Then I had Jose replace the Burnt Touchpad on a Kitchen Stove that was almost 12 years old. Because the Oven was so old he had to find the part and come back. Jose found the part and in a few days I had what looked like a new Stove. I saved hundreds of dollars because Jose was able to fix my appliances instead of recommending that I buy new appliances. This level of service was greatly appreciated, particularly given the inconvenience that malfunctioning appliances can cause. While not every problem was ultimately fixed, their dedication to addressing the issues was commendable. The timely communication was certainly a positive aspect of their service. My wife and I were only looking for a front load washer with great cu ft, since we have a big family. We were approached by the American Sweet Heart (Marcos). He went above and beyond to not only on trying to sell but asked the right questions and was very friendly and NOT pushy like lots of typical sales people. He heard our demands and met them by giving us different options that fit our budget. Branded options if I didn't say... Original prices were mod to high but they offered a hell of a discount I couldn't refuse and still walked out with an affordable cost including the delivery and installation. It was such a great experience and cost that we decided to buy another fridge and return the previous one we bought from a different company/vendor; saving us money and having better performing branded appliances. I explained my situation to him over the phone, and he worked with my schedule, even though it was gonna take me over an hour to get home that day. He said that since I was local to the area that he'd be willing to send a technician out later than normally, which first off is amazing customer service. We agreed on a time of when I would be home and sure enough, right on the dot. The technician was at my house ready with everything that he needed. He came in very professionally asked where the unit was and began working once I explained what the situation was going on with the dryer. After about 15 minutes, he told me exactly what was wrong, the thermostat went out on the dryer and he was going to verify if they had a replacement part inside of the truck. The whole repair took less than 45 minutes, from fully disassembling, the dryer, finding the issue, and fixing the thermostat, while also completely putting together the dryer all over again and testing that the heating element was working properly. I was originally going to go with one of the repair teams that my dryers manufacturer recommended, but Mr. Vic and his team absolutely blew the price out of the water. This is the first time, and definitely not the last time, that I would be calling Mr. Vicks to Service any of my appliances. You have definitely earned a customer for the long haul.

Had a mixed experience with Victor, the first time was fine replacing a dryer roller. This recent…read moretime they charged $230 to supposedly repair a thermostat issue, that ended up being a misdiagnosis and was not the actual issue. I ended up having to clean a dirty sensor myself with a screwdriver, a rubbing alcohol wipe, a vacuum and a YouTube tutorial. Victors "solution" was to bypass the sensor by forcing the machine into timed dry mode which bypasses the sensor, not exactly a proper fix for the issue. My dryer has ten sensor dry settings that become useless with Victor's "fix", only two actual dry settings would be usable. The timed dry forced it into the highest heat setting also which ended up burning my son's plush stuffies, the sensor dry option would have better regulated the temperature. Don't think I'll be using Victor's repair in the future. Discovered after they left that they broke off a piece of the baseboard molding, forgot to re-install the lint screen and left a puddle of dish soap all over the floor after they used it to slide the stackable washer/dryer combo out. Not exactly the best experience this last time, best of luck if you decide to use them, it's a mixed bag of results.

All of the basic fixes failed, and they all said we needed a full replacement. We gave Southwest a call for one last opinion based on a friend's recommendation, and Erick saved us. He spent 2+ hours in our sweltering attic troubleshooting every possible issue, until he found a quirk in our condensate drainage that no one else figured out. Once he accounted for that, it was quick work to purge our line and clear a clog that was responsible for the overflow in our attic. He knew we were resigned to replace the AC and easily could have told us the same. But he worked extra hard on our behalf, provided an affordable fix, and stayed longer to clean up the shoddy work from the past vendors. Admittedly it took a little longer to get Southwest out to our home, but I now know it's because they're going to take their time and really solve your problem. Not just rush through the call and upsell you on work you don't need. Heroes.

I was relieved that the service technician was able to do the inspection, made recommendations and tires replaced, plus alignment performed all in the span of less than 2 hours. We have used America's Tires in the past at their former location in Long Beach Town center. I was happy that Brandi presented options that could fit my low mileage driving style ( thanks to working from home since 2020 pandemic). I opted for Yokohama tires, plus the available free monthly air check and every 6 months balance service that came with purchase. Quite busy location, every technician was courteous; I received updates as the work progressed. Francisco did the alignment and overall I feel my car drives smoothly now. In the end I purchased a rim for a spare tire, using one of the existing tires that were going to be trashed anyway. All cars run on tires after all, and I wanted a safe ride that did not require replacing until about 10 years after, given my low mileage. Tires cost from less than $100 each to over $200 depending on your driving needs. Bonus: clean all gender restrooms with changing table, comfortable and air cons waiting room.

Because I bought the tires from them and I also purchased the tire insurance from them. The lady visually inspected and couldn't see anything wrong. She refilled air and I went on my way. A few days later the TPMs light came back on. I took it back in. Told the rep the situation. Asked him if he could check it out for me. The tire is still under warranty and I have tire insurance on top of that. He told me he could not inspect the tire until I bought two new front tires from them. I gently declined. He kept on trying to sell me on tires citing safety issues etc. Since I did not buy two front tires from them, they refused to service my back tire. I brought the car in to get a tire checked out and serviced, from a store I bought the tire from, not to be solicited and forced to buy something I did not want. Why pay insurance for something when you can even utilize it for the reason you bought the insurance for in the first place. Came back to speak with a manager to report the incident and get some clarity. I was helped by a gentleman named Nicholas. He was great and he offered to help and make things right. I had to politely declined. I went to the other guys down the street. They were much more helpful and honest. After this experience I will never buy tires from them again. Been a loyal customer for over a decade. Spent thousands. Bought all of my family's tires from them. A company in decline, if they feel that they have to force, manipulate, and corner their customers to produce sales. What a shame.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Reliable Appliances Service for a repair on my LG Dryer, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and stress-free. Booking the appointment was straightforward, and they were very accommodating to my schedule and came out in a few hours. Charlie the technician arrived right on time and was not only highly skilled but also courteous and respectful of my home. He quickly diagnosed the issue and explained everything in simple terms, ensuring I understood what needed to be done and why. There were a few issues with my dryer, I needed new rollers and It had stopped heating, Charlie changed out the rollers and reset the thermal fuse and it was up and running. The repair itself was completed efficiently. The next day the fuse had tripped again, Charlie came back out in the morning (free of charge) and checked it. He concluded that I need to replace the Thermostat Assembly, he returned the next day with the parts to repair it and my appliance is now working like new! I also appreciated the fair pricing--no hidden fees or surprises. It's clear this company values honesty and quality workmanship. I previously left a very negative review about this company. I was contacted by the owner who me informed that I had them confused with another company. After checking I found that indeed he was correct. This company is named Reliable Appliances Service. My very negative experience was with a company by the name of Reliable Appliance Service. Note that the only difference between the two names is the use in the name of the word Appliance vs. Appliances. My apologies to Reliable Appliances Service but one can see where the confusion might arise. It's unfortunate that these two companies have such similar names. I suspect that I may not be the last to have been confused by the very slight differences in their names. This is a horrible company, that will take your money in an instance and leave you dry.. They took my money before I could even sign anything or approve it, let alone left me and my 5 kids with nothing to eat, I have an over drone account now, and I called the office thinking they had placed my money back in my account, and they stated we never got that message saying I needed a refund.. The tech arrived and diagnosed my failing compressor, and was done in less than 15 minutes. He was very polite and courteous. He said that the price of diagnostic would be credited if I decided to go through with the repair, but most people often choose to replace. The part was more than expected for the fan, however, the best option for us given the circumstances. Asher was transparent and very fair for the scope of work that needed to be done. I paid for only the part, and within 3 days the part had arrived, with an install date of Saturday. I would say that was fairly quick! Asher arrived and within a couple of hours had my range working just as new. For being a newer company in business, and i believe a smaller shop, I was impressed by their professionalism, responsiveness, great communication, friendliness, overall value and willingness to do right by the customer. This is one business I will plan on saving and use when other appliance issues come up. Thank you gents!!

Frank provided me with a quote of $1,800 on June 8, 2026, for my popcorn ceiling removal project. We discussed the scope of work multiple times to ensure we were on the same page, and the appointment was confirmed for June 19, 2026. Based on that agreement, I stopped looking for other contractors and arranged my schedule around the project. However, the night before the scheduled start date, Frank informed me that he would not perform the work unless I paid $2,500 instead of the originally agreed $1,800. When I asked for an explanation, Frank stated that he thought I would be giving him additional projects in the future, such as electrical work, flooring, and other home improvement jobs. While I may have mentioned that I have other projects around the house, I never agreed to hire him for those projects, nor was the $1,800 quote presented as being dependent on receiving future work. Our discussions and the Yelp referral were specifically for the popcorn ceiling removal project. If the quoted price depended on additional future projects, that should have been clearly communicated before the quote was given and before the appointment was confirmed. I feel it is unfair and unprofessional to increase the price by $700 less than 24 hours before the scheduled start date after we had already agreed on the project terms and date. I wanted to bring this situation to your attention because Frank was recommended through your Yelp communication, and I hope you can help review this matter and provide a fair resolution as soon as possible. I just knew from talking with Shay that he not only knew what he was doing but that he was an ethical person. Up front I he told me the risk of what a repair might cost; how there might have to be a second service call, etc. He told me the risk of my diagnosis of the problem could be wrong, etc. And in spite of all that I recommended him to my sister for this repair. And even though he has a wide service area, he fit my sister in for a same day call. And my diagnosis of the problem was wrong. But that did not deter him from his original estimate of cost. I actually wish there were more stars to give Superior Appliance and Shay.
