I rely on prescription-strength allergy medication (Zyrtec D) because over-the-counter options do not work for me. The week of Thanksgiving, I realized I was running low, so I called the office and spoke with Christopher, who said he would speak with Brenda--the provider I normally see--and that she would call me back. I never received a call. The following Monday, I called again and was told there was suddenly a letter in my file discontinuing my medication because I've been on it for five years. This was news to me. On 12/3/25, I spoke with the office manager, who said she would look into the situation with both Rob and Brenda and call me back. Once again, no one followed up. The staff at this facility knows I get seriously sick from allergies, yet no one seems concerned or willing to communicate. After this experience, I cannot recommend Gracepointe to anyone. Their lack of follow-through and disregard for patient needs is unacceptable.

We're very glad we took the recommendation! Located about 15-20 minutes from Nashville, this place isn't your average "urgent care". As soon as you walk in, you're met with a warm, homey kind of feel with a very friendly receptionist to help you get checked in. Instead of the typical plastic office chairs you'd see, they have comfortable lounge chairs and sofas to sit in while you wait. Everything was extremely clean and well put together. Even the patient rooms have a nice, homey touch with bathroom type sinks instead of the typical hospital sinks. Our nurse and doctor in call, Jordan, were both very friendly and helpful. We were able to get my fianceè blood work and a bunch of other tests I was surprised they could do on site. They are very upfront, honest and extremely helpful throughout. I'll definitely be going there next time I need to go to an urgent care (hopefully that's not anytime soon!)

I finally had to tell him that I graduated from Vanderbilt and this is not normal diarrhea and the cramping is not the type of pain that I am used to when I do have diarrhea. I asked if they did testing for cyclosporiasis and he said he did not know what it was. I paid 130 dollars for him to try and scoot me out of the door with some imodium before ever listening to what issues I had, what food I had eaten or anything. I had to tell him that when I had appendicitis the cramping was far worse than this but this cramping pain is definitely not something I experience regularly. He brushed it off and said I should try the health department. He wrote me a prescription for antibiotics. I won't take them until I can get tested for the parasite.

I proceeded to show my confirmation email and was told to wait. 30 minutes later Dr. Oruganti met me in the lobby accusing me of not having a confirmed appointment and that her online system wasn't working. Somehow she was making it seem like this was my fault and told me I'd have to wait "who knows how long" before I could see her because her books were full. If I did not have a confirmed appointment that her system informed me was CONFIRMED, I would not have driven all the way from Lebanon to see her. The worst part was, she provided no solution and only made it seem like it was my fault there was a mistake. (rudely and in front of everyone in the lobby, I should mention.) If I were you, I would steer clear of this practice, I sure am.

I went in because I wasn't feeing good and hoped to get a medication to relieve terrible cold symptoms. They quickly tested for covid, strep and flu which were all negative. It was then suggested that those aren't thorough enough and they could take another swab and send to their lab which would be ready the next day. I asked about cost which the provider said she wasn't sure (big surprise) but wouldn't be much and insurance should cover it anyway. First of all it was close to 3 days before I got results and was already feeling better at that point. When I called to get an update after 48 hours I was told it could take up to 72 hours. So that was the first miscommunication. The second and worst is that the lab they sent to are 3rd party...not their lab as I was told. They have no ties to the billing and just hand you off to them to bill you whatever they see fit. They ran an insane amount of completely unnecessary tests that $1214.05. Insurance does not cover these tests because they found them to be medically unnecessary, which they were. I am assuming that instead of spending the time to decide exactly what tests should have been requested based on my specific case they chose to send a free for all and have them test for everything under the sun. I had request to have the break down of the bill sent to me (not easy) and then research what each test meant and understand the codes. I won't go into too much detail on my finding except to say that 90% of the tests should not have been done and some were billed/coded to be redundant resulting in excess charges. While I find the billing practices of the lab (Phase 2 Labs) unethical, I also hold Physicians Urgent Care responsible for lack of disclosure and overall careless in their testing practices. My advice is to take the time to ask more thorough questions when they offer to send any testing off to the labs. Mainly what exactly are the tests and why they are suggesting them. Maybe that will give them pause to think that maybe each test that their patients will be charged for should be applicable to the person.

Instead, the doctor's office coded the visit as "establishing care," resulting in my insurance only covering half of the cost. At no point did anyone in the office explain that this change in coding would lead to additional charges. When I checked in, the receptionist even took my credit card information and assured me it would not be charged since the visit should be covered. Later, I received a surprise bill anyway. When I called their billing support team for clarification, they offered no help and made no effort to resolve the issue. This lack of transparency and accountability -- from the front desk to billing -- left me feeling misled and frustrated. Patients deserve clear communication about costs and honest assistance when problems arise, but this office failed on both fronts.

The price is very reasonable compared to other offices in the Nashville area, which immediately put me at ease. 2. Dr. Steve Samudrala is incredibly kind and professional. He genuinely cared about my well‑being and even took time to give me thoughtful advice about some health conditions I have. That meant a lot to me. 3. The immigration team is absolutely amazing. Morgan scheduled my appointment over the phone and was so nice and patient -- she made me feel much better about what can be a very intimidating process. Amber is such a wonderful woman. She turned what could have been a boring and stressful immigration medical procedure into a great experience. On the day of my exam, I actually made two mistakes on my paperwork (completely my fault -- I misspelled my name first, then added an extra number to my passport number ). I can laugh about it now, but at the time I was overwhelmed with work, life, and immigration stress. Amber and another newer team member helped me redo my paperwork twice without any frustration, only kindness and support. They truly saved my day and made everything so pleasant. My USCIS application has now been submitted for about a month, and I'm very grateful I chose this office. Thank you to Dr. Samudrala, Amber, Morgan, and the entire team for making such an important step in my immigration journey a positive and supportive experience. I truly appreciate you all.

Going to Family Care Center and experiencing their "caregivers" was a colossal waste of time and a…read moregenuine disappointment. If this clinic wants to present itself as a mental health provider, leadership might want to revisit what "care" actually looks like. Walking in, I was immediately met with a barrage of paperwork focused on billing--making sure charges are clear to them, not to you. Not exactly the warmest introduction for someone seeking mental health support. The next interaction was just as impersonal. After giving my name, I was directed to step on a scale and provide measurements--no introduction, no explanation, no basic courtesy. It felt more like processing inventory than welcoming a person. Then came the actual "care" session. The provider launched into a rapid-fire explanation of all the ways the clinic can bill you, delivered with the energy of a fast-talking sitcom character. She shared that she knew I had already been given all of those details though just wanted to recap again. Then, she told me why she thought I was there which was not accurate. I asked her to slow down and please take the time to have dialogue instead of talking at me. She never asked meaningful questions or or make a genuine attempt to understand why I was there, which made any real conversation about mental health impossible. Overall, the experience felt dismissive, disinterested, and transactional from start to finish. The caregiver, in particular, seemed better suited to a role with minimal human interaction - perhaps guarding an empty museum wing, because meaningful engagement was clearly not part of the approach. I am genuinely appalled and disturbed this clinic presents itself as having any aptitude in mental health care. None of them demonstrated an ounce of intellectual curiosity or communication skills which should be critical in caregiving roles.
