The ants were gone, until recently (which wasn't entirely surprising, I was told they would probably come back in a few months.) I called Robert again on a Monday and he said he would call me back to schedule. He didn't - I called him back on Tuesday and he said we check the schedule and get back to me. He finally did and advised he would be at my home on Wednesday. He didn't show. When I called the company number to see if someone was going to show, I was told that Robert had fallen off a ladder the day before, but he was fine being discharged from the hospital that day and somebody would get back to me. No one got back to me. I didn't call another exterminator because I was told Robert would still come out and I didn't want to take the business away from him. The ant problem began to accelerate and I called the company again a few days later. I asked if someone could come out that day, as I have a crawling infant at home and the ants are a real problem. I was told that someone would be there in the late afternoon or early evening. I waited at home all afternoon and night and no one showed or called. I have yet to receive a follow-up call or explanation and I hired a different exterminator who immediately came out and fixed the problem. The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1, is because on the first trip out Robert was very timely and friendly and the problem was at least temporarily resolved. This could be a unique occurrence, but as a result I will not be using the company again.

The company may do their job well (which, of course, I can't confirm or deny) but their lack of response shows very poor initial customer service.

Chris came to my house exactly when he said he would. He took his time and sprayed both inside & outside. The chemicals seemed to be odorless. After he leaves, I see dead ants for a day or two. After a day or two, I don't see a single ant for two or three years. It's amazing! The cost is way cheaper then what I was doing which was spraying with the canned stuff. So I had a bed bug scare and decided to purchase the basic bundle from this site. (when there's one there's going to be more) After having an exterminator out, who found no trace of bed bugs I decided that it would be better to spend ~$65 and get a mattress cover as insurance rather that let our $1000+ mattress get infested if there were more to come. When the bundle arrived, my first thought right away was that the material its made out of is very cheap. Then when I went to put it on the bed I found a hole in the mattress cover rendering it useless. I called American Wellness Supply and asked for a refund but was told that they would like the opportunity to correct their mistake and send out a new one. I asked if the new one arrived damaged or fell apart quickly if I would be given a refund and was told that they would. The second bundle arrived without damage and I was able to put it on the bed. I still thought the material was cheap and wondered if it would hold up.... it did not. After sleeping on the cover for ~4 weeks the corners started to tear and it has now fallen apart. I contacted the company to request the refund that I was promised but have been told that whoever I spoke with didn't have the authority to promise that and that they will only refund within 10 days of receiving the first order. They also offered to upgrade my bundle (no thanks). I have opened up a dispute with my bank and been told to return the defective items but the person I'm able to contact will not give me a return address. (I'll soon be sending it to the address on their website) Fortunately we have not seen any new critters...The idea of a mattress cover as insurance against bedbugs is a great idea but this website takes advantage of people's fears without providing a real quality solution.
