I started ReNA seven months ago, and though it is hands-down the hardest workout I've ever done, it is also hands-down the best thing I've ever done for myself. I'm 43 and had never worked out regularly until my mid-thirties when I took up running. I loved running, and did a couple of 16k races, a half-marathon, and two Olympic triathlons. But even with regular running, I always felt disappointed that my body shape never really changed much (I'd get a little thinner, but was always pretty 'soft'). When I started ReNA, I was 139 pounds and felt like I was in decent shape. Seven months later, I'm only down about five pounds, but can't believe how totally different my body shape is. I've got muscles like I've never had before. I'm down two pant sizes. I can do a ridiculous number of push-ups. I kind of love squats. And much to my surprise, when the owner of ReNA convinced me to attempt static pull-ups the other day, I could actually do them (I haven't been able to do static pull-ups since I was in grade school). All that to say...ReNA kicks my tush every time, but I LOVE IT. read more
