This place is the WORST! ever since it became Reliant it has gone down hit so fast. I had a biopsy which turned out to be cancerous and no one contacted me with the results. I finally got someone to call me back and they didn't explain it clearly, so I didn't even realize it was cancer. Then they gave me names of a surgeon and oncologist and told me to call them to make appointments but neither of them allow you to make appointments yourself. They misdiagnosed my mother's arthritis with Lyme disease even though the test was negative and put her on three weeks of doxy that she didn't need while refusing to give her anything else to alleviate her extreme pain. They have a sports medicine specialist they refer everyone to who misdiagnoses everyone. read more

It has been a very difficult experience with RELIANT MEDICAL. I get the feeling they don't really care and it is difficult communicating concerning any medical issues. I see they have a lot of bad reviews form patients. Any issues I am concerned about often takes multiple calls and poor follow up. I have never written a review, but I really felt like I needed to for NP Kimberly Adamson. I took my son in to see her to get established at a pediatric office. He's an incrediblely happy and healthy 15lb 2 month old. In hindsight of my appointment with him, she was nothing but condescending to me and has a major superiority complex. When working with medical professionals that are taking care of my child, I expect to work in partnership with them to do what's best for him. This was not the case with her. She treated me and acted as though I were the dumb new mom who didn't know anything and I must allow her to tell me what's best for my baby. One of the biggest things that makes me extremely uncomfortable was she retracted the uncircumcised tip of my sons penis. I had been told by the pediatrician in the hospital as well as several of my midwives that you're not supposed to do that until he's quite a bit older, but he will probably do it naturally in time anyway. I wish I would have listened to my instincts. I was standing next to her and she started all of a sudden retracting it and I panicked and tried to stop her. Instead of stopping, she kept her hand there and looked at me like I was some crazy mom and said "oh no, the head is actually back here. I would never do that." I'm not sure what "that" is, but she continued to retract it, despite the fact that I was acting EXTREMELY uncomfortable with it and verbalizing that. In hindsight I should have told her no, but I thought that maybe a slight retraction was ok since she's A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. I googled it when I got home and several trustworthy medical sources said to leave it alone. In fact, all medical resources on google agree that the foreskin should be left alone. With all her "authoritative" knowledge and obvious superiority complex, she didn't know that you aren't supposed to retract it and more than that, disregarded my obvious discomfort with what she was doing because she acted like I couldn't possibly know what I'm talking about. I don't understand how I can know something from a simple google search that a "medical professional" didn't know and disregarded my discomfort. I also mentioned that I was doing a delayed vax schedule. I explained that I read the ingredients and warnings on Fiser's website and a lot of vax's have a warning that certain ingredients listed are harmful for infants. Somehow, this comment was completely disregarded by her and ignored and she looked at me like I was crazy. I'm not talking about looking on some crazy conspiracy website, this info is from the source that creates the vax's. She treated me as though she knew better and I didn't know what I was talking about and that I was making a terrible decision to not listen to her. She also, as expected, pointed out that my child can die. I understand that drs have to have these discussions with the parents for legal reasons, but I don't appreciate the condescension and ignoring of my own research and acting like I couldn't possibly know what I'm talking about, though I am doing the research and care for my child more than her and want what is best for him. Every interaction through the appointment with her made me feel as though the decisions that I was making for my happy and healthy child were wrong because I am a new mom and apparently uninformed and I must listen to her because she's the authority on my child. Again, I wish to work in partnership with anyone caring for my child, but she was not one of those people that would allow that or allow me as a parent to have my own opinions without being demeaned. I'm sure there are other drs there that are lovely, and in fact the nurse that look his weight and measurements was very sweet. But because of this experience, especially because she clearly didn't know as much as she thought she knew and acted like she knew (I'm talking about the retraction of the penis), I will not be entrusting my child to this office again. read more

This place is just a night mare!! We visited my daughter's annual physical. Staffs made many clerical mistakes. I was questioned by my insurance company why my 16 year old daughter had the developmental screening for under 3 years old. ......Update from the last visit, night mare still continues.... The school nurse contacted me my daughter did not receive immunizations she needed to continue attending the school! She was supposed to get these when she visited last time at her annual physical. Now that we have to go back to get these missing shots, let's hope they have them in stock..... One thing I want to mention, the staff is trying to help and fix the problems. read more

This is the worst medical facility I've never had to deal with. No customer service at all. I called 7 times in a 5 hour period and waited on the phone for over 7 minutes while it rang. Bo one answered no answering service. Finally on the 7th time and waiting almost 10 minutes someone Finally answered the phone. This is completely unacceptable. read more

I was scheduled for an endoscopy after getting sick from medication prescribed by my pcp. My insurance didn't cover the cost of the endoscopy, and i couldn't pay the bill. Reliant discharged me as a patient and told me it was their policy that once a patient is discharged for non payment, they could never receive services from reliant again. I called and told them I was going through financial hardship. The lady in billing barked at me telling me that i should have paid my bill, even though I couldn't afford rent at the time and was going through eviction. She was smug, heartless and seemed to enjoy telling me I was now going to lose my pcp of 25 years. I was horrified and crying at the time. She didn't care. Reliant is supposed to be a nonprofit. I was with them since the time of Fallon and had never, in 25 years, had a billing issue with them. I was in tears pleading with billing to be more understanding. The woman I spoke to was cold and heartless. I was never once offered payment options that would work for me. Having to find another pcp was very difficult for me. I've never had another doctor, except the one I had been seeing there. Reliant should be ashamed of themselves for treating people so horribly, given the insurance difficulties the affordable care act has created. There are no words to express my disappointment in them. They 'zero tolerance' policies they have for people with financial difficulties are not becoming of a company that claims to be no profit. It's despicable. Horrible medical group!!! Still waiting for a call back from December. This place is a serious joke! Do not EVER go to Reliant Medical Group Worcester for OBGYN for Primary Care. My Primary from family medicine there knew my health history and yet still REFUSED to repeat the bloodwork, and wasted me another menstrual cycle to do the right tests (which is about 3 months for my condition). Finally got referred to OBGYN, then there I couldn't find the doctor, which wasted me more time. They gave you an abnormal test result and never bothered explaining it, leaving you thinking you have some serious issue and you cannot find them. Takes being on hold for 20-40 min each time i called to get to a rep for OBGYN department. And you will never ever be able to speak with your doctor and the nurses are not all that knowledgeable about the issue, but then the doctors will never call back. By never, I mean NEVER (no matter what they promise to call back, do not listen, because they never did and never will). I am still waiting for a call back from December 2020 and it's been nearly 6 month and I pestered them a lot. I finally decided to change to another medical group for OBGYN. All of Reliant branches behave like this, some worse than others, but across the board super unprofessional and zero response. They will also refer you to an NP and the NP will tell you she/he doesn't know and ask you to find an MD, wasting your money and time infinitely. OBGYN Doctors there are not bad, but that only matters if you can actually find them. They schedule their doctors so full they can't really take care of any of their patients. The insurance department and their medical departments also have some serious communication issue that at some point I felt like I assumed a full time position as their project manager. Reliant you're fired! Tried to get a prescription refilled (not a controlled substance) a few weeks after my PCP left, before I found a new PCP, and they wanted me to jump through all kinds of hoops; see another doc, see an ortho, go to PT .....! I had been on this med for a chronic issue for years. They obviously didn't read my chart or look at my history and didn't listen to my explanation! Fortunately and ironically, I was able to get the prescription refilled easily through another doc. Said it was a good med. for my condition. This is the second time we've tried using Reliant and won't go back. They seem increasingly concerned about profit and less and less about patient care. WW read more

The Pediatric staff and providers are great. The Medical Assistant, Michelle, is always friendly and efficient. Both Dr. Tadiri and Lisa Masciarelli, NP are wonderful with children. They take the time to listen and offer helpful advice and well thought out treatment plans. I've had to call the office a few times over the past couple years with questions/concerns and the nurses are very responsive & informative. The building is very clean and kid-friendly. I highly recommend this office. read more

I am at my wit's end with this practice and staff. The last 16 months it's been one problem after another with trying to have Healthcare in this office and communication. The doctor I'm seeing is great even though in six to eight office visit due to chronic health issues she has NEVER USED A stethoscope on me. Heck I don't even know if she owns one. Sorry doc. This is primary care has come to? OK I can deal with that but the train wreck of the office management or lack of is out of control. I've never had such a hard time with office staff and in my last twenty years of life and over two dozen major surgeries in top hospitals between NYC and Boston and other Reliant locations that run like well oiled machines this office misses the mark.. I've tried to share my concerns all the way to the directors office who bounced it back to the same over worked understaffed folks causing this review. When I first heard about this place I was so excited because I thought it was going to be great-- close to my house and a new, clean facility. I've gone through three primary care physicians in less than a year because they keep leaving this place. When you go in, no one is doing their job. They stand around doing practically nothing. I handed one of the ladies at the desk a simple piece of paper and told her I just needed my doctor to fill it out so that I am able to go to school. It's something that takes less than five minutes. All she literally has to do is fill out my height and weight and say that I'm in good standing health (she saw me a week ago for my psychical; I just forgot to bring the paper). This doctor leaves in two days and I gave them the piece of paper eight days ago. WHAT is the hold up? You're not going to tell me they're busy because no one is ever in there! I've gone in four times now and they continue to tell me that it still isn't done. Like I said, she leaves in two days and so help me god if I have to track her down and go to her new office all because they struggled to do their jobs in Holden.... Do yourself a favor and just commute to a better place. Reliant isn't worth your time and they clearly know it- that's why everyone keeps leaving. read more

This place is awful stay away. You never get to see your doctor, only a nurse practitioner or PA. the building is clean yes and looks really nice, but I need to be treated for an illness, am not looking for a nice building. When you call them, the secretary schedule your appointment and does not transfer you to a nurse . She has no clue what she's doing and she double books and you receive a call later canceling your appointment. My wife went in feeling achy and with a low-grade fever and they gave her antibiotics for strep which she does not have and they did not test her for the flu or pneumonia. The following day we went to the Urgent Care, and what do you know, they said they should have never prescribed antibiotics and they should have done a chest x-ray for possible pneumonia, which she does not have thank God. Never going back there again. I'm done!!!! read more

There are 5 people in my family that have Drs in this practice. It is the most poorly run understaffed organization I have ever done business with. It is impossible to get an appointment. If you call to talk to a nurse or make an appointment you have to give your number and wait for a call back. I am a teacher and cannot get random calls in the middle of the day but they don't care. My daughter has been trying to get seasickness patches for 2 weeks for her cruise and it has taken 4 phone calls all saying they would call them in. We are a week away from the cruise and still no prescription. Also they are farming everything out to specialists because they are overbooked. That means a much higher co pay for me! They have done this to 3 family members over very small issues that a primary care Dr should be able to handle. I am done! read more

My wife and I have used (different) PCP's here for quite few years. The doctors are fine. The Reliant system has improved recently from typically okay to really good. We've had some medical incidents requiring doctor and hospital visits and have been very pleased to get spontaneous follow-up phone calls from the nursing staff asking if further help was needed. I had a puzzling problem on a Sunday morning and wondered if I needed to see a doctor. So I called the office which was of course closed, but just by staying on the line after the pre-recorded announcement I was automatically connected to a nurse. She listened carefully and then spoke with an on-call doctor to get me the information I needed right then. We've been to this office many times and have always been treated promptly and pleasantly. The two stars I give this place is only for my primary care doc Kristen Newsom who is so kind and wonderful. The rest of this place I would give negative stars if possible. The reception staff is so beyond rude, uncompassionate, and does nothing to try to mitigate or respond to patient concerns. About a month ago I had a cut on my finger that wasn't healing so I went to the doctor to have him look at it. He took two pictures and sent them off to the dermatologist well about three days later while away on business I was told the dermatologist wanted me to go to a hand surgeon to have a biopsy. Naturally I was a little taken back. So I asked to schedule an appt with the derma they said they were not accepting any new patients. About two days went by and the scab fell off and my finger is back to normal. How does a so called doctor make such a determination from two pictures to tell me to go and have my hand cut up before even physically looking at it! See ya reliant will never ever go there again very unprofessional!!!! If I could give them no stars I would have!!!! read more
