I've been going to Nicole for a little over three years now and I'm grateful to the umpteenth degree for the balance she's helped me maintain. Be it simple aches and pains, more intense physical issues, mental fogginess...you name it...she's helped me through it think or thin. Her intuitive nature, coupled with vast experience and knowledge is what puts me at ease each time I walk through her door. I truly don't think my greatest difficulties would have been managed half as well without her help! Thank you Nicole for helping me to keep my focus on what's important...myself!! read more

There is a great deal of attention and skill that goes into every appointment. I am so happy with Jill's skills and service that I have recommended her to dozens of people and hired her for a private event I hosted. I am so grateful to have found her and I am certain to continue to use her services for a long time to come. You will be more than satisfied. Take your business to Jill. read more

My friend got me a gift card to Remember to Breathe, I got an acupuncture treatment and a massage. Man! Nicole is so super legit. She's incredibly knowledgable for being so young and very nice. Great energy to be around. I trained in various martial arts for years and had nagging injuries and after 1 acupuncture treatment I was so relaxed I could've pissed myself, just kidding lol, but not really. I've tried other places that were closer to me, but it was too late. I was spoiled by Nicole, she has so many great treatments and techniques. It's like, once you've eaten a Steak at Donovan's eating meatloaf from Von's just seems wrong, ya know? I tried out a massage at, Remember to Breathe, since I've experience the acupuncture. THEN, I got a massage at a chain that will remain unnamed, where I'm NOT too envious of their massages, and both times I went the massage therapists wouldn't shut the hell up. It's hard to relax when someone's telling you about each drink they had for their 23rd bday, how the DJ played a special song for them and at the end of the night she was proud of herself for not projecting her dinner. Ummm, yeah, that's super relaxing, thanks for sharing. Oh wow! Sorry relapsed there for a second. If you wanna be a friend to someone get them a gift card to Remember to Breathe or Roll in yourself. If you're not in the Point Loma area, which I am not, it is absolutely worth the drive. Otherwise, you're gonna save gas money and get a crap therapy session and have to hear about how someone 5'5, 130lbs girl can out drink you and crush a can on their head. read more

Nicole is amazing! She makes you feel good just by stepping in the door. That's all before the she even starts the acupuncture treatment. She is sweet, knowledgeable and efficient. I usually make regular acupuncture visits for wellness alone. However, when I started seeing Nicole, I was having pain in my shoulder and knee and ankle. She's helped me heal all of those! Now, I just go for the relaxation and to stay well. It's fantastic! Nicole really goes out of her way to serve the community too. She hosts a variety of wellness workshops including detox and meditation but also extending out to kids art classes. She also provides community acupuncture for just $10 - literally making it affordable for everyone to receive this benefit of wellness. Try it! read more

I was referred to Nicole by multiple coworkers, who all had amazing things to say, and they were right. I love the relaxing environment, and although I had never tried acupuncture before, I would never give it up now. Nicole is so welcoming and soothing and the entire ambience and message are all about healing. She's helped with everything from cycling injuries, to stress, I would and do recommend remember to breathe to everyone. read more

This is a lovely business with lovely, competent and caring people. I've been going to Nicole for acupuncture for about 6 months and I think she is great. I've felt all sorts of physical improvements and changes in my body since I began treatment, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced acupuncturist. They also offer massage, cleanses, and supplements, which is great. read more

I've been seeing Nicole over the years for massage and acupuncture. The acupuncture stopped 6 months of sneezing and has eased my shoulder pain. I'm usually good after a couple of visits, but will go weekly when my budget allows. Nicole is caring and professional, extremely kind and great at what she does! I just went to the "community room". It's a shared room next door to the main space. Up to four people get treated at once. Dividers hang from the ceiling so you don't see each other until someone leaves. Only $15 for half hour session! read more

It's been a couple weeks since a started my acupuncture treatment with Nicole, I was feeling tired, fatigue, anxiety, back pain and many other symptoms. It's Amazing how I feel now. Since session one I started feeling better. I totally recommend her spa is so cozy and welcoming and she is so knowledgeable. Also, there's a massage therapist her name is Jill Reimer. Hands down! She is Good!! My shoulders and neck were killing me. After only one session my tension is gone. Absolutely Amazing this Place. Check-it-out! read more

After months of being in pain, Jill was able to make me feel fresh and new within an hour. I workout an average of 5-6 days a week, and I stretch and roll very minimal. I thought I'd let my body get to a point of no return, because every time I attempted to roll I was in so much pain. Jill massaged my entire body and focused on my most painful areas (rt shoulder and rt hip); she showed me that my painful body can bounce back. Jill, I feel so refreshed! I'll definitely be back. Thank you so much, I owe you. read more

I absolutely love this place. I come in about 2 times a month to get acupuncture by Nicole and I have to say she is a true healer. I love the moments I have here to recenter myself and get whole again. Its cute and comfortable and the girls are so great. Make sure you make an apt and enjoy your self. read more

I went to Nicole for chronic fatigue, or what I would call turning into a zombie after 12pm. Instead of immediately treating my symptoms with acupuncture, Nicole met with me and discussed every aspect of my health. She recommend that I make changes to my diet as well as acupuncture treatments. She gave me specific food choices and meal ideas. Each time I meet with her, she is very genuine, helpful, and professional. After a few months of treatment, I can happily say that I no longer turn into a zombie after lunch. Nicole is very quick to respond to any questions or concerns via email. The community acupuncture room is very comfortable and the procedure itself is virtually painless. The beautiful spa music puts me to sleep, and I feel refreshed and relaxed when I wake up. I highly recommend giving Nicole a visit! read more

Remember to Breathe is an incredible Massage/acupuncture studio right in the heart of Pacific Beach! Both services are amazing! Ive been going to Jill (massage artist) for a few years now and she is top notch, super talented at body work, very knowledgeable for sports injuries and body mechanics, and a great personality! She has helped me out of a lot of back/sciatic pain! I have now also started with Nicole in getting twice monthly acupuncture and it has me feeling great! She is so great at performing the service, a true professional who makes the session easy and seamless! She is extremely sincere in helping you feel great through acupuncture and other remedies. The two of them together is a one stop shop for anyone with body pain or other issues. I have found my healing place! read more

Affordable, honest and real acupuncture. Love Nicole and her message.

Loved this place!!! Hurt my lower back doing an intense body works with abs class just days before a planned vacation to San Diego. Was in alot of pain but didn't want to cancel the trip. Read the reviews about Vanessa and thought I would give it a try. She was AWSOME !!! She was very sympathetic and got me in the next day. She spent the whole hour on my back and stretching my legs!!!!!! Worked miracles!!! Only wish there were two of her so my boyfriend ( who waited patiently in the lobby) could have gotten a massage too. I am definitely going back!!! Thanks Vanessa you saved the day for sure! read more

Nicole is the best and only accupunturist I will ever go to. She was the only one that could take away headaches caused by my husbands failing health and kidney transplant. I thought accupuncture was hokey pokey, but I am now a firm beleiver. I did however try another therapist once when Nicole was closed; he was painful and unsucessful at releiving my headache. SHe does great massages as well. I hope my kids get me a gift cert for Moms day! read more

I love the energy of this lovely health center. Nicole is very knowledgeable regarding acupuncture and herbal supplements to enhance overall well-being. Vanessa does massage therapy and is absolutely wonderful. She listens to your needs and does a full range of massage techniques. I look forward to our appointment all week. Remember to breathe is clean, professional and a joy to visit. read more

I have been going to Nicole at Remember to Breathe for a number of years. My first visits were eye opening. She changed my diet, got me to do a detox, and through acupuncture treatments, she eventually got me to a place where I didn't need 8 different medicines I was taking. People noticed the difference and said that before I had looked tired and "done in". After I looked vibrant and full of color and energy. Recently, I woke up to discover I had Bells Palsy. (one side of my face frozen) Looking on the internet it can take as much as a year to recover. I went right to Nicole (the quicker you begin treatment the better). I went twice a week for acupuncture and face massage. After 2 1/2 weeks the symptoms were almost gone. Now two months later, only I can tell a slight difference in the sides of my face. The acupuncture helped with the pain of the nerves growing back, and the queasy feelings associated with healing. She also helped me with migraines, sinus from allergies, body aches from hours of playing harp, and even with immune system when I was beginning with an ear infection. The process is surprisingly relaxing, the needles are almost painless, and the time spent relaxing to soft music, healing aroma therapies, and a comfortable heated massage table are worth the visit alone! I highly recommend Nicole at Remember to Breathe! read more

I recently just had a baby so you know I needed to get a massage. The hubby flew us down there for a weekend getaway. I was getting a bit antsy at the hotel so I decided to jump on yelp and see who could give me a massage. I haven't had a massage in years and have been feeling a lot of stiffness in my neck and shoulders from holding our baby. I found Vanessa on here and decided to see if I can get in. Despite her only 1 review, I decided to take a chance plus the name of the spa got my attention because that is what a new mother has to remind herself, is to just breath. She was able to fit me in right away after I told her about the pain I was having. I only booked for a one hour massage but Vanessa took her time to make sure that I have a relaxing experience being a mother herself, she totally understood what I needed. If I am ever in town again, I will def. see Vanessa, it is too bad she does not live up here in San Francisco. read more

I completely trust Nicole and her expertise as an acupuncturist! I have been seeing Nicole for acupuncture for years and I have referred many of my Yoga & Pilates Clients to Nicole for a number of reasons... but the BEST personal story I can honestly share with everyone is that Nicole's acupuncture treatment helped me go into labor 10 days early!!! Nicole is SO knowledgeable and safe, I knew my baby and I were in the best hands... I had the BEST labor, and I recommend her to all pregnant women EVERYWHERE for so many reasons: better circulation through pregnancy, natural induction when the time is ready, positive energy/healing and detox post-baby... I am forever grateful to Nicole for all she has done for me! read more
