengthener" and insisted on putting that on. That also burned and I told her so, but she continued putting on clear polish anyways. She never once apologized or acted concerned over my skin being exposed through the nail. They still charged me $41 for the removal and pedicure, even though I asked to be done after the polish was filed off. I am now concerned this will end up infected because of the poor technique of filing too hard. I am extremely disappointed as prior to this, I had a very positive experience with another nail tech at this location. Unfortunately this ruined my experience and was a waste of my time and money.

I sent my mom a list of places and the first option they were automatically rude due to us not having an appointment scheduled. This ended up being where we ended up and it couldnt have gone any better than it did. They greeted us warmly and although they were busy they told us to give them a few minutes and they'd be right with us. Not 5 minutes later were we getting our nails done. They offered us a drink while we wated. My mom opted for the green tea and I had a Mimosa. Tony treated my mom so well, she's been having an issue with one of her nails and he paid attention and made her hands look stunning. I had Mary and she was the sweetest. She did such an amazing job. We went back this weekend and this time around my mom was helped by Tony and Holly and I got Amy. This is an amazing place to go. They stay busy consistently because although we had an appointment mannn did they have clientele. They are always so sweet and pleasant. My mom and I will definitely be returning.

What was great to call and ask questions before going since we are here from Chicago…read more They have limited information on the website however it was a helpful call. It was recommended we schedule an appointment to avoid a long wait; so we did. Due to a previous meeting we were a few minutes late to the appointment. We thought it would be an issue (based on the advice of "scheduling to assure no long wait time. " The salon had be more employees than the 1patron when we walked in. The receptionist was pleasant and friendly. The salon was open, spacious. Well lit and clean. The is a major plus to allow the technician and the client to see the work. The technician I had not directed me to my chair, she also started the massage chair just as I was seated. As she worked on my feet she asked if I was okay which is a good customer service call because I am not a regular client. Just before she moved to paint my toe nails I pointed out there was still a rough spot on my foot; she nodded and said "cracked heel" however did not address it. ( was that because I'd only gotten the basic pedi). Even my regular place in Illinois if a client points out a concern they address it no matter the service; if it concerned your heels. That said, the service from the technician was good and professional. When we return to the area I will schedule an appointment for a pedicure again.

I'm not very picky, but when I'm paying a lot of money for a service, I expect it to not be messy or rushed. I've been getting builder gel/hard gel for 5+ years now. I had a great salon in north park area that I was loyal to, and then we moved up to the Escondido area. I've been looking for a new go-to salon, and I thought this would be it since the reviews are pretty good? I'm pretty upset with how my manicure turned out. It's sloppy, the nails aren't filed evenly, and the design is something I could've done in my sleep (it's smeared In multiple places?)... I paid $10 for this design, $10 to trim my cuticles (and they look worse than before...), and another $70 for the hard gel? I've never spent this much on a manicure and it's the worst quality manicure I've ever gotten. The tech seemed rushed to get to another client... Long story short, I'm requesting a full refund on the manicure, and if I don't receive a response, I will be filing a chargeback with my credit card. I plan on going back to my original spot tomorrow to have them redone.
