Not only did they do a wonderful job removing main bearing walls and installing new doorways to open and brighten the house, but they also corrected and perfected several issues left behind by a previous contractor. From the initial proposal to the finished work, every single aspect of the project has been first class. Price, workmanship, clean-up, and communication were all exceptional -- especially important since I'm not always on-site. They exceeded my expectations in every way. Big thanks to Kermath and his team for inspecting & correcting the electrical issues that were previously left and overlooked. I highly recommend Chris Helms & Pintail Builders to anyone considering updates, renovations, or a full build. I will definitely have them back for future projects! Five Stars for My Dream Master Suite Transformation I am…read moreabsolutely thrilled with the results of my recent home renovation. My house was built in 1975 and had truly never been renovated. After years of living with the original layout, I finally decided to take the plunge and transform one of the existing bedrooms into my "dream bathroom".By converting that bedroom, I was able to connect it directly to the master bedroom to create a stunning, cohesive suite. This project also involved strengthening the former bedroom floor by sistering the floor joists and knocking down a bedroom wall to create a much-needed open-concept feel, Working with the contractors and designers of Peninsular Bath was an intensive process. There were a million decisions to make regarding every little detail--from the tiles, fixtures, and lighting to the layout of the new bathroom. Despite the complexity of the project, the team was professional and guided me through each step, helping me realize a vision I've had for a long time. I'm especially grateful for Adam and Victor who are master carpenters/ contractors, but they also put great priority in truly understanding my wishes. They introduced me to better options which, by far, enhanced the bathroom. This renovation was about more than just updated plumbing and new tile; it was about making this house truly mine while honoring the memories of my late husband. I am so grateful to be healthy enough to enjoy these beautiful new spaces. If you are looking for a team that can handle complex structural changes while respecting the owners wishes and the emotional significance of a home, I highly recommend this crew. I was told by a friend, that Barry was the best in Wicomico County. I found Barry to be both knowledgeable and professional septic system installer. By the end of the first day, the drain lines, pump tank, and pump were ready for inspection. By lunch the next day, the system was inspected and approved by the health department, trenches covered, and the area was graded and seeded with grass. By 1 PM, they had loaded up their equipment and headed to their next job. Barry Phippin was the best choice for my project.
