Drivers Teambaggs was excellent in communicating status and coordinating delivery, their excellent, prompt and polite responses relieved a lot of stress as severe weather was on the way. Before going to Reliable, I attempted to contract a local carrier that was 20% less. They were rude and offensive!!! They wouldn't answer simple questions and responded with attitude! As I've read now others reviews. I'm saddened by they have a good reputation and the service I received. I'd have to say the disclosure could be more out front. This company transports race cars that can be say temperamental. I had my appointment set. 3 hours before pick I'm told I'm being bumped for race cars. After complaining and also being on a time frame. They sent a driver to retrieve my car. Car started loaded. Off it went. Driver calls me the follow day, car won't start. Not sure of issue. But assured they move car in and out of trailer for other cars to be loaded. According to driver he had another driver help. Next day car is to be delivered but driver has no help to unload car and will just gave to leave on street in front of house with a garage. Or I needed to call a tow service to extract car from carrier. Mind you I paid up front $1200. For a reputable company to transport my baby. Are you kidding? You don't have a contingency plan for a car start issue??? Are you kidding me? These guys are "Professionals"?!? We had to somehow find a tow truck company who would help. Turned down by AAA been a member 40 years (That's a whole other review). This gentleman shows saves the day all the while I'm told by Reliable carrier it's not our fault your car won't start. I had these guys deliver a Ms. Pac-Man machine from Massachusetts to Iowa. I used UShip and they promptly gave me a bid. It wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive. From my research this is their bread-n-butter and they supply a much needed service. Pickup and Delivery of anything to anywhere. Especially helpful if you buy from Auction sites. I'd use these guys again. Quick, courteous, clean, and easy to work with. PS: The delivery guy didn't have a dolly. I provided one. I didn't take it as a negative. If you're looking for a quick review and don't have time to read my entire story, your main takeaway from my review is that I can't heap enough praise and appreciation upon Michael and Chloe with Reliable Carriers. Not only did they arrive for pickup at the exact time they promised, but also arrived at the delivery destination at precisely the time promised and this was after I missed their day-ahead calls which put them in a major time crunch right before Thanksgiving! This was a complicated transport as it included 5 motorcycles and one "drift car" which, if you know drift cars, has the front tires on a slant. And, the car didn't run - again, if you know drift cars, this is common! But the outstanding work that Michael and Chloe did, and why I'd give them 10 stars if that was an option, is described below. Brandy H. at the Reliable office gave me a 1 - 3 week pickup window and said she'd do her best to have the driver call the day before they would pick up. This was critical as I would have to fly out to meet them at the pickup location, since I did not live anywhere near there. Indeed, Michael and Chloe called me the day before but it was the one day I've ever had my phone service knocked out by an ATT network outage, so I never received their several calls or texts (they are persistent!). The next day, they called to say they'd be there on that day but there was no way I could get out there. Michael asked if I wanted to reschedule for pre- or post-Thanksgiving. Choosing pre-Thanksgiving meant that they would have significantly less time to drive nearly 2,000 miles home to be with their family. And, since my delivery location was in the opposite direction, my transport actually added onto their drive time. Their only concern, however, was that a pre-turkey day pickup could mean a very pricey airline ticket for me. Luckily the airfare was reasonable. Despite the huge inconvenience to them that was caused by my inability to get their original calls, they arrived on time for the rescheduled pickup and were just the tops in friendliness, professionalism and patience. While Chloe diligently checked all the VIN's and took photos of everything, we chatted as if we were longtime friends. This move was causing me a lot of stress and her friendliness and reassurances completely erased the knot in my stomach. Michael had plenty of experience dealing with drift cars and the detachable steering wheel, and he and Chloe had a precise communication system between them to push and steer this non-running car onto their truck - which, by the way, is an immaculate enclosed 18-wheeler. He's also just as friendly as Chloe, and both have a wonderful sense of humor! They promised to meet me the following day at 10am and at 9:55am, I saw their bright orange rig coming up the street o meet me at the destination. First to come off was the drift car, and it was tough to move. Michael worked with my son (the drift car owner) to "bump start" the car (imagine a Prius towing the drift car in reverse and then hearing the engine roaring to life - I wish I recorded it!). Then came the motorcycles. And, thanks to Michael's forward-thinking and detail-oriented ways, he noticed the race bike didn't have a kickstand but was being held upright by a separate stand. He brought that with him from the pickup location because it was the only way to ensure the bike would be upright in storage once it arrived. It's the little details like this that makes Michael and Chloe genuine pros in the business. Figuring out how to move all these vehicles from Nevada to California was causing me so much stress. Michael and Chloe made this the best part of the move. They very clearly cared about each motorcycle and the car as if they were their own possessions. I truly cannot say enough good things about them. It is not an exaggeration to declare that they restored my faith in humanity, and together with Brandy in the office, gave me hope that honest companies who take pride in their work still exist. read more

On 9/25/2024 at 12:14pm I booked a transport for my vehicle with Unreliable Carriers. I was told 1 to 3 weeks for my vehicle to be transported from Illinois to Tennessee. They required full payment up front. As of this date 10/22/2024 my vehicle has not been assigned to a driver. Reliable Carriers could not have done a better job shipping my classic VW Beetle from California to Oregon. Paul was communicative and was able to pick up the car 2 days after the earliest pick up day I designated. We agreed upon a meet-up spot where he could maneuver his truck, and the very next day I had my vehicle in perfect condition. Choosing a carrier to ship our car from Atlanta, out to no-man's land Colorado, was a little stressful.....but turned out so well! We contacted a few of the majors (InnerCity, Passport, and Reliable). One of them did not service the area. One of them charged extra for the rooftop box and delivery would have been a few hours away to a much larger town. Reliable 1. Delivered to a small mountain town, and 2. Had a very competitive price, did not charge for our Thule rooftop box, and had very good communication up front (over the phone) on what to expect. Now to where the rubber hits the road. We received a call from our driver, Ed, a day ahead to schedule time/place of pickup. Ed was a rock star. The car was thoroughly inspected and scratches documented ahead of time. The car was secured very well (all 4 wheels). Re delivery, we were kept up to date on expected delivery time, and found a meeting place in our small mountain town. The car, not an exotic, just your run of the mill Subaru Forester, arrived in Perfect condition. And attached is a pic of the Reliable truck in the mountains, to boot. (Ed mentioned he drives this truck for pickup/delivery in NYC....that boggles my mind). This turned out to be such a wonderful, easy process, and I am so thankful for the staff at Reliable. I finally got around to writing this review. My mom asked me to write it as she's not a Yelper. It took a while to post as I stumbled across the paper with her 'review' and when I did a Google search there seemed to be numerous Reliable Carriers. I told my dad this and he found the business card for the driver he was so happy with - Bryan Barrington (trailer number LG229 and truck number 30560). Since there are four locations listed on the business card ( AZ, FL, CA and MI) I did some internet research and saw that Brian lives in Ohio and so MI is the closest to him (and it's the corporate headquarters) and so I'll post the review on the MI Yelp page. My dad bought a very nice car at the Auburn auto auction last September. Here's what my mom wanted me to write: "Two of your drivers deserve to be recognized. The first driver helped us hook up the trailer to our pickup. He was driving his rig out West. I do not know his name. The second driver, Brian, from Cleveland, attached the four straps that hold our pickup to the trailer. Both men were polite and so helpful as my husband Joe and I were not able to do this work ourselves. You should be very proud to have such gentlemen in your employment. Sincerely, (Mom's name)." The funny thing is Brian and the other driver helped my parents BEFORE anyone knew that Brian would later be the one bringing the car my dad purchased back to Pennsylvania. When he and the other driver helped my parents they saw they were struggling with the trailer my dad had attached to his pickup (my dad sold a car at the auction and had it on the trailer but didn't want to bring the car he bought home on said trailer as it was much nicer than the one he brought to sell). It's both random and funny that later on after buying a car my dad arranges to have it shipped back to Pennsylvania and when he meets the shipper it's Brian. So random and improbable. i bought 2 cars at the Mecum car auction in Arizona on 3-8-24 . reliable transport had a booth set up to offer their delivery services for auction participants. I hired reliable to deliver both cars to South Carolina a cost of $5500 paid up front. As of today 3-22-24. i have no idea when my cars will go on a truck. Reliable did validate that they have my cars in their storage facility today but still do not have a scheduled pick up or load date that they could share. apparently i have to wait til more cars are scheduled to come to SC before they will load a truck. If you want your cars quickly or you want a reasonable schedule/plan. Reliable may not be your best option. First class pricing with no service or communication to support the pricing. They did say that i could line up other transport if i needed them faster or wanted a guaranteed schedule, however i would owe them for storage and security on my cars while they have been at their location. What a great feeling that gives me. I will give updates on this thread regularly to tell how this story unfolds, i realize all businesses have problems, but what a good business does when it has identified a problem , separates them from a bad business. I needed to get my 1972 Road Runner from my house to a paint shop about 30 miles away for some touch-ups. The paint shop said they could get to it if I could have them the car within a few days as they were slow. If not, then it would be next month. I contacted Damon at Reliable. He had a driver at my house the next day. Brandon arrived with a small appropriate sized trailer for the pickup. He spent a great deal of time inspecting the car and taking many photos of it and the defects. He sent these photos to me and we agreed on the condition of the car. Several weeks later when the paint work was complete, the shop called me up to say the car was done and that it would be best if I could take the car as soon as possible since they did not want anything to happen to the fresh paint. A quick morning call to Damon got Brandon to the paint shop by 1pm. Once more he performed a very detailed inspection, loaded the car, and we both drove off. Because of a recent snow storm, the road to my house was slushy and the driveway was icy. I was reluctant to have the car unloaded in either spot! However Brandon said not to worry, he has seen worse. He negotiated the narrow icy driveway and backed up just about right to the garage door. I just needed to drive the car a few feet. Mission accomplished. Damon and Brandon were a great help to me. I had the constraint of the paint shop scheduling and the difficult weather conditions and Damon and Brandon really delivered on the "Reliable" promise. I've used Reliable Carriers 3 times in the last 6 months. 2 out of 3 experiences were horrible. No communication, horrible customer service, rude and not accommodating whatsoever. Unless you're buying at an auction with a Reliable truck sitting right there ready to load your car, you better go elsewhere. Arranged to ship my '54 Healey earlier this year from PA to AZ with a hold over stop in Chandler until we arrived in AZ. Pickup was fine, I drove the car to where the semi could load it and drove it onto the lift, and driver eased it in and secured it. When car arrived in AZ, the driver asked me to back it out as he said there was no way he could fit in it as this is a small British sports car. I backed the car out and noticed that the brakes were pretty much useless and clutch was grinding badly going into first or reverse. Car was in perfect working order when it was loaded. My only guess is that when the car was unloaded and loaded in Chandler that whomever drove or moved it on and off the trucks and around the facility did not know how to drive a stick or was wearing huge boots and had multiple pedals pressed at the same time. Either way, I am looking at a brake and clutch job to get the car back on the road safely. No damage to body, paint, interior, or chrome was noticed which is what you sign off on when delivered. read more

Reliable picked up a car on December 20th from Alabama and the car is still not here in Texas on the 31st of December. Have left multiple voicemails with no response. No one picks up the phone. Don't be fooled by the stars and pricey rates, ( I still don't understand why ). Seems like their association and exclusivity with the big Auction Houses/Manufactures, etc gives them the right to the attitude and ways they conduct their business. AFTER they picked up my car from Mecum Auction in Monterey CA, where they hold the exclusivity, and on the way to NYC, I was told they couldn't deliver to the destination promised, but instead it was dropped at JFK Airport after dark and it was my responsibility to get it from there, NICE !!! Their response to the inconvenience was a promise to a partial refund. After a month passed by and several lies and excuses, the refund still stands as a broken promise. I have been using Intercity Lines many times before, ( as Jay Leno does ) and never had any problems. They are nice honest people who tell the truth in advance. I guess Reliable got to big for their own good, and being honest is no longer a priority. read more
