I spoke with Mr. Ian Nembhard about replacing the floor in my kitchen. He agreed to give me an estimate, later he met me at the supply store, assisted my wife and I in determining the type of flooring that would work best for us. Mr. Nembhard picked up the tiles and arrived at my home on the very next day and after everything was cleared out of the kitchen he began his installation. He worked diligently throughout the process until the job was complete. The result was excellence! We were very pleased with the quality, look and overall price. We plan to use Nembhard & Son Constructionin in future home projects. Charles M.

The crew worked non-stop on a blustery and cold day and we're totally impressed with the quality, craftsmanship and sturdy construction. In addition, Nick and the paver crew widened our driveway by 2' on both sides, adding some much needed walking space. Our "before" driveway looked okay, but it wasn't squared with the street or the house; they transformed our driveway into a masterpiece. They also installed the paver walkway, linking our existing deck to the new deck. Every single worker that I met during our additions were very courteous and very professional. Special thanks to Jarod and Nick who helped make our ideas a reality. Many thanks!

With a very short deadline and the added complexity of the HPC, Branden made it all go away. Even though I was also a contractor (we are naturally competitive and love to talk smack on other contractors) I found he was very knowledgeable, logical, reasonable, and very approachable. His guys were friendly and thoughtful, the job site was left tidy and there was zero damage to any surrounding area. Bonus points for managing the project in such a way that a big storm mid-roofing didn't cause a leak. Also, the work looks great! I highly recommend him. Especially if you are in the historic area.

After one year (In October 2022), they tried to raise my rent based on water usage. The excess usage was being caused by a malfunctioning toilet tank flap, which the landlord replaced previously ion 2022. Since this fixed the excess water usage, I did not sign a new lease with an increased rent, obviously they did this ONLY to recover their money and not because of any water usage I was doing. My water usage was one toilet and one deep sink. After I lost my job and moved out in February 2024, Mr. Spears told me he he was keeping the security deposit because I refused to sign the increased rent lease back in 2022. I told him that I have been a landlord for over 20 years and this was blatantly illegal. I am filing a complaint with the state attorney general for theft. I am also reporting this crime to the local Cambridge Police. This is a dishonest company run by a dishonest person.

Five Stars for My Dream Master Suite Transformation I am…read moreabsolutely thrilled with the results of my recent home renovation. My house was built in 1975 and had truly never been renovated. After years of living with the original layout, I finally decided to take the plunge and transform one of the existing bedrooms into my "dream bathroom".By converting that bedroom, I was able to connect it directly to the master bedroom to create a stunning, cohesive suite. This project also involved strengthening the former bedroom floor by sistering the floor joists and knocking down a bedroom wall to create a much-needed open-concept feel, Working with the contractors and designers of Peninsular Bath was an intensive process. There were a million decisions to make regarding every little detail--from the tiles, fixtures, and lighting to the layout of the new bathroom. Despite the complexity of the project, the team was professional and guided me through each step, helping me realize a vision I've had for a long time. I'm especially grateful for Adam and Victor who are master carpenters/ contractors, but they also put great priority in truly understanding my wishes. They introduced me to better options which, by far, enhanced the bathroom. This renovation was about more than just updated plumbing and new tile; it was about making this house truly mine while honoring the memories of my late husband. I am so grateful to be healthy enough to enjoy these beautiful new spaces. If you are looking for a team that can handle complex structural changes while respecting the owners wishes and the emotional significance of a home, I highly recommend this crew.
