They took my credit card prior which was fine but puts me in a bad position later on. So I lay on the table and the facialist starts going over what I need done and tried to upsell me to a TRIPLE CHEMICAL PEEL. I have never had a chemical peel before and tbh I didn't think my skin was so terrible. When I express my hesitation and mention the service I booked for she told me she understood if I couldn't afford it but that the service I was getting wouldn't really do anything for me. I've had many facials in my life I can't imagine a deep cleansing facial with extra paid time wouldn't do anything. There's a non refundable deposit which I didn't want to lose so I forged ahead anyway and she was right. She didn't do much but steam and so a basic cleansing on my face with a few pore extractions. I was hoping to get laser facial hair removal here which i definitely did not do because of this horrendous experience. Not to mention the deep cleansing facial was over 150 dollars so it's not like i was skimping in the first place. It was totally uncomfortable and I wish i had spoken up in the moment but I felt like I'd lose money anyway and I'd already driven half an hour to get there. I'd give it no stars if I could.

The good: the massage itself was excellent. I booked the three-hour package, and the masseuse did an amazing job. The scalp analysis with the camera was impressive and informative, and I appreciated learning more about the condition of my scalp and hair. The atmosphere inside was relaxing, and overall the treatment portion of the experience felt luxurious. However, there were several issues that affected my experience. My appointment started about 10 minutes late, even though I received multiple confirmation calls beforehand asking if I was coming. After making the effort to arrive on time, it was frustrating to have to wait and see staff scrambling to get organized. As someone with textured Black hair, I also felt they were not fully equipped with products or techniques tailored to my hair type. During the washing process, I noticed some pulling around my hairline, which concerned me. I would recommend that clients with textured hair ask questions beforehand about what products will be used and request extra care when handling their hair. Another issue was that I was told I would receive a ginger hair treatment product, but it was never provided. The biggest disappointment came at checkout. I tipped the masseuse approximately $30 because I genuinely felt she deserved recognition for her work. However, I was made to feel uncomfortable and pressured to tip more, which took away from what had otherwise been a relaxing experience. Overall, the treatment itself was great, and the masseuse was fantastic, but the lack of organization, pressure regarding tipping, and concerns about textured hair care prevented this from being a higher-rated experience. My esthetician was very knowledgeable and explain ever step you did. I honestly would had less preferred talking but it was nice that she wanted to educate me. The room itself was neat and tidy. Being that I did buy from a Groupon at the end they wanted to up sell me products and packages. I really like the fact that management will do whatever it takes to make sure their guests are satisfied. To me customer service is a priority, and they really stepped up to the plate. When I was finally able to reschedule it was for weeks ahead no confirmation was sent or reminder and when I tried calling again no one answers the phone. I missed appointment and asked owner to reschedule she refused and stated "I need to respect their time" as you can see through her instagram she talks very badly about customers and is not understanding. If you just had surgery of course your going to struggle to get up and go to appointments your body is weak and recovering. I wouldn't recommend this place for someone who has gotten surgery and needs services. Owner has no customer service skills. She sends reminders to customers she likes and discriminates against others. She has a scheduling reminders however she only sets it up for certain clients. I did not receive any reminders or confirmations. Instead of being the bigger person and admitting this mistake Jasmine chose to keep the deposit and give no service to myself or my sister. Be aware she wants to keep your deposit and makes fun of clients on instagram who call to inquire about this. I don't find it funny that women that come to get a service to enhance or feel better about their bodies are being made fun of because they were unable to make an appointment. When many of these women are recovering and May not have as much support as they need. Moreover, things that may come up during this pandemic. You will find customer service to be an important part of being a small business owner and with the attitude you have towards clients not sure you will be for long.
