They have hundreds of thousands of cards stacked with stars, and their prices are low. Variety includes Upper Deck, OPC, Topps, Fleer, Score, Donruss, Leaf, Pinnacle and spans the low and upper ends of the spectrum. The staff are unbelievably friendly. There is a palpable neighbourhood-bar vibe, where local collectors drop in to buy packs and boxes in quantities large and small, and feel free to voice their support or criticism of sports teams. Parking is free, and for those with a spouse who doesn't want to spend hours in a sports card store - there is a shopping plaza. London Transit has a close stop, approximately a 2 minute walk away near the Taco Bell. Definitely worth the bus ride or drive. This place is the epitome of 5 stars all the way through.

I am by no means inept but I am not entirely familiar with the RC and hobby world. SImple questions are met with terse replies. When I stopped in recently (only because I needed something quick and I was nearby...I've been taking my business to other hobby shops after being treated poorly here twice), I went to inquire about a part and the employee answered the phone while I was in the middle of talking to him and indicated for me to wait. He proceeded to have an in-depth conversation with the customer on the phone, ignoring me completely. There was another employee in the back he could have asked to come help me. I managed to find the part myself and proceeded to wait longer while he talked on the phone and ignored me. Finally the employee from the back came out, noticed me, and I was assisted. It is almost as if the staff here isn't actually interested in having customers....

We purchased a couple of games from Japan, and some cute toys -things that you cannot easily find at your local big box store. Service was so friendly and the vibes were great at this store.

You know when you see those sweet geeky gadgets online and your like "man, I wish I knew a place…read morethat sold these!", well look no further, this is it! Uber Cool Stuff has everything from board games, to cool toys, to art, to kitchen wares. I really like to come here when I'm stuck for a gift and want to get someone something really cool and unique. I've purchased salt and pepper fooseball players, a bbq skewer that has the handle of a sword, and pot holders that look like records. The owner of this store is very active on twitter which is really nice when you need to ask about anything. The store is also attached to a vintage clothing store which has some pretty cool stuff. I do find Uber Cool Stuff to be a bit expensive. However, I haven't compared their prices to stores online (plus shipping costs) so it may end up being on par. Either way, if you are looking for a spot to find some cool stuff for a friend or you want to get something fun for your house, go here, you wont be disappointed.

The staff at Players are amazing. They have a great selection of products. They recently took on…read moremore space and host fun events for all ages. Even though the hobby has gotten expensive as of late, they still offer great value. My kids love going there because the staff are friendly and kind. Sometimes kids can be a bit annoying when the store is busy but the staff never make them feel like a burden. Even when all the adults are crowding around the display cases, the staff are good about making sure the kids get to have a look. Players is doing it right. Give'em a look.
