Because it's cute!

Made my already awesome 1969 Silver Streak Sabre into something even more special. It's now bright, comfy, and the dogs now all have their own spots! Great communication and I now feel confident dragging the trailer across the country to CT from WA.

I had just met Jayne an hour ago and she asked "would you like to take this retro 19 foot airstream off the lot"?

Mark was timely and very pleasant, I chose Mark due to his 5 star rating on Yelp. So lucky I found him.Now I know why he has a 5 star rating.

I did my research on the purchase and skimmed a couple of videos about the installation. The big day arrived and I pretty quickly realized I was going to need a professional. So I set up a detailed project in yelp, and had a contractor from about 40 miles away send an estimate in just a couple of minutes. Time and distance were going to cost an arm and a leg, so I let him know Id get back to him. A bit later I had another hit. It was Marc with Evolved Off Grid, and he was immediately available due to a shipping delay affecting the job he was on. AND his callout and hourly charges were *very* reasonable. I have never felt so lucky. He was on my doorstep in about an hour, and the install was on. It was obvious by the get-go that Marc is very knowledgeable with a ton of experience. He worked quickly and efficiently, and was able to actually converse without slowing down. When we ran into electrical issues, Marc took care to isolate the issue and find a solution. After determining the issue was a faulty connection on the unit, he was able to quickly resolve it. He kept his work area organized, had ample tools/supplies in his vehicle, and was careful to clean up afterwards making sure to leave behind any extra piping and connectors from his purchase at the store. When calculating the final bill, Marc capped the final fee at 3 hours. Due to no fault of his own, it went past this and he diligently found a solution, but didn't feel right charging the full amount, knowing it would create a hardship for us. He is a *good* man, and we are so grateful. So by now, you can see why we unequivocally recommend Marc and Evolved Off Grid for anything RV. His high level of expertise and integrity were a welcome relief to what surely would have been the install-from-hell had I attempted it on my own. Oh. And here is the icing on the cake: If there are any issues that arise with the unit's installation, he will happily come out and remedy the situation free of charge. Yes, you read that right. He guarantees his work. And I have a new RV guy. We couldn't be happier. Thanks Marc!

We purchased our first RV new in 2016, a class C Jayco Melbourne 24L, built on the diesel Sprinter…read more3500 chassis. It was a significant investment (which we have really enjoyed), and after a few disappointing customer service experiences from the dealer, after it came out from under warranty we decided to give our service business to Genesis. The team there has consistently done a great and pro-active job keeping our RV in top condition. But it's a recent "above and beyond" experience that proved to me the value of having Genesis on our side. We were on a coast-to-coast tour and as we neared our destination in Pennsylvania, through a moment of tired confusion at a BP station (which uses green handles for diesel when everyone else in the nation uses them for diesel) I accidentally put 4 gallons of regular fuel in my diesel tank. I had no idea what to do and didn't want to risk starting the engine. It was late on a weekend and the phone at Genesis went to an after-hours message. The owner, Brian, formerly attended our church, so I called a mutual friend who shared Brian's personal cellphone. Desperate, I called it, half expecting another answering machine message. But Brian himself answered, and immediately set out to give me guidance on exactly what I needed to do. He also asked me to call him back to let him know how it worked out. After following his instructions, we were relieved to make it safely to our destination in Pennsylvania. I'll be forever grateful for Brian's calm and reassuring instructions, as well as the expert attention of all he employs at Genesis.

I did quite a bit of digging for a center that specializes in RV electrical repair. We had a project that involved my replacing our old lead acid system with a much more capable and lighter LiFePo4 system. Now we are experiencing issues with the battery not getting fully charged and so I reached out. When the phone rang and the gentlemen picked up the phone, all he said was hello. I introduced myself, explained what I was looking for and asked if I called the right place. He said yep. I asked him his name and that's when it felt like it was going down hill. I should have excused myself and called elsewhere. Who sounds exasperated to have to say their own name at their own business? Anyway, I went on to explain my issue in detail, what I had done on my own to try and solve the issue and his reply was, do I want to fix it or him to do it. Again I'm thinking, sir, I came to you for help, what's with the attitude? So again, trying to be as sweet as pie so as to not upset Capt Cranky, I further explained that my vehicle, a brand new vehicle that he assumed I bought used and told me as much may not be putting out enough amps to activate an onboard charger and if this could be examined as well. His answer after learning it was a new vehicle was to take my truck back to the dealership and make them fix it. BUT! This was after asking condescending questions about why I didn't consider this variable and mitigate that. I told him that I just didn't know anymore. I've reached the end of my ability to problem solve and I wanted an expert to help at this point and that's why I was calling him. That's when he tells me that I need to bring my RV to his shop in Marysville (not Redmond), and that he needs actual time to solve the issue in its entirety and to make sure I allow for that at $160/hr. I'm thinking, ok, steep, but probably worth it....until he said this....and if you have a budget of about $300 which it sounds like you do, I'm not gonna look at it. At this point I told the gentlemen I'm done being berated and talked down to and this was a huuuge mistake calling his shop much less staying on the phone with this jacka$$. He hung up the phone and then texted me saying the call got dropped. Ok buddy. Save your money folks. There are other shops willing to make you feel like you called the right place. Clearly not Pacific RV.
