If playing racquetball and swimming laps are important to you, then it might be worth it. They just raised their rates and I'm not able to see any upgrades. Very few spin class options. The bathrooms are very run down, especially the men's, where there is no privacy. The men's open showers are right out of a 1950's military barrack. The ventilation is bad, so the smells coming from the one toilet stall mix with the steam and fill the whole bathroom and changing area. And though it's not the gym's fault, some of the gym members have very bad hygiene standards in the bathroom. The age demographic generally skews 65+. You can potentially save hundreds of dollars per year elsewhere.

Customer service is mostly good, BUT I really don't want to walk into a gym and see anyone wearing Meta glasses, let alone the front desk staff. Is it too new for a policy to be implemented? It's really uncomfortable seeing that in a gym environment. Overall, still a big fan of this specific location :)

Two employees ( both females) were setting up a tanning session for a gentleman and then literally walked away ...when he asked what was going on with his bed. Their response was basically "we're off duty" and they didn't even acknowledge him after that. The new employee coming on had no idea what was happening, which beds were in use, or what the customer needed. So the customer was left standing there confused because the outgoing staff decided that being off the clock meant customer service no longer mattered, even though they were still in Planet Fitness gear and still inside the building. I just think that's really poor customer service. Shift change should be seamless for the customer, not a handoff where someone gets ignored. Being off duty doesn't mean you stop being professional on your way out the door.

I understand I should've noticed the $30 charge on my card monthly but I honestly didn't there was a lot going on inside of last year personally.
