So we had a leak in the roof the next morning we started calling roofers and Superior was the first to answer the phone. Bill came over and looked at the roof and told us we needed a new roof, we told home to give us a price and we would send it to the insurance. I contacted the insurance company they sent a guy out he went up on the roof and did his thing said he would write up his report and get back to us. Later that afternoon we received a call and insurance was paying for the roof there was lots of wind damage. We called bill and he came over we signed a contract, it was over a week before he started he called said a crew would be here in the am to put the new roof on. The next morning they were here at 0730 placed tarps around the whole house then tore all the old shingles and paper off replaced with new synthetic underlayment and Lifetime shingle. At 1830 they were finished with the roof they came back the next morning to clean up. Hopefully they got most all the nails out of the yard. They did have to take the dish off the roof after taking the single off and then a few minutes after they put it they replaced it I had the same signal I thought I was going to have to have the dish people come and realign it but all was good. Give bill a call see what he can do for you.

I live on Maryland's Lower Eastern Shore. My home's roof had experienced some wind damage. My wife…read moreis acquainted with Adam Whitaker through her work. I scheduled an appointment with Adam to give me an estimate on repairs and a price to completely replace the roof. The information for a complete roof replacement would be for a later date, I simply wanted an idea of how much it would end up costing. Adam, who is trained and experienced in insurance worked, suggested that the damage might be something covered under my homeowners insurance. I reached out to my insurer and opened a claim. Adam communicated with and personally met with the insurance adjuster at my home to inspect and discuss the damage. My insurance did cover a complete roof replacement minus my deductible. On the day of the roof tear off and install (4/14/2020), a crew of nine was at my house at 7:10 a.m. ready to go. At 5:00 p.m. my home had a beautiful new roof. Being retired, I spent a good portion of the day outside watching the crew work. There wasn't a slacker in the bunch. Except for the 20-minutes they took for a lunch break, all nine guys were full throttle throughout the entire day. When they were done and before the crew left, I did a walk around the entire perimeter of the house with a foreman from Arocon to ensure the property was clean to my satisfaction. I couldn't even tell that just hours earlier the yard was covered in old three tab shingles and tar paper. It was like I never had work done that day. The only thing that was visible to show that a full day's work had been done was the beautiful new roof with architectural shingles which added value and curb appeal to my home. So impressive was the crew, that towards the end my wife arrived home from work and commented about the size of the crew. I acknowledged the nine man crew. She told me there were 13 men on the crew. Sure enough, during a time when I was in the house, a four man crew had finished a job 25-miles away and instead of heading home, they came to my job and chipped in to help the nine man crew finish sooner. Now that's some impressive teamwork. Before the crew had even finished packing all their materials and tools, I had three different employees from Arocon called me to inquire if I was satisfied with how everything was going with the install. Would I recommend Arocon? In a heartbeat. From my initial visit with Adam to my fist bump (Covid-19) with Levi, Arocon's foreman, when he and the crew were leaving, this was a positive and most impressive experience. And as a grizzly old retired cop, I'm not easily impressed.

We plan on using them in the future for our repair and project needs The first time we hired Affordable Solutions was to repair our front door. It was severely weathered and they made it look new after a couple days work without removing it. They charged us 1/3rd of the other companies that gave us quotes. We also have had them repair other doors, fix rotted stairs, replace broken deck boards, replace handrails, stain and paint, as well as multiple repairs. Each time their workers came when they said they would, did the work efficiently and did a great job. One very important point: we have had several storm-related repairs lately. Our insurance provided contractor ghosted us, several others did not return our call, many thought our needs were not substantial/lucrative enough. Andy Gibb and his team have come through for us with reasonable prices, good communication and great results!

Mr. Gibbs came to home, extremely late on the day of the appointment. He suggested he cut the damaged spindle and take it with so it could be matched exactly. He ensured me his wood guy could replicate the discontinued spindle as I requested. He also ensured me it would only take a few days to get the spindle back. He quoted me a price e of over 400.00 for 1 wooden spindle and would not start the work without a deposit and contract. It ended up being weeks before I got the spindle back. When he returned, the color was extremely off, and he had to take the spindle back to fix the color. Several weeks later he again returned. When he returned I could not believe what he brought back to be placed in my home stairwell. It was not the custom-made spindle replicated by his wood guy, but a 6.00-dollar spindle from Home Depot. The color did not match, nor was it the same style of spindle. He failed to inform me that he would be installing the wrong spindle. I WAS LIVID! I could not believe a so call reputable company bamboozled me out of 400.00 for a 6.00 spindle. I asked him why he dd not call or inform me he had the wrong spindle, he just arrived at my home and commenced to installing the mis matched spindle. He never apologized, never offered a refund, no even partial. I am still considering suing him for breech of contract. Please under no circumstances, DO NOT USE Affordable solutions, Prince Frederick owned by Andy Gibbs.

Of the three estimates we got for our roof replacement, his estimate was the most detailed, outlining all materials as well as the customer's expectations for the process. Arndt's prices were very competitive (enough so that we were also able to afford an upgrade to our gutters), and we were amazed at how quickly the work was completed. As promised, his crew arrived at 7:00 am (professional, friendly, and focused!), and at 1:00 pm they had cleaned up the yard and were leaving. Nate provided the invoice, all photos and Certificate of Completion on the spot- I was able to submit all the documentation to my insurance company 30 minutes later. One of the best experiences we've ever had with a contractor. Highly recommended!

After my last gutter cleaning I noticed the water kept overflowing from the roof in one spot. BJ claimed the underground pipe that drains the water from the downspout was clogged. This was not the case as I clearly showed him pictures of the water leaking off the roof and the gutter being dry. Unfortunately, he would not come over again to clear the downspout even after 4x emails and asks. This led to a lot of water damage in our basement from water pouring off of the roof and into the foundation. I finally got another gutter cleaner over. They simply climbed up, put a hose into the downspout and out came a bunch of junk that was clogging it. It was a simple fix he wasn't willing to do which cost me over a thousand dollars in damages. I really do not like writing negative reviews but I can't recommend their services.
