However, I am now being ghosted by this company and am filing a dispute with my bank. I was so excited when I found Flipp salon. I thought they would definitely be able to give me the edgy haircut I've been looking for- a chin length shagged wolf cut. I submitted on online consult form and didn't hear back. A week later I called and left a message. After getting no response and waiting another week I emailed them on instagram and then *finally* got in touch. I had an in person consult with Kseniya and brought photos of what I was looking for, as well as photos of myself with my most favorite haircut. I came in for the appointment and was more definitive of what I was looking for-which was my previous haircut a chin length layered bob with an A line. I showed her pictures of the cut and color and...... promptly had my hair poorly dyed and hacked off nearly to the scalp. I had over a foot and a half of curly hair. After the first cut I realized Kseniya did not understand curly hair and I didn't know what to do. The first cut with my wet hair was at my cheekbone- Do I jump out of the chair with half a haircut? I should have. I don't understand the disconnect with the salon and their Instagram. I was looking for a chin length edgy modern bob for my curly hair. What I got is pretty darn near a buzz cut (she did, in fact, use clippers on the back) and the dye didn't even take at the nape of my neck. It's less than an inch long on the back and 4 inches in the front (when stretched- with the curls it is about 2-3 inches). It's so short in the back that my scalp is exposed and the cut in the front is uneven with the hair longer on the side with the part. It's the worst haircut I have ever had in my entire life and is going to take at least 6 months for it to grow to the length I was asking for. There is no "fixing" this. I am due a refund for this awful hack job and am flabbergasted by the lack of professionalism of this salon- literally ghosting an unhappy customer. Are we still in high school?

I've been seeing Sara M. there for cut and color for several years now. Sara helps me achieve my blonde ambitions without bleaching, and my hair is about a billion times healthier as a result! She does a great job with my cut and layers, too, and does one heck of a blowout. The salon is stylish looking, and the color scheme very relaxing. It has 4 haircutting stations separated by mirrors and sheer curtains, and a nice little side room with two sinks for shampooing with comfy chairs that support your neck. There is also a room for getting one's nails did (as they say). I've only been there to see Sara, but everyone else who works there is perfectly pleasant! I love coming in for my appointments here--great conversation while Miss Sara works on my hair, and I get a nice cup of coffee or tea and a stack of gossipy magazines to thumb through while my color processes. Sara gives lots of care and individual attention to her clients, and I never feel like our appointments are rushed. Highly recommend!

We all drove an hour to Providence, only to arrive at 10:30 and be told our appointments were canceled because the system had them at 10:15. Mistakes happen, but the owner's attitude was the real issue. She was condescending, blamed me for confirming via text, refused to let the 3 stylists use the remaining 30 minutes for a quick refresh with dry shampoo, and told us we "should know how a salon works." After our conversation of around 15 minutes, she finally admitted she entered the time wrong but offered only a dismissive "sorry." We ended up walking the street looking for other salons to squeeze us in. Several receptionists weren't surprised when we mentioned which salon had treated us this way. Save yourself the trouble--go somewhere kinder and more professional.
