He…read morecould have denied the 2 gentlemen service as they were well past the time, but due to what appeared to be miscommunication in their prior stop, he got them what they needed and got going. He also saw us, even though I got the times wrong and checked in 15 minutes after our appointment. I was handed an estimate of our services and asked how I'd like to care for it. He checked my toddler's arms for a vein and then sought to consult with a colleague. His colleague came back, checked again, and agreed that what he had found previously would work. She was very gentle with my toddler, and it was, to my surprise, the smoothest process I could ever imagine. They both complimented her on how well she handled it (zero tears), and she was rewarded with stickers by the female tech. The male tech let us out the door at 4:39 pm, and I thanked them for their patience with us. As someone who works with the general public, it was all handled exactly as I would have performed it, from our experience to others we saw.

I have filled out their on line forms a dozen times and they never respond? I have to call these doctors repeatedly to find out where my blood work is and I am lucky to get to get blood work once a month. I've tried to correct this for months and they have left me in limbo. This use to be a good company, but any linger.

Wow. I have previously gone to the Mid-Town location for imaging and biopsies. This was the…read morelocation they could get me in the soonest. First of all, it's really dated and it shows. The carpets were stained, the walls were mucked up, and everything honestly looked like someone didn't care anymore. And to be honest I'm not sure they did (care). I went for a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound after a suspicious mammogram and MRI at another location. After 6 hours I left sore and really upset. I will spare you the details of my personal journey and medical history but I will tell you this... - I was shuffled from room to room for hours without being told what was really happening. - each time I was left in a room I was not told how long I would be there or what would be next -my wishes and desire were totally ignored. I was pressured into services (a biopsy) when I explained I wasn't quite ready. - I laid crying on the table and no one said a word - I was talked down to by the radiologist who told me MANY times I did not need to be seeing my referring doctor because I didn't have a strong family history and this was all pretty unnecessary (as she was performing a biopsy that SHE recommended) - I was not given appropriate materials when I left (2 small ice packs and no bandages aside from my steri strips. I bled through my bra on my way home and woke up so bruised). - the radiologist lacked ANY compassion or understanding and made inappropriate comments I do not care if I have to wait a month to get into the midtown location - I will never come back here.

The techs who took care of me have been doing this for years. They were friendly, knowledgeable and they tried to keep things laid back and as comfortable as possible. As awesome as they were,I was most impressed when the doctor came in to see me personally after all the tests were run to give me the results and to see if I had any questions. Yes, they give you the results before you walk out the door and they do their best to make sure you have all of your questions answered. The only reason I don't give five stars is a snafu with the appointment. Tip: there is a difference between a screening mammogram and a diagnostic mammogram. Make sure your doctor writes the order for the one you need and make sure Saint Thomas schedules you for the one you need! Wait times can also be long due to the personalized care they try and give everyone but I personally consider the wait time well worth it to get that personalized care when it is my turn.

There was 1 lady there working all by herself but luckily they weren't busy. She was super nice and professional and made the whole experience better than my previous visit. In total it took about 15 minutes from enter to exit. That's how it should be. I was allowed 4 minutes this time instead of 2 and I wasn't treated like a druggie or looked down upon at all. The last visit I had was not good, I felt I was labeled as soon as I walked in. Anyways, I passed the test we chatted and that was it. Like I said, much better experience this time. Glad things have changed there. If I ever need another drug test I will try to choose this place. Thanks.

There was no need for me to feel that way. Hillsboro Imaging provided a safe, thorough and positive experience for me.* Arriving here in the aftermath of a snow event, I was concerned (again, previous review) about the parking situation. There was no situation. There was available parking in the rear of the building (dedicated) as well as parking to the side. I didn't notice the situation in front, as that wasn't the way I drove there but I didn't notice anyone grousing about it in the waiting room. Let's talk about the waiting room: it's large, it has ample seating for everyone and a TV to keep you company while you wait. Between checking in (at my appointed time) and walking back for the appointment, I waited 18 minutes. I might complain about that but HI fit me in to be seen earlier than my scheduled appointment so I wasn't about to moan about a relatively small wait time. Once behind the door, I was greeted and instructed to engage in some pre-screening (literally) procedures. From there, I was walked back into a private room, prepped and had what was to await me described in detail. When I got to the hadron collider, I was ready. The process was easy and despite being in the room by myself, a tech/nurse walked me through each step via speaker. I was comfortable throughout my time here and the attitudes i encountered ranged from (curt) professional to unquestionably nice and patient. The only o_0 moment was when I was done with the procedure and needed to get changed back into my street clothes. The tech/nurse (different from the one who walked me back, prepped me and led me through the procedure) stood over me waiting for me to get up. I had to ask for her to leave the room, close the door and give me some privacy (as much as possible given the large window in the room). I came here expecting something awful (thanks to the reviews). I left feeling relieved. I think it the responsible thing to pay it forward and help ease any minds sent here. You're in good hands. *Thank goodness for insurance. But that's an entirely different topic. What a day to be discussing health care...

The staff was able to see me promptly (which may be because it was 7:45 am but if you're in a crunch I'd recommend morning appointments) and they were efficient and kind with their work. If I had any feedback to offer, in my last mri at a hospital in another state I was given headphones and a pandora playlist to pass the time versus the earplugs I was given here, but that's neither here nor there. There was plenty of available parking in front of and beside and behind the building, and there were tons of spots still open when I left, so that's no issue. The staff were courteous in answering my questions about the procedure and helpful.
