Compared to a couple of similar warehouse stores closer to our home in San Francisco, this one feels a bit better organized and easier to navigate. On this visit, we came in to pick up a couple of bags of Landmark coffee beans and return two shirts we had previously purchased that didn't fit quite right. The return process was straightforward; we waited in a short line, and the whole thing took maybe 15 minutes from start to finish. They had the coffee in stock, which made that part quick and easy, and afterward, we spent some time casually browsing the aisles to see what else they had. Overall, it turned out to be a smooth and positive shopping trip.

This Sam's club is apparently one of not that many in the greater Sacramento area. We started…read morecoming here for gas after getting a Walmart+ subscription which includes privileges to use Sam's club gas without being Sam's club members, which we might become later, but not at the moment. In any case, the Costco South Sac gas lines are off the hook long all the time so when we don't have time and now that we have an alternative, we started coming here. The lines are much more reasonable. Most recently, we came on a Monday evening at about 6 pm and there wasn't too much of a line at all. The line I chose was the right one for once and we only waited a couple minutes if that before we got a spot. Easy peasy. Wife got out her Walmart app and The QR code and successfully got it scanned quickly and she had a credit card attached to it already so it was all good to go, we filled up and were on our way to an event. Pro tip: Enter on the Northwest side of the Sam's club lot to get to the gas station without having to navigate the whole parking lot and dodge other customers who are there to shop in the store if you're just trying to get gas and then exit out the Southeast side of the lot towards the front entrance of the lot to get out of the gas station faster and be well on your way to hop on the freeway or get on Power Inn or Calvine. All in all, I like this Sam's Club for gas, just wish there were more locations like Costco does.
