I have several years of experience doing reformer Pilates and am so grateful for my affordable weekly private lessons by Shasta. She is so patient, understanding, kind and intelligent - I've learned a lot of new movements and the exercises have really helped me with my posture and core strength. The equipment is all top-notch, clean and cared for. Shasta also does group mat Pilates classes and barre classes too which are at a lower price point. Street parking is usually available in front of the studio, and if not, the parking garage is right around the corner!

Then stated she thought it was a conflict. She was very odd and seemed to think that because I go to another studio in town (that frankly is awesome - Southern Oregon Pilates) that I could not as a consumer attend a session with another studio. My instructor of 3 years is on vacation this week so I thought I might be fun to try another studio in town. I travel a lot and attend studios in other cities and states and have never had anyone be so unprofessional and frankly weird. Run and go to Southern Oregon Pilates.

Deep tissue message is amazing. I had Steven as my Deep Tissue Masseur and it was under conditions…read morethat were less optimal on my part and his - let me explain. My back had gone into a major spasm and I needed deep tissue work done and I had called Inward Bound Wellness on short notice. Steven had created an opening for me as we spoke on the phone. He fit me in and worked out the spasm, as we were going through the massage Steven asked me questions about my recent activities. He pin pointed a few muscles and explained what their use was for and I was able to figure out what caused the spasm. The previous day we were moving and I had carried by myself a large tube tv up 17 stairs sideways and from his decriptions of what each tweaked muscle and how it works allowed me to pinpoint the cause. Thank you Steven. Justin W.

Christina seems to have not just the best grasp on the technical instruction of Pilates but also a unique knack of knowing exactly what will likely work best with each of her many clients. She is also great about working/collaborating with your other practitioners. And, she's easy on the eyes....even my husband looks forward to joining me for "duets" and occasionally we get a salsa lesson as well! She's been solely word of mouth for all her years of practice for those "in the know". With the multitude of "alternative" and "fitness" practitioners out there these days, sometimes it's hard to know how to choose. You cannot go wrong with Christina.

My foot pain, which was severe in the mornings, was impacting my ability to run. Jaime did a thorough assessment, helped me set realistic goals and tailored an individualized plan that not only completely resolved my plantar fasciitis pain but also addressed my overpronation, my chronic piriformis syndrome and my overall running form. Her treatments included strengthening, stability, balance, scraping to free up the adhesions, stretching and neuromuscular trigger point release to name just a few of her methods. I recently achieved one of my goals thanks to her help and ran the 5-mile Shamrock Run, finishing first in my age group. She has provided me with indispensable tools that I will continue to use to improve my running form for years to come. I thoroughly recommend her for her conscientious, knowledgeable, holistic and detail oriented approach.

Dr. Cassie has really helped me not only reduce and eliminate my chronic back pain but has taught me how to move and function better in everything I do. She was able to not only help me understand my own unhealthy patterns and posture in a very precise but accessible way but is constantly encouraging and positive about my progress, giving me tips and tools that allow me to help myself on my own time. This is the single BEST practice I have done for myself. I have tried a lot of other things to deal with my pain and all of them I would only find relief at the time of the therapy and a little after, but I would have to keep going for the rest of my life, and not actually heal. Sessions with Cassie are so fulfilling and thorough I walk away feeling taller and stronger every time, but knowing that I am making a long term investment in my own health and preventing further injury is absolutely priceless for me. The studio in Jacksonville is really comfortable and intimate, very cute! I've done both private sessions and small classes and both are fun and challenging and personalized. My condition has improved so much that I no longer am in pain but Dr. Cassie is such a wealth of knowledge I haven't wanted to stop going even though I feel so empowered and don't need physical therapy anymore to be OK. Her workouts are the best part of my week. I can't rave enough about JWell. We are blessed to have this unique studio in our small town in southern Oregon!
