Negatives: I was charged $600 (in addition to the higher weekend fee to come out) for a repair that took 20 minutes and required no parts. It was two different charges that didn't really make sense because you couldn't have really done one without the other. It felt like I was taken advantage of as a single woman on a holiday weekend who didn't know how easy/quick the repair would be when I agreed to the cost. The service man also told me that the credit card payment on his tablet wasn't working so I had to pay by check. I wasn't planning to dispute a charge, but this made it to where I didn't have the option. I responded to two different text surveys with this rating and information and was assured both times that the service manager would follow up and they never did. My father also called multiple times and never got follow up. I was waiting until we heard back from them before I posted a negative review (I communicated this to them), but it's now been over 4 weeks. I have used them for repairs before without issue, but will not be using them again and would not recommend them to my friends/family/neighbors.

After pulling the dryer out from the wall it was discovered that the vent hose was ripped in the middle and too long that Lowe's had recently installed one month ago. The Lowes installation crew had installed an 8 food dryer hose. A shorter one was needed. The 4' hose was 79.00 from the Duct Doctor, it sells for 25.00 at Lowe's and that was added to the 249.00 minimum charge, so I believed all of this and gave him a 20.00 tip for a total $348.00. I need to include the following, the very kind technician sent his scope up the vent to discover very little lint in the shute and daylight peeking in at the top. He immediately suggested a roof vent to be replaced. He told me that it was going to cost 749.00. He had to schedule it with his roofer. I was shocked. A dryer vent on the roof is only about 25.00 at Lowe's. My house is 6 years old. The vent on the roof is metal and bent the way they are supposed to be. The light was a good signal that it was not clogged. I called my handyman after he left. My handyman came over only to find nothing was wrong with my roof vent. The light peeking through was the signal all was clear. One can imagine how I felt after this bad adventure. (On a side note-this house is 6 years old. We moved in 2 years ago. After we moved in we had the duct doctor over to check the vent and all was great. That was 2025). What would you think of this company's ethics?
